Theory time! We know that every SQUIP is linked to another right? I believe someone in Eminem's entourage was SQUIPed and that the SQUIP told Eminem's friend to leave a hockey stick in a favorable place to boost the odds of Eminem dying. This way Jeremy's SQUIP gets what he wants by making Jeremy gain Brooke's sympathy and Eminem's friend's SQUIP furthers his plans of becoming the new Eminem.

Is it weird this is my favorite song in the musical.
Like there’s this moment where the Squip gets intense. Challenges Jeremys manhood, shows that they gotta plan, and since neither give Jeremy motivation in that moment he notices Christine, changes the tune to match Jeremys own when he sees her, and convinced him to take the upgrade. It’s amazing.
Also Brooke being adorable.

Seriously can't express how much I love this animatic… the way the Squip moves, Christine's facial expressions (really everyone's facial expressions but I love the hesitation written all over Christine's face), Jeremy eavesdropping on their conversation, the girls' volleyball team footage, the character design in general, the darkness creeping in on Jeremy, how the Squip looks kinda faded/ghostlike next to Brooke, Michael bumping into someone, CHRISTINE MANIFESTING NEXT TO JEREMY… just, everything. This artist is so good with these animatics that I want them to do a fully animated version of the play with their own touches and "cinematography" so badly!! There are so many great character moments in the animation! My favorite is 7:00 Jeremy reaches out his hand to the SQUIP and rather than take it, the SQUIP reaches his hand out too. This forces Jeremy to take the SQUIP's hand rather than the other way around. It's a little moment but it reinforces who's in control. Actually, Brooke never cared for Jeremy, she chose to date him solely for making her best friend jealous. Check the "Do you wanna ride part 2" where Brooke's best friend (forgot her name) tells Jeremy she's fake. She only dated Jeremy because she saw how jealous her best friend was at the mall when Jeremy complimented Brooke rather than her.
I've had all my friends stop doing stuff with me, one day, they excluded me, I was always called the clown in our group, I was the one who everyone used to be happy, it was fun, but then they stopped, they left me behind, Ive had to endure 6 years, alone noone making an effort of making, at one point the "funniest guy in school", happy, no one's talked to me, no one's happy with me bieng around, which I can't understand, so I feel sorry for Michael...
