Don't mean to be the old fart in the comment section..... I was doing full wraps with words and logos that had to be level on winston cup cars and the car haulers, befor the air release tech. Now any swinging tool bag can look like a hero.
yep no skill required
I used to cut down trees with an axe, now any fool with a chainsaw can do it.
I doubt most people could do this perfectly, even after this beautiful presentation.
That is why people that could build a 200mph cup car brought them to us back then. Now alot is done in house
I was sending messages to people on foot, sometimes on horseback riding for days between cities. Now any fool with a phone can look like the pony express.
The one thing I admire about this guy is that he stated that he doesn't turn down a job after three shops turned the customer down. He found a way and did quality work. Good video bro.
Yeah, what sucks is I have this truck and will be attempting to do my lights myself.
@@Cliffhanger_MFC just take your time with it and be patient. Make sure to yous a good brand like Vvivid
@@moe1547 I took my time driving to Atlanta Custom Wraps and had them do it 😂
And on top of that, low-key says “be done in 45 minutes”
“I’m not saying I’m a master”...are you kidding me? You’re the freakin’ Yoda of wrapping.
Unbelievable work! I've watched probably 12 of your videos and have been working at tinting every reflector and light on my Mustang Mach-e with the exception of the headlights. Those I will do in a few days. I've learned as I've gone along but I feel like you've taught me a new skill that I can share with my family and friends. Thank you so much.
Thanks for all your vids! I just finished wrapping the lights on my Model S after watching your work about 20 times. A bit of a learning curve working with the material, but all your advice helps a lot and by the 3rd piece I felt like I really had the hang of it.
I also have a new respect for car designers, there's so many subtle shapes that get overlooked.
Christian, you're amazing dude!
You're the only wrapper on CZcams that I'll watch. Your knowledge and techniques are second to none! Keep up the good work brother.
Spray foam glass cleaner works really well for prepping surfaces. Much less aggressive. I'm an automotive collision painter and I'm looking to get into wraps. It's very similar steps to prepping cleaning and masking a car for paint. Love these videos, its giving me the extra nudge to git it a try.
Love the quality work!.. it’s so stressful dealing with shops who don’t care.
Best video yet! I think I now understand the theory of no tension. Anchor to the body before stretching and make sure you have extra product around the edges to release.
Just finished doing my 2022 F150 Powerboost. Your video saved my ass and a shit load of money. Took me 3 times to do the first light….the key being heat control and not over stretching. It’s not an easy headlight to do but watching how you handled the lifted plastic for the turn signals was 100% “stone cold” helpful. BTW..you are a master at this but more important an excellent teacher.
You're like a surgeon with that blade. Awesome job!
I just bought the Vivid hex dark tint for my headlights and tail lights for my 2020 F 150 and I am so glad that you did this truck to help me.
I like this dudes wrap tint videos, he's really graphic, thorough and Smoove... I don't have any experience, but was able to do a pretty good job on my second try I admit, it takes mad practice and technique..but yea, anyone can do it if they really want too...great video vivid wrap dude!
Dude ur the man. I’ve gotten so many ideas for my 2018 f150. Didn’t even know about wrapping until I watched ur videos. Keep it up brutha!!!!
Thank you so much for your video! It helped alot, I just finished wrapping my husband's truck lights and surprised him with it. 😊
Man, that is crazy how good it looks! I am genuinely impressed!
"Is it legal?... nope."
LOL, nicely done bro.
Arkast off road use of course 😂
In that jurisdiction, he's way more likely to be ticketed for the license plate cover (a lot of people in that province put covers on, even clear ones, to protect their reg plates as they are made with the durability of tissue paper in a light drizzle, yet, clear plates are contrary to the HTA/obstructing view of plate: $100 ticket, or so).
Also, he's a Firefighter. A Constable who tickets a Firefighter for something like that is a right dick.
Probably why the other shops didn’t wanna do it
@@ubosmash360 pretty sure he said it was hot in canada. therefore, not florida

Most satisfying feeling ever when your trimming with the back of the blade just gliding so smoothly
I admire anyone who has mastered their craft, no mater what the craft. Nice vid.
"Is it legal? NOPE!" Hahahahah. Story of my life.
I like people who do videos like this. I don't know why it was in my suggested video feed, but it's cool.
Thanks so much for this tutorial I was able to do my F150 with no problems. Great work as always!
Thanks for the help. That looks great. I bought all the supplies for the job from your links. If all goes well and others want me to wrap their lights ill be back for more stuff.
Wow. It looks perfect. Like it came from the factory from the end results. Excellent job
I can see am watching this 3 years later but it's still an awesome job even if it was today
Thanks for this video. Just purchased my 2020 F150 in oxford white. It was a little too shiny for me. I have done a few vinyl jobs doing lettering and such, but never did a wrap. Thought "what the hell, I can try that." Came out great. So good I decided to do the tail lights too. Truck looks great with a little less shine to it.
Very clean work bro I am about to do my bmw with light smoke but started watching your video had to watch whole thing. I will be using wet but was just interested in this. Really impressed!! Five star job right there!!
love the look of the new F150
chill vid casual DYI not scripted at all 21:31 easy to follow need more DYI's like this
You make it look easy...That's what pros do....Great job!
Main take away: I like this guys passion for what he's doing. He will succeed at anything with his attitude.
Hey bud!.. Well I'd have to say your a pro. I followed your link bought the tint followed all your steps and failed twice 😂
I'm not one to give up so will give it a 3rd try tomorrow.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for all the information and learning skills my friend. I'm doing a BMW 1 series. Mad black glitter and it's looking awesome.
Bro, watched your video when I wrapped my headlights!! Litterally ONLY video that actually gave good instructions on how to tint. Never tinted, wrapped anything in my life!! And Chevy Tahoe have same strange headlight shape as these, 5 companies in town turned me down, figured fuck it do it myself only be out $ for product!! It wasnt this video I watched, a little car was what you were doing. BUT man 3 months later still holding up, did my 3rd break light on the Tahoe and it was so easy after watching your videos!! Still having trouble with the 17 Tahoe tails, due to so much bending but think I just need to cut out bigger pieces to work!! Awesome videos man, keep it up!!🤙
When I first saw your video of tinting tail lights I went and bought some, tinted my dads suburban then my moms Durango. Then a week ago my ram. Love your videos CK!
o HITMAN14 o how hard is it would you say?
You did that bro pulled that one right off like you were doing a tutorial 💯👍
I wish I could come to Ontario & have you wrap my headlights & my cars body. You're so talented! Love your videos! 💖😘
Excellent video, Really helped out being the first time to wrapping my headlights. I hope my turns out as well as yours did. Many thanks
At first I thought this sounded dumb.. .but then I remember getting blinded a few times and I think this is awesome...Good Work by the way. Looks great.
You did a fantastic job wrapping those headlights !
I tried this on a ford and failed miserably. I tried again a couple hours later and it was much better but not perfect. Im hoping 3rd time is a charm. Great talent shown in this presentation!
3-4 shops turn it down and you nail it with ease!!! We should call you "Wrap Master C".
why would a shop turn it down?
Could be a technical thing like he said: couldn't be done well with a wet application
Could be that they didn't want to risk liability for applying illegal tint, some shops won't tint windows beyond what is road legal for the same reason.
@Villain Of Brandon, some clients actually use the '' I asked for 5%, they made it 25% at the shop'' excuse, and for the life of me I have no idea why they do it...douche move.
angel because it's illegal
@@angelvigilante82 shops turn these down because that shit pills off after a few months that and people complain. My company used to do them and clear bras and we quit two years back because the products doesn't stick to plastic good at all. We went through five manufacturing companies.
My friend you are a tint master, awesome job!
You do a great job Bro!! Looks like you are following your passion. Best of luck 👍👍
Great work CK, look amazing.
why do you not have a wooden stool, drill a hole in the middle, slightly larger than the mouthpiece of the heat gun, then you do not have to take it off the ground every time.
This is what I did, and it saves you a lot of bend work, and you have the heat gun immediately at hand.
It's just an Idea.
Keep up the good work.
this job would be a nightmare I sweat when i put my phone screen on
Dude know his craft....Looks good.
You’re a craftsman at what you do looks great
Hey man, I love watching your videos, giving me many great ideas! just got my Vvivid Smoke Vinyl Wrap to wrap Head lights and taillights, got my little cousin wanting to learn how to do this! He just started to follow your channel as well!
I tried some of that Vivid film and ripped it off after I seen how purple it looks. Terrible
i love yall alot yall inspired me to try and tint windows n made me follow my dreams love yall
I have a 2005 Nissan X-Trail with a similar bulge to the headlight. It's on the top, but now I know it is at least possible to tint it. Thanks for the video.
So before watching your video I was never a fan of tinted lights. Mostly because I always thought of just the completely blacked out ones that I almost rear end because you cant see anything from them. After seeing the vvivid light smoke application on the 18-19 f150 headlight I have a new thought of them and ordered the tint and will be giving it a try. If all goes well I will try and get a video of the 2nd light. Thank you for the video and inspiration to try some cheap mods!
I’ve learned a lot from these about to tackle my 2014 GMC Sierra headlights soon
Great job on the headlight - of course. You make it look sooo easy that anyone can do it, but you are very talented. Challenge for you, a newer Dodge Caravan Tail light in Vivvid Light Smoke, one piece.. Those are CRAZY hard...
Damn even that light tint made it look way better.. ur a master for sure
Job well done! You made it look very easy....
Wow. You sir are a wizard with anything vinyl. Absolutely incredible 😯
Really clean looking wrap on those headlights. Looks good
This stuff is great I retinted the headlights and taillights on my 13 Accord that I previously did wet, what a pain in the ass that was. I also did a set of Maxima headlights that I previously failed at with the wet app. I did all of this in about an hour and a half
just tried to tint my lights and fail xD
seeing this vids get me lots of knowledge, thanks for the vids :D
great job, that looks awesome, you make it look so easy to do
Very nice job, you make it look so easy. Keep up the good work.
Great work. Small details like this make such a big difference!
I Saw a video of you wrapping AMMO NYC's R8. Amazing work! Definitely an amazing talent you have!
Work of art bro!
I bought some of this wanting to do my headlights and taillights but was told by a friend that in PA they enforce lighting law's heavily. So instead I decided to use it on the chrome trim on my car and it actually looks amazing.
That is true, my lights are blacked out on my charger in NY, the only time I've ever gotten harassed about it is when I cross the border into PA
jhoppy18 I live in PA and i kid you not that i swear we are one of the hardest states to pass emissions and anything else car related.
don198769 pics?
*PA is an absolute ass buster when it comes to car regulations.*
don198769 they certainly do. Joey mod your headlights. Thats what i did and they turned out great. Looking differently dark from different angles
You are the best man! Thanks for sharing your skills with us!
Wow, that looks great! I love it.
I wrapped Ford Focus taillights yesterday and they had that same protrusion!
Great job. I did mine myself I use the vivid tint pretty easy to work with Just one problem I have when the light turn on it give a crock look. But I guess that's just the air release technology
WOW,Amazing Work
You did a fantastic job on this, good work. I would suggest for the future that you edit out or cover your customer's license plates.
great job and great looking truck
Why didn't I find you before I got my tints done... Damn it!
Another fantastic job done there!!!
I love your videos bro…thank you so much for sharing.
Wow! Looks great!
Challenge: 2018 toyota camry tail light.
I just did a bunch of work and had success thanks to your channel. However, nothing on your channel has prepared me for my camry's tail lights. I've failed with 2 16"×48" rolls of this tint. Thank you for the vids man! You do great work. Please take the challenge and post a video!
I'm impressed.
Nice job. Best one I've seen yet
Amazing work
Incredible job dude!!!!!
This vid gave me a great idea 😎 I'm going to put limo tint on my rear view and both side mirrors. 🌕🌓🌒🌑
"Is it legal?" 'NOPE' lol thanks for adding this in. A lot of people lie or are just uninformed, I've noticed, and it's much better to know ahead of time than to trust someone just trying to make a buck.
Looks really good
Reading CZcams comments is better than most best sellers.
Awesome job. Looks great
Looks great! Good work.
Damn Bro much props to you, this job got my like and subscription. Amazing and Clean job, from the zoomed out position it looked iffy, however once you shower the up close finished job, it was one of the most cleanest I have seen to date. This was done perfect and the outcome looked OE, wouldnt even know any film was applied. Great Job and much Success in you business, any customer would be crazy not to go to you.
Meticulous install! Beautiful done!
You’re a beast my man, good job!
24:55 He won't get pulled over since he's a firefighter lmao
Absolute legend!
Once again you make it look so easy!!! Great Job!!!
great presentation. great attitude. subscribed.
Perfect job...
Love your content man, keep it coming.
Awesome work!
I bought the dark smoke from Vvivid and that turned our way way too dark lol. Gonna probably do this light smoke. Looks perfect
Looks oem 🤷♂️ you’re a master 🔥
