- Hi, I’m Dana and I have been a pediatric physical therapist for 25 years. You can read more about my practice at the top of my channel.

I see kids for a lot of different disabilities including developmental delay, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, genetic disorders, dystrophies, and more. I cannot give individualized medical advice on social media and you need your doctors permission to try any exercises with your child. A therapist needs to be trained in order to perform these highly skilled exercises.

I see kids for intensives in Cary, North Carolina for 1,2, or 3 weeks for 2 visits per day. We are able to show a lot of progress with our little patients and I share that to bring hope to other parents around the world. You can find booking information at the link at the top of my channel. I don’t share diagnoses or personal info of each child on my page because kids are defined by their diagnosis. It’s my philosophy and you can read more about it on my website which is linked at the top of my channel.

I'm literally crying! As the mother of a son with autism and other diagnoses, I have been through endless OT and PT appointments, along with the tests and doctor appointments. It is all about meeting a child where they are and celebrating each and every new achievement. In my opinion, those achievements mean so much more when your see how hard your child worked for it! And I am forever grateful to every therapist that ever worked with him. He is 16 years old now and no one would ever believe all the therapies he required and it's because of people like you all! You're doing God's work! Thank you!
Congratulations to you and your son, friend!👏👏👏 My son just turned 11 and is on the spectrum as well. From the time he was 3. He has made amazing strides, has his ups and downs, but his OTs and speech therapists, autism specialists, have been amazing, and some are like family now. It takes patience, love, and guidance from children, parents, and support as staff, like Dr. Dana, that give these special babies unlimited opportunities.
They are more than their diagnosis! I hope your Rockstar continues to soar in whatever he chooses to do😊!

I agree that the precious little ones are blessings as well as these amazing people working to help them become stronger... but I forgot to shout out the parents who do God's work every single day with their lil ones! It's an amazing relationship all these people get to share & its got to feel amazing when you see results along with those smiles! It's a blessing to watch & I'm so thankful you share with us! It reminds ppl like myself that there is beauty left in this world & against what sometimes seems like evidence to the contrary.. there are still great people left out there as well!
