Last week the NFAC, the No F-ing Around Coalition, held a 2nd Amendment march in Louisville that ended up sending several members to the hospital after a member had a negligent discharge while in formation. But it doesn't end there! A NFAC leader went online to defend the member and blame the incident on faulty weaponry, going as far to say that "Rifles go off on their own all the time."

I'm only 130lbs and I can shoot an old bolt action 8mm Mauser and not get "knocked the fuck back" they are just a bunch of pussy morons that have to convert thier 5.56/223 down to a fucking .22 to be able to handle it. That's embarrassing right there. Which also tells you thier shooting stances are just as bad as thier trigger discipline.
Not just that but the rifle I can ensure is not even a sbr and sbrs are known to have a even worse kick since they were designed with a bigger gas port for more reliable cycling which leads to more force especially on a stock ar spring and even then the issue can be resolved with a stiffer spring and even then the recoil should not be Bull kicking you to China or something like that

I'm british of all nationalities and learned that a bullpup is when the mag is behind the trigger. It was explained by a Army firearms instructor when my school visited an Army exhibition in Cardiff, probably because the standard issue rifle of the British Army is an SA80

I was a SAW gunner and during one bad day in Iraq when I ran out of ammo I picked up one of my wounded friend's M-4 and ended up dropping mags one handed while holding on to cob job armor on our 5-ton. It felt like shooting a squirt gun compared to my SAW's 900 round a minute/15 rounds a second fire rate.

First time I fired a weapon I left it on fire and I thought it was no big deal because the weapon was clear. When my Drill Sergeant came over to confirm that my M4 was clear he grabbed the back of head and slammed my face into my rifle screaming at me to tell him what was wrong with my weapon. Never did that again.
I’m 13 and I know more about a M16/M4 or any rifle than that militia leader. Even with a toy gun I have better trigger discipline than them.

Fun story:
When I was in Basic in 2010 I was issued a rifle with a broken selector lever.
Initially that may sound terrifying for an untrained civi to run around with a weapon with no safety, however it was only discovered on the introduction range when I had to calibrate the rifle. It wasn't broken with a safety that didn't work, and it fired perfectly well on semi, but the burst selector was broken. It was fully automatic.
Now I was terrified because my drill sergeant would have literally crawled down my throat if he found out, but it was the first sergeant who was in charge of my section of the range. He wasn't angry at all but had me sit tight while the armory corporal was called over to take a loot.
The captain of the battalion came over to check on me.
"What's going on warrior?" (Fucking hate that name to this day.)
"Sir, my rifle is broken."
"How so soldier?"
"Sir, it fires in fully automatic sir."
"Oh... That's badass, hooah?"
"Uh... Hooah sir."
Didn't blow my head off or shoot a battle, just broken. Sorry probably not on topic.

I have several firearms around my house. Even one under the sink in the bathroom. Because you never know. All with one in the whole and not one has fired themselves.
I was in basic training in 1991 and my wife in 2003, yet neither of us can recall a single instance where a private killed or injured themselves because of a negligent discharge where the weapon "went off by itself". The only training accident I know of is a private who was shot in the leg by an M60 because the person operating it wasn't pointing it down-range.
