How there are still more mousetrap designs that are unique and effective.
How Shawn still has any mice on his property at all anymore.
believe me they will never be gone
Unless he has a small team of cats, those rodents will never be fully gone.
He feeds them well
1. Mice and rats are everywhere.
2. The most common moustrap is severly flawed.
3. Every guy with a bit of engineering streak tries his own solution.
4. Then you realize how many of these solutions there are...
He has a huge property, and I believe hes gone to friends and or neighbors several times to test some of his stuff

That Starling sounded more like a coyote than a coyote.
Plot twist: Most coyotes howling in the desert are actually starlings pretending to be coyoytes :D
Raccoons don't make a lot of saliva, they normally dip their food in water for that reason.
So they don't have those glands to make saliva?
"Go choke on a mouse" is going to be my go-to insult now.

Somebody said this a while ago, but it's worth repeating... There should be a horror story called "Shawn's Barn," told from the perspective of the mice trying to get some food without getting trapped/killed, jigsaw style.

I didn't even get the notification for this one. Good thing it was in my recommended or I would have missed it.
Those live catch traps make quite a lot of sense in there, having those native mice competing with invasive ones. I remember someone making a image recognizing cat door (webcam, IR illumination and a computer) to allow access only for their own cat. Maybe some kind of sorting device, release the native species and capture the invasive species. Operating continuously that might start eating out the non-domestic ones.
