Just the technical aspect of recording everyone and having everyone hear the right stuff blows my mind
I never thought anyone could give justice to the original- to me, it is a masterpiece, and one of my favorite pieces of all time... And three minutes in this cover had me crying. The chorus, build-ups, harmonies, and instruments all working together create the sense of wonder and celebration the original song brought to us. Instantly subscribed.
.....maybe Punch Brothers should produce a big band album with you all......

As a 20 year instrumental music teacher in the LA schools-elementary middle and high school-and a huge Punch Brothers fan I love love love love this! Absolute genius arrangement! Great parts for everyone wonderful vocals-even a tasty bassoon solo! The instrumental Interlude before the last chorus was absolutely fantastic! Bravo to everyone and to your music teachers!

Love it. I have watched some of your other videos but this one seemed to exhibit the pure joy that music can bring to a person's life. The arrangement allowed for everyone to become involved in the process and that really helped keeping the mojo. Chris Thile said one time, and I paraphrase, that his music and playing had been described as using "too many notes." You had just enough people to play all the notes, and damn it is beautiful. I love Punch Brothers, so glad to see y'all do them justice.
