We went to Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Hollywood to try out all of the food items in Toadstool Cafe, the land's only and signature restaurant. We tried everything from appetizers, salads, drinks, entrees and desserts. What are the best Super Nintendo World food items? Which ones should you avoid? Find out!

I really appreciate the menu deep dive. You aren’t just showing off the food and trying the items, you are also using your knowledge of Universal overall and putting it in context. Dietary restriction info, what’s in Japan vs the US, and you even commented on the cup designs. This is the special touch you only get with OA!
Oh, I almost forgot! My favorite character is Donkey Kong! Donkey Kong Country is my favorite video game of all time.
The Yoshi salad is TOO CUTE. 😭 My favorite character is Celeste from Animal Crossing. From the giant pink bow to her love of the stars, she is amazing. My switch is filled with photos of her and my villager watching the shooting stars. So chill. 💜
Everything is so cute on the menu!! I’m so happy that Hollywood and eventually Orlando will be getting some cutesy Japanese cafe food!! My favorite Nintendo character is Twilight Princess Link. Specifically twilight princess. 💚

Hi Peter & Kitra! Thank you for showing us the whole menu so we know to expect. My favorite Nintendo character is Rosalina because I love the way she connects to the Lumas, especially when she tells them a story.

i always love seeing all the different kinds of foods in theme parks and how they're themed to whatever land they're in. like, the super mario based foods look super cute (and delicious) and id love to try them someday.
as for my favorite nintendo character, it would have to be Aurora from Animal Crossing.

My favorite Nintendo Character is Kirby! I recently started playing the game as an adult (I know really late to the party) and I just love how cute he is and the ability to gain powers by eating things!

So excited I get to live my childhood dreams through this video ! My favorite character has to be Luigi because my sister and I grew up playing any and every Mario game that was released. In the past, we'd take turns playing levels but after we got multiplayer mode, I was designated as "Luigi" and was so beyond excited about having a character to relate to. Brings back lots of memories!

It was super nice to meet you during media/influencer day at the park! Love your guys' energy. Also the amount of detail you guys go into for the food within Toadstool Cafe is incredible. From bringing awareness on nutrition/potential vegan options, to your knowledge of Universal as a whole and even compared to the park in Japan! Never stop doing what you guys are doing!

I really like how Universal elevated the food in this area from typical bland theme park fare. And I also like that they went with bold flavors and didn't compromise and water things down for picky eaters who just want chicken fingers. That's a pretty big risk to take actually, since anyone who has ever worked in a restaurant can tell you how Karen a lot of people get when it comes to food. I hope they don't get too much grief from complainers who don't like truffle and don't like mushroom or whatever. I like that they have this cafe that is very mushroom-themed and has food very similar to what you'd find in Japan and not dumbed-down for the US parks.

I love that it's Toad's house and it seem so cozy for a theme park restaurant. For my favorite Nintendo character, I am a big fan of Midna from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Thank you @Ordinary Adventures for your reply the other day. 2hrs is definitely not enough time to see/do everything. I rolled the dice, got lucky and went yesterday, Wednesday 1/18, during the final? Technical Rehearsal before TM start day. I still have my Pass Member day reservation in about a week and a half that I’ll still go to.
I ended up up exploring, riding, and eating at Toad’s Cafe that took from opening at 10am till about 4pm. So FYI to anyone coming for the first time ever to Universal Studios Hollywood, one day will not be enough if you want to see everything in the park including Super Nintendo World.
I haven't been to Universal since I was out of High School. I love seeing places I haven't visited in a while! My kids so want to go! Looks fun! I appreciate you trying new things so I know what to expect in case we do go one day! I can't do spicy, they should really put that on the description. Those little hats are too darn cute!! Kitra you crack me up! I haven't played video games in so long, but I like Yoshi, adorable!

More chicken sandwiches out there need crisp bellpepper goodness. Hear hear! You inspired me to pick up a garlic grilled chicken sandwich up the street at Flipper's, a little local burger shop that tosses lightly grilled bellpeppers into anything you want. The best part? The paisanos in the kitchen actually spice the peppers beforehand, and they'll warn you too. - "We can throw in some bellpepper just be warned they have a bit more bite than you're used to."
