Fishy Green Ale, Alcoholic Butterbeer & Wand Hunting

- We went to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood to try out the new drink: Fishy Green Ale! This drink is described as a creamy mint drink with cinnamon notes and tasty blueberry “fish eggs”. This drink has been at Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Orlando and has finally made it's way over to Hollywood at Three Broomsticks. To our surprise, we both liked this drink way more than we expected! Fishy Green Ale is $6.99 & PRO TIP: Get a shot of Fireball Whiskey (or whatever hard alcohol you enjoy most) and add it to the drink!
We also tried frozen Butterbeer (our most favorite themed wizard drink EVER) and added a shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey, it was very delicious. Have you ever tried alcoholic Butterbeer? We then went on Kitra's favorite ride at Universal Studios Hollywood, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and played around with our wizard wand! Who's wand do you want??

I’d definitely want Newt or Theseus Scmander’s wands... I love the simplicity of those two! 😍
I'm definitely more inclined to the original wands. It makes me feel like I'm part of the universe itself, rather than using someone else's wand. (Although, if you want to go to the wizarding dark side, you could say you stole it from whoever it originally belonged to!) I already have an original wand from Alivan's for my everyday spell-casting (cherry with dragon heartstring), so if I went to the Wizarding World, I would either go to Gregorovich's in Orlando, or I would get Neville Longbottom's wand. I love his growth throughout the series, and his wand looks very elegant.
Don’t worry about wanting a Deatheater wand. Villains have all the coolest looking stuff.

I bought Lucius malfoys snake cane wand. In January when I was at universal in Florida. People got so mad I was using it as a cane.l, and playing with it. It was awesome.
You two are so much fun to "hang out" with... And WOW, $12.50 for a Fire Ball shot? The store down the street sells 10 1oz shots for $10.... Somebody's making some scratch!

Would love to see Hollywood get Diagon Alley and Hagrid's attraction. Love the idea of getting your own and using Wizarding World to figure what Wand is for you. Wonder how alcohol behaves in all the versions of butterbeer?

I just took the test, my wand is 9.5 inches long, it's elastic, made of maple wood and includes Unicorn hair. That sounds very interesting to me.

So my first time at universal was this past winter. I did not know you could get a personalized wand until after the fact. (My sister told me when I got home, after questioning me on the days events). But the wand that called out most to me was Yaxley's wand. It's awesome!
I have the Holly wand. Got it last February and had a blast.
Ok you guys are going to make me broke...lol
Now I want to go back to universal Florida it's been 6 years,but wait then there is still galaxy's edge that I can't get enough of!!!

I got Ginny's wand because we love a powerful and brave woman. Very bummed because my Pottermore wand is made of acacia wood which they don't have at olivanders. Love your videos and I love the wand you chose!

I live in Florida, recently went to Hollywood studios to see the harry potter sections. And thats honestly the only good part of the park. Not excluding a few different rides, disney definitely offers a better experience as a whole.
I got the Hermione wand at Universal Orlando a few years ago. The only reason I got that particular one is because I love the vines and leaves wrapped around it. I didn’t care for any of the non-character ones. :)

As a an adult nerd/geek, of course I love the worlds these theme parks create, but I also do enjoy “adult” stuff too and I never even thought of spiking the butter beer!
I was about to say too that a milk tea with popping boba comes out to be bout 5-6 dollars so that’s not a bad deal... lol until the booze price came up :p. But yeh theme park liquor is always like that.
Also agree, that Harry Potter ride queue almost makes me want to get stuck in a line just to look at everything!
We were thinking of heading down in April for my bday before our passes expire... but asking the experts here: When does that big Easter/spring break rush start up? We might have to sneak down earlier :/!
