A lot of people went crazy for this movie, then got sick of it from overexposure. Six years later, can we look back and fairly decide whether or not it holds up? Follow me - / detectivesteve
Anyone other than me realize how attractive Elsa was when she made her ice dress and redid her hair? Not trying to be weird, just asking because that was going through my head when I saw this in middle school.
Shouldn't Olaf's willingness to sacrifice himself by lighting a fire to try and save Anna have thawed the heart? I mean, that's a pretty powerful act right there, even if I hate Olaf.
While it is an act of love, Olaf is the one doing it and I believe that's why it doesn't count. Anna herself has to be the one to actually commit the act of true love, which she ultimately does by saving Elsa.
Nice use of Kingdom Hearts music at the beginning. Also, will you review Frozen 2. Also, I'd love to see you review the movie Sofia The First: Once Upon A Princess.
Aw Frozen, the bane of movie theaters everywhere. Good lord popular kids movies are the worst to clean up. Find lots of loose change though. Anyway I think some of the movie could've been better knit. For example, Hans' turn. The set up was too out of place. Maybe some hints like instead of him looking at Anna sweetly in the water, have him smirk. People could've interpreted that as him being lustful. Or when Anna gives him authority, maybe have him write a letter to his family explaining that he was able to get control of a kingdom and that he's not as worthless as they thought. Have him give angry glances to the townspeople when handing out supplies but show it as him being stressed and overwhelmed. Lastly, I do like him confronting Elsa in the tower BUT maybe one of the arrow guys has a weapon made by his kingdom and so he stops it like before but breaks it. Then Olaf or Kristoff discovers it and ties it together I don't know. Moments that in hindsight clued him to being a villain but not as obvious. Dang I got invested. Thank you for your review and yeah while Frozen got overhyped it did get things right with familial love.
“Let it go”every parents least favorite song also quick question I when you said”I almost said it”what did that mean sorry it just confused me a little bit
To be fair if I were a parent, I'd rather let them listen to "Let It Go" over "Big Butts In Can" or "Party In The USA", or pretty much every viral pop song from every teen star within the last decade. Also at least "Let It Go" isn't that godawful "Fixer Upper" song.
Have you ever heard of DreamWorks rise of the guardians ? That was based off of Guardians of child books and Jack Frost has been shipped with Elsa a Tumblr and the Internet.
So...Elsa can create a complex ice palace in seconds but can't remove snow from the village? Yeah that makes sense U-U She can control her powers easely but still think it's impossible? Geez the queen really have low self estime! I'm glad Elsa will be more confident in the sequel though. At least, she won't believed in a man she barely know and cry like a child...i hope it won't happen cause it was a bit dumb. The trolls are a little stupid, they saw a dying girl and decided to sing a song instead of helping her, it was selfish and cruel too! They also wanted to married Cristoph and her without knowing anything about Anna, it's weird! I wouldn't trust them if i knew theses creatures.
@@jamesriemer6160 I feel you, bro. I really don't want to see that wretched, overrated, and style-over-substance abomination in another KH game ever again.
@@jamesriemer6160 The real reason why it was in KH3 in the first place was because Disney got involved with the game's development. It was a big mistake on Square Enix's part to allow the Disney execs to meddle and ruin it with Disney's own greed, selfishness, bias, ignorance, laziness, and total disregard towards both quality and the fans. I hope that when they start development on KH4, they don't repeat the same error by letting the higher-ups from Disney interfere. In fact, the Disney execs must never be involved with another future KH game ever again.

Yes
This film is a personal favorite; the characters, the songs , the story, all of which makes it one of my favorite films Disney or otherwise

DETECTIVE: Hopefully the sequel explores Elsa's powers more.
FROZEN 2: XD Like that's ever gonna happen!!

Very dignified burn, your highness. Nice right hook, too!

Hi I saw you plan to have a live stream on May 5.
That sounds exciting :-)
Hope to see you stop by!
Did Steve notice Rapunzel and Flynn in the crowd?
The internet did that for me years ago.
@@TheDetectiveSteve Good to know.
This so great
Lilo and Stitch went first with the sister relationship, and Enchanted came first with the self awareness. Just saying.
The troll scene is a: BIG LIPPED ALIGATOR MOMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder how many people rented the OTHER Frozen (which is pretty damn disappointing, tbh) by mistake.
4:19 Time for the Attestupa, then.
Mind if I suggest, Quest for Camelot (1998) for a future review?
