R.I.P Baron Zeppeli. I got the same reaction hoping for a miracle so Zeppeli could live on but at the same time I think his death makes his character even more beautiful cause he knew this path will guide him to his horrible death but he didn't hesitate if his sacrifice helps to stop Dio and the mask, pretty heroic. I still cry when I hear Zppeli's last words... It was hard to say goodbye that soon to a very unique character as him...

The fact that in so few episodes we felt connected to the character really speaks volume of the creator and his writing

Kinda like your predictions based on popular cliche. But IT IS what is a part 1 is, it's a cliche heroic story that starts an epic future adventure. With every next part I started appreciate part 1 more and more for such great story base, where good and evil is oblivious. So I hope you didn't get frustrated about these cliche moments :) They are must be like that
