Robert Baker hi Robert . Thanks for videos . Do u have the tabs for the intro of this video ? (The first min ) thanks .
any one ever tell you that you sound like lazlow from the Grand Theft Auto series?
eric wang did u get the tabs I’m after them also and backing track can u help
Buck Norris born symgyototyyyyotysyohthottsotog...
Watch me play guitar and pretend that I am teaching
you belong in a hair band, and deserve to be famous. the energy you bring makes me WANT to practice
Kevin Hebert i totally agree.. he has it all. The tone, skills, looks.
Entitlement
100% agree with this
Phil and Steve were two of the most underrated guitarists of the 80s. I had High N Dry on repeat for months.
High and Dry was Steve and Pete. Phil didn't show up until he provided some of the leads for Pyromania. But I agree, High and Dry was epic
On through the night wasn't to shabby either
Listened to the intro several times. I can't wait until your 80's course comes out.
2 notes into the first riff and already had to leave a like. Fucking LOVE Dokken. George Lynch is a bad ass, and the majority of the albums he has been involved with have been stellar, with only a couple total bombs.
The tone in the intro was awesome
thanks homie
I have never heard a Robert Baker video that didn't have awesome guitar tone.
I am gonna stole those licks on the intros 😁😁
Hell Yea 80s metal RIFF WEEK!!!!! THANK YOU BROTHER!
Nice! As an intermediate in Guitar, I really will enjoy playing these Metal licks! One of my favorite genres besides Blues.
You always inspire me to pick up my guitar, you're awesome homie!
80's metal yes. The guitars best age
you got that right
Until Dime tore it up in the 90's
70's was good too.
Very true
Don't even compare Dime to the pure brilliance of Eddie/Vai/Satriani/Lynch/Malmsteen in the 80's.
Does anyone ever come here just to listen to beginning?
The opening was SICK OMG
Robert doesn't tell you but its his hair that makes it 80's
Awesome intro guitar part! Just learned it after watching this video
Baker teaching power chords with the pinky, Henning would be proud.
+JamCave Studio I think he hates that I use my pinky for power chords hahaha
Robert Baker ah, can’t win with that guy.
Happy New Year, homie!! Rock on... \m/
happy new year buddy
Awesome intro riff dude! Loved it. Real catchy and has that killer 80s vibe. Great stuff.
Baker you rock dude .
What is the intro song your playing (its awesome)
I have to say I love the new style and layout of your videos keep doing it this way
anything that says 80's in the title MUST involve the lava crackle charvel! haha
satchbooggy
I love that thing!
I’m a few years late to this vid but I LOVE this guys presentation. Seems I need killer hair though 😂
Thanks Robert. Good stuff
this awesome intro deserves tab and lesson much more than those 5 riffs
Is it just me, or does Robert have the best flowing hair in the name of guitar playing?
Thanks so much for this, just the video I was looking for to start off the new year!
It would be awesome if you could tab out the intro you made on this video (what a great riff )
I eagerly await the inclusion of
Cinderella
WASP
Skid Row
Type O Negative
Happy New Year Robert Baker! May 2018 kick the pants off of 2017 for you!
What a way 2 kick of the new year🎸 thanks for the awesome vid!
The very first song you played.. it’s amazing. I feel like a loser because I can’t name it, but it’s the best thing I have heard in years.
Good stuff brother! Thanks for these riffs. I’m gonna jam on them now and throw a quick vid on the IG. 🤘🏼
"for beginners"
*plays George lynch riff*
K-pubs What was so difficult with that riff? It's pretty basic riff.
It sounds hella cool but it's not that hard.. really, give it a try.
Anyone know what time was the intro riff? Was that something he made up?
@@ArmaAceChannel, I wondered the same just after watching the intro of this video. Did you find out what song is?
At least it wasn’t mr. scary
hey robert heres a video idea do left hand riff challange
Love ur love of 80's metal, Robert...Good stuff and instruction, as always. Happy New Year to u and yours!
The year has barely begun and Robert is already detonating. Perfect...
80s riff tutelage from a total super cutie. Cheers!
Haha, we use to play bang your head, it's actually one of those fun song to play. We also did Living after midnight and a few Metallica & Sabbath songs. HAPPY NEW YEARS Rob... Take it easy.
Love your videos Robert, fun songs to play in east to learn format... many thanks.
Awesome, thanks 👍☺️!!! I love that orange crackle-top charvelle!!!!
Nice Charvel lava red Crackle I have the blue, red and yellow Crackle I love it . Nice riffs.
That opening ROCKED HARD!
Robert, can you please tab out your intro on this videos. Its awesomeness!!!!!!!
MORE 80's METAL. Period.
I watch this all day thankyou
Thanks Robert this video really helped with power chords n confidence to play them in some songs and transition just all around helpful video wit cool riffs too.. I’m still back n forth with the ring finger pinky finger power chord.. I just can’t decide pink is sort of more comfortable and I was watching how you do it with pinky it allows your middle two fingers to be available for “chucka chucka” type mutes lol so it probably is best. Opinions anyone? Cuz it also seems counter intuitive to use pinky since the one finger per fret think ya know you’d think your ring would be the finger to use two frets(hole step) up from the pointer but it is more comfortable with pinky so I’d love to hear what the majority of players are doing so please reply I’ll take all the advice I can get thanks again Robert and all players
the song from the intro made my day. Awesome
Hi Robert,
Bro! do you have the tabs for that awesome guitar intro that you're playing on this video?
Cheers!
Dude that is some bad ass intro.
Love the tone bro. Would be greatly appreciated if you could post a rig rundown that you used in the intro.
Thank U Robert for showing us how to rock the right way.......
I got so hyped when photograph was on the list the song is too underrated
Nice axes bro ! Great playing also ! Love this channel,, I couldn't believe the prices I seen on EBay for Charvel Guitars The other day !
Killer intro track! Digging it with a large shovel!
Great opening jam. Happy New Year.
Steve Clark is who inspired me to play!
Top 5 Megadeth riffs with tabs my man!
Hook in Mouth, Holy Wars, Ashes in Your Mouth, The Conjuring, Wake Up Dead. That's my top 5. So many good riffs though.
agreed brotha!
You’re awesome man
Yep looks like more good stuff on its way for 2018 from you guys
Thanks Robert from a Dokken fanboy and an eighties refugee.
Awesome, thanks for posting this video
Happy New year...Rock on
IM 14 AND I LOOOOVEEEE DOKKEN
Holy shit it sounds so good! What amp and cab?
The intro was awesome! The first 40 seconds sounded a little famiilar, but i cant place it. Wouldn't mind a tab or a video on how to play this intro.
Metal Health is such a bad ass riff.
i've been checking out a lot of your vids and good stuff! i want to ask a question and seems like I saw a fractal in your rack maybe? i am looking for a good dsp and have a few in mind other than the fractal, but i keep thinking I need to keep it in my serious thought. Do you love yours? and probably a silly question. I heard Phil Collen of Leppard and thanks for putting Photograph on here which reminded me of who stated fractal is coming out with a new unit soon! I'd love to find one good on seemess channel switching, because many you change presets te volume is way to loud or to soft. Rock on friend!
0:03 name of the song ?
I didn't catch if you mentioned what your AXE is tuned to? I tune all my strings 1/2 step down. Oh, yeah; your tone kicks butt!
Happy New Year brother
robs great always having fun with it! reminds me of a rock-n-roll David spade lmao
Kickass bro. You've got a new subscriber!!!!
Hey folks;) Anybody know if Robert plays thru an amp, or that modeling preamp thing? Huge Sound!!
Cool! Thanks bro
Thank you for the sweet videos, dude!
Hell Yeah!!! Massive sounding!!!! Great video!!!!!!
Wicked Robert is this backing track available to purchase or could you send me a link love your stuff and those guitars wow
Hey robert thanks for your brilliant videos. Im a kinda beginner and you make it easy to follow. Can i ask what amp and pedal you are using please ?
great, thank you !
Damn this must have been before metal went hardcore and insane, I can dig it!
Learned Bang Your Head with an open G chord muting the A string is that not correct?
Love it, thanks dude
You make it look so easy bro.
MY FACE JUST GOT MELTED FROM THE HIGH VOLTAGE ROCK ;P
Name of the riff you played when the video started?
YASSSSS!!!!
Love the 80s...cant wait for more
Hey!, I want the riff you played at the beginning... So fucking cool guitar riff. Oh! yeah...
Hoping for some 80s thrash metal in the upcoming videos!! \m/

Epic stuff Mr Baker. Need you to do an 80's Guitar Course! What happened to that?
That intro is freaking awesome
Thanks homie
Hey Robert happy new year!
Hey dude happy new year :)
Awesome guitar man
Wasn't "Here I Go Again" written and performed by Bernie Marsden before he left White Snake?
I was just about to ask that myself. I'm pretty sure it was Bernie as well, he certainly has writing credits along with Coverdale.
Bernie Marsden played on 82 version and co wrote it, John Sykes played on 87 studio version being played here
For me personally, the "Saints and Sinners" version is easily the better of the two...
Shoulda used 'still of the night' for the Whitesnake entry :p
Dam theres some nice gear sitting in that room !!!
so very good
