All during that adorably awkward scene with Harriet and Martin I was thinking to myself, "I bet Knightly is having to physically restrain Emma right now." Yup.

So even though Alex was pretty much restraining Emma I couldn't help but think, "PHYSICAL CONTACT PHYSICAL CONTACT"
Right??? I was like, The touching phase the touching phase!! XDD
It was beautifully hilarious. It also kind of showed how close the two of them are, and how long they have known each other (cause you don't usually pick up your business partner to prevent them from running off). I can picture little Alex holding back a tiny angry Emma when she was like 6 or something, and wanted to go meddle with something.
When he brings he back to the bench/chair/stool thing in front of the computer I was just like "SHE IS SITTING ON HIS LAP. THEY'RE TOUGHING. NOW KISS" even though I know that it won't happen yet. :(
The physical contact between Lizzie and Darcy though *swoons* phew now THAT blew me away!
Oh my lord. That one episode where she touches his shoulder as she walked past! I flipped.
That scene where Alex is restraining Emma is EVERYTHING I've ever wanted. And I LOVE how he says "stay."

Oh my god was anyone else impressed by how easily Alex carried Emma? Like the only struggle was keeping her calm the actual picking her up seemed pretty easy for him. SO FREAKING CUTE
So, "He noticed I changed my desktop" wouldn't happen to be a metaphor for, "He noticed I changed my hairstyle," would it? I mean, what with him saying that her "system looks beautiful... as far as computers go."
Meh, it's probably nothing.
I went from almost crying at how cute Martin is to laughing about Alex restraining Emma.

Is it just me or does the slight edge of pain render Martin unexpectedly attractive?
THE WAY MARTIN AND HARRIET TALKED ABOUT COMPUTERS BUT THEY WERE ACTUALLY TALKING ABOUT THEMSELVES MADE MY HEART SQUEEZE ITSELF.
And then Harriet said she didn't get if he meant something by what he said at the last moment...HE DID! Emma seriously, you need to stop pushing those two together because no matter what you do, faith is strong, stronger than even you.
P.S: Alex dragging Emma was so funny and cute at the same time! I just LOVE their fights.

Favorite episode so far. I loved the contrast in the two relationships. And I wanted everybody to make out. Like a montage of it. Lol.

I LOVED THIS EPISODE! It was my favourite in a long while. I know I've had my issues with Martin before but I think he was so spot on in this episode (I believe the show is fixing many of its former problems): he was in love, but respectful, sweet but protective of his own feelings, subtle but honest. A very good man and someone who deserves a sweet naïve girl like Harriet. The meeting was also very similar to the book (especially Emma's reaction to it and her advices to Harriet).
Uhhh did Knightley grab a feel in all this? Well done, Alex, well done ;)

***** ah! I think you did a great job in this episode, it was a fine and multi-layered interpretation. I loved how many contrasting emotions you managed to convey in such a short time - the show is finally making me feel something here. I especially liked the physicality of it - given that Martin began as someone who was verbally clumsy, in my opinion, I like that he's using his body so much to tell things he can't manage to say.
As much as I love the Emma-Alex relationship, I find I look forward to the Harriet-Martin storyline just as much, if not more at times. Superb acting and story development here!

Martin, what a nice surprise! I can't wait for Harriet's hesitation around him to turn into a giant smile like the one plastered on my face at the sound of "Hey Harriet" and the sight of his checkered shirt. Aww, "Your system looks beautiful" = "You look beautiful" and "Backup your files" = "take care of yourself." *sigh*
Knightley restraining Emma was hilarious and a much-needed laugh. I'm impressed at his mastering of positioning his hands just-so to better restrain her while not copping a feel!
For some reason, "beef jerky" makes me crack up every time, too. I think it's the excited tone in his voice when I can just hear the disgust in Emma's mind if she heard that it wasn't some other more "lucrative" prize.
Agh, Emma. . . B-Mart isn't the plague. You react worse to him than you do to Harriet catching the flu. Get a grip! Also, you may be the creative side of the business, but being good at your job also means respecting how Knightley does his and working with him to make your company the best it can be -- truly Emma-Approved!

I spent a significant portion of this episode wondering how Emma was not able to quickly interrupt Harriet and Martin in a presumably small office. I'm really glad this point was sufficiently addressed.
I mean i know that Alex was just holding back Emma but she was practically sitting on his lap... flirting... restraining either way I WILL TAKE THAT.
I always find it frustrating that Emma cannot just leave Harriet be. Drives me crazy. Let her find her own happiness, let her solve her own problems.
Harriet and Martin: was anyone else just hoping that he'd clear away a part of the desk and they'd just start making out when he turned around before leaving?

Megan Fox They film all the episodes ahead of time (at least a month in advance), so this was filmed before or during February. They may have announced their relationship in April, but they probably started dating (at least) a few months before.
Actually, they started dating earlier than that. They have a picture of them kissing at Christmas. They just kept it a secret until April.

I was totally imagining him grabbing Harriet and planting a great passionate smooch on her! Eeeeeep!!! And Alex holding Emma back??? Seriously. This is the most fangirltastic episode yet.

The squeal levels were off the chart over here! Bmart and Harriet are so adorable and clearly in like with each other, it's crazy and of course the writers didn't let us down and that scene with Alex carrying Emma was hilarious! Another great episode!
I gotta say, at first I wasn't sure about Joanna and Brent's chemistry, but after a while we can see that they match each other perfectly. Can't wait for more Emma Approved!
