This brings me to tears as it is the set my grandfather played many years ago. It takes me back to a very happy time when you only worried when the music stopped.
Greetings from a differant Lismore --Australia , New South Wales-- Nice music and a reminder of our for-fathers, Wilson ,who first settled here travelling the river on a massive raft complete with live stock to build a farm and colonise.
My great grandpa wrote the lyrics to this song (Edward Pursell). He was also an incredible artist. Lots of his painting around the family homes. He lived in the Davaar house across from the island.
