I went to see Kiss in 2016 to check them off my bucket list and I was fully aware of Paul's vocal issues so I knew what I was getting. Truth be told, I had such a blast and loved every minute of it. It was amazing and I'm glad I saw them.
Seen them on the Hottest Show On Earth tour. Amazing show nonetheless but I could really hear the strain in Paul's voice. It's hard to listen to this because they were the first rock band I had ever listened to thanks to Tony Hawk and I listened to all the old stuff. Even have the Alive! box set but this just hurts my ears and my soul. If you love the fans Paul, please hang it up. Spare what bit of voice you have left....

He's had to change how he sings songs like this- like most singers in their 60's they have to make adjustments to get thru some songs. He simply can't do them like the record anymore so they lower the key and change the notes. This was ok. it ain't what we used to get from Paul but this is the best he can do now and imo it was ok considering

Honest assessment: Always hate in the comment field for Paul due to the never-ending Ace/Peter vs Paul/Gene. The fans here are obviously enjoying it. The crowd participation _was_ helpful obviously. But, I see Kiss continuing to tour until it's almost impossible for them; they aren't going to give up until they absolutely have to. If they go another ten years and canes/walkers start to come into play...I will be giggling. In fact, I may go out of my way to see it. ;) But they're doing ok for their age. That's possible. I didn't went to their last concert in France because I readed on youtube his voice was an horror, and after the show, many french people said his voice was still correct, not like 40 years ago of course, but still correct. They are many haters on the web, like the Ace & Peter bla bla bla, who probably never seen the lasts performances of Ace...
