I can't believe he's only been climbing for 6.5 years and already sending 8C's, that's amazing!

And what was it? 8b+ in like 2-3 years?? His progression is mind-boggling, a phenom well and truly

This is probably my favourite climbing film of all time, and I've seen them all. Kinda plays out like a climber and his imaginary friend nerding out about climbing. Seeing him celebrate the tiny successes is super inspiring.

Climbing films have come a long way in a short time. Hopefully the times when every move in a bouldering film had to be accompanied by some badass music have come to an end. Excellent production that not only showed the complexity and beauty of the climbing itself, but also a sense of the tranquility and peace nature has to offer.

Echo the comments from others. Really well made film, but more importantly this lad is a serious talent. To go from zero to 8C in six years is mental.
Natural finger strength and ability only get you so far. Dave's attitude is the difference. What a top lad.
Could say I wished I'd had the training info etc when I was younger but it's really all about application and using your talent correctly.
From someone who was an 8b climber (finger injury away from 8c and Hubble.... damnit), 8A boulderer, World Cup competition 1/4 finalist....... in 1992. Not so much now.😂
    Chapeau son!

You guys produce amazing films. The music fits the action perfectly, it is not an annoying shit that you have to mute. The story is always interesting. Philosopher at 14:20 :) By the way - amazing progression of a climber - 6,5 years and a world top...
