A Walk in the Zoo with the Sony RX10IV

- The Sony RX10 IV goes to the zoo. This is an all in one camera with specs that are hard to believe. For me this camera is a great back up camera on long trips as well as a camera to always have close-by. It’s also a great camera for when you don’t want to haul a backpack full of lenses around all day. The camera features a one inch 20.1 CMOS sensor and a 24-600mm (35mm equivalent) built in lens.
In this video I give the RX10 IV a run for its money at the Indianapolis Zoo. I’ll have a full review on this camera on photopxl.com in the future as well as an in field report while using this camera on an Antarctica trip.

Interesting video, but it would have been much more informative had all the actual footage been shot with the RX10M4 itself.
I love this sony..thank for your sharing..
Great overview and really nice samples. You would have sold me on it, but you're too late. Love mine. Took a month to understand all the B&W's, but finally worked through it and feel very comfortable with it. We have a wonderful zoo here in Columbus, and I can't wait 'til the weather breaks to take my RX over there. Thanks for a fine job showing off this beautiful "do it all" camera!
It is the best all-in-one. The 24-600mm F2.4-F4 will go all the way to 50x zoom if you enable ClearZoom option. These 1" stacked-CMOS sensors are what go into sonys high end camcorders. Even has eye focusing and slog-3!
The images say A7III? What gives?
thank you ... I thought I was seeing things!!! I don't get it either.
Yeah, saw it too.
Why do some of the better images say Sony a7 iii ?
I recently puchased this camera.. maybe I am missing something but on the still shots that you show in the video, all are labeled sony a7III with various lens.. I was under the impression the shots would be with the RX10M4
I was also wondering about that
In your opinion it is worth buy it now ? Or maybe you have other example to buy camera with 4k and huge zoom and fast af?
I recently got this amazing camera, my only snag is when I record video, where does it actually go?, when I transfer my images from the card onto my phone no videos come over Um
Lol heck i have this camera and live close to indy. Weird coincidence.
What did you shoot your video with?
Good review, thank you :)
Great review, thanks :)
You are welcome.
Hello guys, Is not those photos looks like little washed out?
Weird that you’re asked by many people on here why you’re showing that this was shot using a different camera…. Yet you ignore every one of them. Not good.
Overpriced
It's closest competitor is the Panasonic FZ2000/2500 and honestly thats like comparing a Ferrari to a Porsche. Both good cars but one is on another level in terms of price and performance.
What’s the point of reviewing a camera and filling the video with photos from a different camera...waste of time 😡
I agree. It was frustrating and disappointing.
