#14. Laser Engraving & Hand Routing a Sandwich Board Sign in LASERGRBL with ORTUR LM2 PRO :)

#14 ! I thought I would get some video editing done up today while waiting for Fed-Ex to show up with my new ORTUR Laser Master 2 Pro Expansion kit and 10 watt Laser I bought! Whoot! Whoot! 🥳
Fed-Ex Is Infamous for knocking once…If they even knock at all 🤪 …So I didnt want to be In the middle of Engraving or routing and miss them!
Todays video Is a continuation of Video #1 …my first video evvvveerrr! I’m Laser Engraving with my ORTUR LM 2 Pro and using it with LASERGRBL to pounce out my design. I will then be Hand routing. You’ll see later on in the video how deep I engraved down into the SPF wood using LASERGRBL’s vectorize feature with outline only turned on : 300 speed, 85% power and just 4 passes with my LU2-4 20 watt laser. (5.5 watt output) I’m able to get such clean and crisp lettering by engraving first and then going In with my Router & Dremmel tool.
I promise in my next video, I will share in more detail how I engrave larger signs that are larger than my work surface of my Engraver itself! I will also show how I design it and what settings I use in LASERGRBL. With this sign being so intricate it would have made for a looooong video! 🤷‍♀️
Now I wish I had a GOPRO camera I could strap on my chest or a Hockey Helmet! 😝An overhead camera system would even be nice to get a better view of my work surface. But truth be told I can’t afford that at the moment, and I need 1000 subscribers for CZcams to share the wealth and pay me for my content they shove advertisements in to!
