    Muito “helpful” ☺️ I was writing down “palavras para conduzir” and had several verbs for ‘to start’ (ascender, començar). I didn’t have ligar though because I thought it only referred to calling on the telephone. Obrigada for the clarification. Very, very helpful.

    Muito obrigado. Mais um significado do verbo Ligar: No aeroporto: voos de ligação (uma placa que monstra o caminho para passageiros que precisam apanhar voos de ligação - connection flights). Muito obrigado mais uma vez pelo video muito muito util.

    Thank you Sandra, very interesting. I have never come across this way of giving importance to something or someone, just one question is it " a política" rather than "à política", because it is politics in general terms which is being talked about, and "ao futebol Ingles" because it is very specifically from a particular nation?
