At this point, I'd just expect him to keep doing the same thing until we get a reveal, and try to guess exactly what he'll say each time, it's kind of a fun game to play, if you really think about it

My main problem with this whole situation is not the fact that that a new console hasn't been announced (we have no concrete evidence it even exists) its the fact that so many Nintendo youtubers are panicking and acting like a meteor is about to destroy the Earth because Nintendo havent announced a big first party game in like 8 months (I believe Endless Oceans Luminous is first party but I could be wrong) If we really look at this year as a whole, Nintendo have still been keeping to roughly the same schedule as usual but because the Feb direct was a Partner Showcase people are panicked. Its very likely that Nintendo won't reveal anything remotely new until June like they usually do (even if it ends up being another Partner) this situtation has gotten out of hand because of people coming out with 'quote on quote 'legitimate' leaks and people are buying into it too easily because its been a while since the last Nintendo console and have started setting deadlines for Nintendo that were never really there in the first place.

If the console is releasing next Spring then why announce it so early? I’m sure Nintendo would easily try squeeze out one final holiday for the Switch. They don’t really need to confirm it till January

I STILL STRONGLY DOUBT about the possibility of an imminent announcement of the so-called Switch 2. I don't see that happening because as I said before multiple times already: ONLY Nintendo will tell us WHEN. Also, it is the month of May now, and all I CAN say for CERTAIN is that Nintendo is probably waiting for the next month now for their presentation of new stuff in the Nintendo Direct, whenever they feel like they're ready.

Switch 2 news and games announcements should start coming within towards the end of 2024 if anything my best guess is August or September at least some sort of news. But i believe they might announce and release more remakes for now

what if the switch 2 has a virtual console with every Nintendo game .but access to the virtual console would only be available to subscribers of the nintendo online service. premium tier of course. the service would also include games from genesis, master system, game gear, atari lynx, atari jaguar, sega saturn, and dreamcast. but this is nintendo we are talking about. if they had a virtual console with such an extensive library of games, they would sell their own proprietary sd cards. similar to the ps vita. i would like to know what everyone else thinks of this idea. would you be okay with this if it was Nintendo's business model for the virtual console?

I would say e3 but I remember seeing that it's canceled until 2026 or 7...actually I googled it & now it's supposedly gone for good. I'm sure Nintendo will still release a June direct though
