- Welcome aboard The Mothership: Lisa Bella Donna's interconnected fleet of seven powerful Mother-32s, two percussive DFAMs, and one paraphonic Matriarch.
This video is a glimpse into the myriad of sonic possibilities the Moog mother ecosystem can offer to musicians of all skill levels. Watch and listen as Lisa Bella Donna unleashes the vast potential of these instruments, demonstrating just how thunderous their sound can be when connected together.
"The sequencer system in this setup is something very special and unveils so much more than meets the eye when you dig in. Then there’s the SOUND. These synths can move serious air and give you the flexibility of 10 octave oscillators, richly classic Moog filtering, and VCAs that can offer both musical dynamics and grit when you wish for it." - Lisa Bella Donna

Lisa has to be responsible for selling tens of thousands of dollars in Moog gear with her videos. She gets the absolute most out of Moog. A truly gifted musician, and a great product.
Yep. I'm one of those people who Lisa's playing pushed over the edge into a purchase.
@@strangersun7721 this is how capitalism works haha
Her playing is superb.
I'll keep my money, listen...and dream.
Very musical!
true this i was already trying to find where i could get one of theseLisa Bella Donna Synths Oh 7 ~
Excellence in synth and keyboard skill, sound design, composition and orchestration. A teacher for us all.
Those finger speed runs are so satisfying!
i dont know how to express in words about this piece of awesome creativity .
Fantastic .........
MOOG MOTHERSHIP IS SUPERSHIP ! ! !
Lisa kicks ass. Moog couldn't have a better ambassador. Nuff said.
@SilverSulu You can say it LOUD!:)
You are welcome pioneer, wish you can visit South Africa 🇿🇦
The aliens are probably receiving the transmission and they're like "Its cool man, I think they're finally ready for us"
Google it, they finally revealed themselves.
That drum beat! I keep watching this
when high level musical skills collide with high level technical skills and high level compositional skills... It's really the top of the game. A lifelong journey. Bravo Maestro.
With headphones it's even more amazing... It doesn't get much better than this, this is the mothership of all live performances with synths.
I’m listening through my Ampeg SVTs and it sounds killer. I also activate my flanger and delay just to see what cool sounds I can generate from her already beyond amazing sounds that she’s playing. To do that is sort of like using a granular synthesizer
But yeah, she’s a real deal modern day synthesizer warrior. What’s interest is she lives in my state somewhere around the New River Gorge and Smokehole Caverns region…
So to have a place in that location that’s somewhat isolated and surrounded by mountains and forest with synthesizers lining the walls… who could ask for a better scenery than that? That’s a blessing to be setup like that with her talents, and she shares that with us all
with headphones you don't need weed no more
Holy moly, she's unstoppable. Those speedy runs, those chords and that sequence, hot damn!
It felt like a sci-fi story. Brilliant 😍
Remids me of the late 70 synth masterpieces. Lisa keeps the heritage. Those things are rarely seen nowadays. THUMBS UP!
April 2020 - woman with best job in the world found at Moog.
This is awesome! All of it.
A beautiful lady, an intelligent artist, a truly musician. Thanks for the magic!
Super, thank you very much :)
Great unity of mind, woman, instrument and music.
This is like a scene out of Star Trek or some other sci-fi thing, I love it!
I can't stop listening to The Mothership I & II -- Incredible works of art!
This reminds me of T.O.N.T.O - I love it so much! Simply amazing music.
You are amazingly talented Lisa.
She's the best. What a speed on the keys! lovely sequence and sounds. I love everything she makes.
Love that finger work at 2.45..immense
Lovely, lovely, lovely ~💥🎹🐾💡🐒
Those ideas that Lisa, playing on the sequences of midi controller, is absolutely amazing and powerful. She's absolutely amazing and fantastic artist. 😂😍💖
An incredible pairing of technical acumen coupled with musical virtuosity and raw creative force. I’m am officially a fan!
As a kid this was my dream. Watching you makes me feel like it came true. Absolutely love it. ... J
Whew!! 3:05 😆😆😆. Great performance !!
Considering the blandness of modern prog...Lisa you have saved us from ourselves, this stuff is gorgeous.
This is absolutely amazing. Outside of Tomita, I never really got into synth music until a couple of years ago. Now it's been mostly what I listen to. People like Suzanne Ciani and Lisa Bella Donna have just completely blown me away!
The music of mind
I think I have been hypnotized, with this music...................
Nothing sounds like the Matriarch. It’s a masterpiece.
This is the best use of modular synthesis I've ever sceen. Most modular synth artist either have no talent /creativity, no understanding of synthesis or do not know how to use the equipment. But Lisa is gifted with all three. Incredibly talented, has a complete understanding of synthesis and has mastered these machines. What an incredible performance!!
Boooom ... just smashed my mind ;)
Wow! Wow Wow Wow! That sounds great!
As a Matriarch owner, this is the most inspiring thing I've seen ever.
This is what I call a great piece of electronic music.
One cool mothership, and a captain who knows exactly how to navigate it. Impressive stuff!!!
Excellent! Excellent! Have I said excellent yet?
What a marvelous piece, played by a beautiful lady with immense talent. 🤗😊❤️
I could listen to Lisa Bella Donna All day! Sooooo good
I like this. Thanks. Rich music.
We love you Lisa, youre amazing!
OMG!!! this is perfect, made an Old Man's day, thank you....sounds a wee bit of Jarre' and TD love it
Lisa always kills it. So much feel. I love the "one off" nature of analog synth sessions. The fact you can never do thee exact same thing twice. It's a vibe! New videos ever week please. 😎
A coherent piece. It made sense. It told a story. It created a picture. It was pleasant. It was interesting. I like it. I'm putting the name in the search engine...
Show off! And i love it!
Whenever I think of what sort of artist I want to become one day, she's truly a uniquely amazing source of inspiration because of her style, passion and down to earth personality.
For me as a "grown up playchild" it is absolutely amazing to watch people operating these "cockpit-like" gigantic analogue modular synths! I would never get any sound out of this on purpose, but I love to watch people doing so! ...and by the way: I love the sound of analogue synthesizers....
Very very welk done 👍 i love it 😍
Bloody brilliant, i,v just been beamed up! 🤯😲
Lisa Bella Donna at her best. Absolutely mindblowing!
OMG that run at 0:40 was amazing!
I wish she would have more songs like this. Her first 3 pieces from the album Odyssey are one of my favorite electronic music.
gracias a ti :))) excelente !!! felicitaciones !!!
sounds amazing!
Those chord progressions with that "grit", and the drum accompaniment, to the runs up and down the synth... jaws are dropped, Hail The Master!
Love you Lisa. ❤
Bravissima.........
Excellent Tune! Now make one with all the mother 32s in the background patched in too.
One of the best performances, Lisa doesn’t mess around!
Wow the best!!!! amazing performance, hi from Guatemala I´m your FAN!
Fabulous! Every time her fingers danced up and down the keyboard, it made me smile.
Wow... Exactly the kind of stuff that kindled my passion for electronic music way back in the 70s and 80s. Thank you Lisa. Thank you Moog. More of this please.
Moog Goddess! This video is incredible! Fantastic work!
Thats simply freakin awesome!!!
Oh wow, stop the bus !! This is nothing short of amazing. 😉
Headphones 🎧. That stereo 💓. Love this. 👏🏻
I didn't really like what was going on in the left in the beginning. Made me feel like I was losing hearing in that ear periodically
Nice! I'm listening on simple 2-channel analog audio in my bedroom and the sound is so thick & rich I could cut a piece off up in the air and eat it!
I’m speechless.
YEAAH! Damn that was crazy ride thanks ;)
HUGE INSPIRATION, TYSM LISA AND MOOG!!
Leonardo da Vinci did "Monna Lisa" in 1527. Today we've got "Mooga Lisa"😂
Da vinki?
Genuinely one of the funniest comments I've seen...
oh...wow! Thank you Lisa :-)
I love the MOOG.
YOU LADY, killed it!
Nice tip of the hat to the 70ies Schulze, Tangerine Dream and the like
Indeed! I also thought of Vangelis before his rent-a-soundtrack shtick took over!
I like the Lisa demos because she actually makes really incredible music. It’s not just “look, a synthesizer with a bunch of cheesy resonance” wankery. Great work!
intheblink cheesy resonance wankery... you speak my language....love it!
Hahaha cheesy resonance
Wow. This is ... WOW!
I like your Mothership, thank you
Reminds me of old-school Tangerine Dream. Great work!
This is how it's supposed to sound. Superb!
Ok Lisa.... now you’re just showing off... So good!
Darren Weight Just having fun exploring sweetie! I love these instruments and the sound so much! 💗🎛🎛🎛🎛🎛🎛🎛🎛
Lisa Bella Donna
I know. It was meant as a compliment! I’ve been into synths for nearly 30 years and am just dipping my toes into the modular pool the last few months.
I’ve purchased 3 semi-modular synths so I can try to find the best add-one to really expand their capabilities.
Anyway - it was a compliment and blows my mind how you control it all in “real-time”! Very inspiring!
Wonderful work Donna .Class
This just oozes class. Love Lisa and Moog together.
Damn, those sweeps are tight!
Amazing perfomance!
It's like the synths are becoming one living entity, start growing legs and is about to overtake the city. pretty darn amazing performance
WOW Funky Groovy Techy, Cosmic Trippy ,, Being an old ----ish hippy who loves Hawkind Dik Mik Dell Dettmar and most of the 70s Synthi stuff, Kraftwork Tangerine , Nektar, this is way up there Superb shared.
Living proof that synthesis is even cooler when you can seriously play your *ss off!
I actually snorted reading that @Divinital
@Divinital Most people just want to play with toys. Being a musician takes work.
Yeah, like me. Filling up the dark space. But, i like it. Playing with toys. I Wonder If im going to get some more toys. :) i like this!
@@gunjabeans you mean I have to play with these toys for *how* long to have been doing it for six months? gosh I want a refund on this fad, I've been buying hundreds of thousands of dollars of synthesizers for a whole two weeks and NOW how will I ever use them if I have to work at it? 😭😭😭 if only you could be a musician just by playing with toys, I'd use my literally billions of subharmonicons to make something truly original!
@DIV1NITAL Spot on.
Seven M32s? Sick! Bad ass jam as well!
Incredible¡¡¡ she is beyond our present.
Just find this video... Awesome... Repeat and watch again, with good Headphones... My favourite: Lead sounds on top of sequenced line... And great build up noise reverb FX at ending... Reference Track👍cheers
Omg this is really unbelievable to see, really unbelievable😍😍 I'm on the way to choose between Moog Grandmother and Behringer MonoPoly, this video does not make the decision easier😍😍😍
Moog i love your products , listen to her music to makes you CRAZY , the stereo effects on this are the cherry on top of the cake , also the reverb is so high quality that is impressive
Love this woman! She is a very accomplished player and knows her way round the moog. Love to spend time exploring noise with her!
We are all travelling together on a massive spaceship towards consciousness. This is our journey of awakening! In this present moment : past, present and future are mixed and simultaneous. Dimensions are energy densities of consciousness. As we raise our vibrations, frequency becomes thought and then action into reality. Let the music Be…
I own both the mother 32 and the matriarch - they are amazing synths. Donna is our true goddess!
Always inspirational. Makes me go right back and experiment some more. Plus someone please get her to score their movie or TV series. ANYONE
Funny, I was thinking the same thing.
This is amazing! Pure space! I have goosebumps all over my body, listening to headphones, at the home theater...
Brilliant. Beautiful. Powerful. 🖤
