actually I saw LulaRoe products at a pop up store in the middle of the mall. After looking at their products I have found that their products are made of incredibly inferior fabric and is entirely overpriced for the poor quality of fabric used. Utter garbage IMO

how I found this side of the internet, I have no clue. Perhaps it's because I can spot a scam a million miles away. Amway and lula roe are pyramid schemes. The fact that lula roe isn't in the better business bureau is very telling. Amway was found by federal court to be a pyramid scheme. Lula roe will see lawsuits shortly.

LLR just got slapped with a federal class action lawsuit for charging & collecting illegal sales tax and not submitting the money to the appropriate authorizating entity. This lawsuit has the potential to shut the entire company down, as damages & legal fees could be HUGE. LLR knew about the illegal sales tax issue for a very long time & did nothing about it. I would guess that they also held the tax money in an interest bearing account, which is also illegal. I'll be keeping my eye on this one. It won't be long before LLR is sued by consultants over the employee vs. independent contractor thing. When an "independent contractor" is controlled by a parent company as far as HOW they can do their job, WHERE they can do their job, WHAT payment method they can utilize, etc. it is a slippery slope as far as employee vs. independent contractor status. Consultants have way too many rules they have to follow to sell the clothing that are set forth by LLR----when you can't choose the patterns on any of the clothing you order, when you can't sell any other way but in pop-ups, on Facebook & Periscope, when you can't accept any other method of payment besides their proprietary "Audrey" system, when you have to join under somebody else---there is an argument that the consultants are really employees of LLR. That lawsuit will be coming, make my words.

SummerGalLongIsland unfortunately I agree. while I still love lularoe clothing and wear them on a daily, I am no longer a consultant. the business aspect turned out to not be as wonderful as I once thought. I am now a My Amelia James consultant and the freedom to run my business how I see fit makes a HUGE difference.

LLR's purpose was one thing, and one thing only---to make the owners rich. And they accomplished that by purchasing cheap clothing, selling it for retail prices to "consultants", and then convincing those consultants that they could get twice what they paid for the clothing by reselling them. The class action lawsuit over the sales tax issues has the potential for major damages & legal fees, which could cause a significant dent in LLR's profits. I read the complaint, and it alleges that LLR collected illegal sales tax for MANY, MANY transactions & never paid the sales tax they collected to any of the taxing authorities that they were supposed to----they kept that money in an interest bearing account, which is totally illegal. They knew what they were doing & continued to do it until they got snagged----there were numerous complaints about the sales tax issues that LLR did not address immediately, and that is an issue that should have been addressed immediately. I think now LLR is going to have difficulty getting as many consultants as they did before, as negative things are now circulating around the internet. Some consultants think the lawsuit is just a "bump in the road" & are still convinced that they are going to strike it rich selling LLR. The fact that out of over 100,000 consultants only 3,000 consultants "cruise qualified" for the 2017 cruise speaks VOLUMES about the business. The things LLR did were totally unprofessional & wouldn't go on in a legitimate business---like abruptly changing the on boarding package that omitted any leggings & screwing all of the people waiting in line to get their call to onboard. The owners of LLT couldn't care less about the consultants---all they care about is that the consultants place their orders & buy inventory.
