Relentless Pursuit I agree about everything except for the sound. The VW group EA888 engine sounds like trash, even for a turbo 4 cylinder. That Audi V6 in the Macan makes fruity sounds with an aftermarket exhaust on it.
@@nvl2691 aftermarket exhaust on the Ateca really helps Remus or Akrapovic, and a map can bring more pops / bangs. I'd much prefer the Ateca and £20k+ in my pocket
@@nvl2691 Yeah it doesn't sound nearly as good as the Turbo. I had one as a rental last weekend. Insane car. Now the rest of the Macan lineup is ruined for me.

I drove a Macan Turbo last weekend (rented through Turo). It's a crazy car. Tons of speed for the type of vehicle it is. But I was really impressed by how quiet and comfortable it was, too. Honestly even the S is probably just fine unless you need to do 0 to 60 in 4 seconds for some reason. I don't think I'd settle for the 4-cylinder Macan though.
i got to say a couple things
-the video quality is outstanding as always, no clickbait, no music, no fuck shit, only real cars, real sounds and real footage
-the addition of your app is perfect and a great insight, the different angles are also sweet
-the cupra is a great car and its impressive that it competes against a macan s, but imo the porsche just has a greater sound due to the extra liter of displacement
-keep the povs, the reviews, the showcases and all the other amazing videos coming, when it comes to car you can truly trust autotopnl

It’s hard to believe the Macan S and Ateca are that closely matched in acceleration considering there’s a 50% difference in engine size and the extreme price gap.

I ordered the Cupra Ateca Abt. Its faster as the Porsche and the price is unbeatable
amazing how underpower this porsche engine is, could do easily 500 hp and 600 tq
It's actually an Audi sourced V6, but true they could extract a lot more power & torque - they really should have made it closer to 400 hp
@@zackirstein9233 400hp ? come on! I mean the new a45 will have 420 with a 2.0 T 4 cylinder. Its a v6 could easily be around 500 without stress
The hp is so low that if u dont loot at the torque u can assume its a NA engine not a turbo one
@@alexisvasilonikolos2888 Of course it could, but when do manufacturers tune their engines to the absolute max in every application? It wouldn't make sense. If you want the faster one you get the Turbo, there has to be some hierarchy of power/price.
@@ApurtureSci The Macan turbo, hell even the Macan turbo performance is slow compared its competition: GLC63s, X3M and Stelvio quadrifoglio.

The performance of the CUPRA ATECA is impressive.The Ateca weighs less than the Macan, but it is a 4 cylinder engine and the aerodynamics are much worse than the Macan. Really impressive.

Seat Ateca done well but even with a better performance the Porsche has 100 hp of status everywhere.
Always owned Seat but My dream was to own a Porsche. I own a Porsche 981 BS today but if I have to climb down the ladder again it would be some kind of Seat Cupra. Cheap and great cars for the buck.

Irgendwie enttäuschend für den Porsche. Über 50 PS, 2 Zylinder und 1 Liter Hubraum mehr und dennoch nicht Mal eine Sek schneller.
BIRKERBOYZ wieso? Der Porsche hat mit 354PS zu 300PS nur 18% mehr Leistung, ist dafür mit 1940Kilo zu 1615kilo aber über 20% schwerer.
@@ndo144 Hubraum und NM sollten das alle Mal wett machen.
BIRKERBOYZ Drehmoment sind auch nur 20% mehr, der Hubraum bringt nur was weil dadurch mehr Leistung und Drehmoment möglich sind.
Die Möglichkeit hat Porsche hier aber nicht genutzt, wohl um den Macan Turbo mit 3,6L Hubraum und ähnlich geringer Literleistung besser verkaufen zu können.

Der hat halt oben rum mehr Power. Siehe 100-200. 1 ganze Sekunde schneller. Sind aber auch aufs Interieur bezogen 2 andere Welten. Ich würde den Cupra fahren. Einfach, weil er Designtechnisch zu dem Image (Sportlicher SUV) passt. Innen wie außen. Der Macan ist eher abgehoben...viel Tamtam aber nicht wirklich Leistung um das zu untermauern.

That's seriously impressive from the Ateca albeit it is lighter. It can't have much more hp than 300 as there's the ABT 350hp tune available.

It is pointless to compare two completely different cars. The Macan is way heavier and times better built. Handling wise no place to compare as well. The only good thing in the Ateca is the 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 3 engine, the rest is piece of shit
