These two have been legendary since before I was in college, and I’m now in my 40s. The amazing thing to me after all the musical genius that each of them brings is that they’re a life-long couple. There is something so powerful in realizing that their love for music brought them together in such a personal love, and that this personal love shines through so uniquely in what they can do together musically.

My mom got this Tuck and Patti CD when I was 18 and although I was really into electronic music I liked it a lot. It's pure, sincere. Now I learn that one of my favorite singer and guitar player is Tucks niece Annie Clark better known as St-Vincent.

BUT though the song here is obviously Cindi Lauper's original, The Tuck and Patti PERFORMANCE is SO STUNNING it somehow transformed 'Time After Time' into its own other Unique Experience that is ALL Tuck and Patti... JUST Tuck and Patti. It's become something more than just a cover, it a whole other, new kinda thing. It's THAT GOOD!
