    The 2020 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR is very fast, very stylish, very technical, and very expensive. The MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR is all of those, but what is this 208hp, 186mph monster actually like on British roads. I was lucky enough to spend a day on the Italian Stallion courtesy of those lovely people at Krazy Horse in Bury St Edmunds. The bike would certainly blow my bank balance, but would it blow my mind?

    Yup,very honest review, 1000rr is too powerful for the road, unless u go track riding more often.... I have dragster 800rr,perfect for city. This brand's service and dealer network is getting more better and bikes are getting more reliable. Proud of owning an mv. #BelieveInTimurSardarov

    Have a 800rr dragster in my garage(my son's bike) beutiful everything, after all its a italian design. It sounds awsome. Downside with it is the reliable side. There has been some trips to the dealer to fix the thing, not serious stuff, but enough to get fedup by it. But when he fires it up...my good, its music...

    There are a few very powerful naked road bikes around now. I don't guess any of them are really usable on the road to their full potential.
    So there's the Ducati Streetfighter V4, Kawasaki H2R, KTM Super Duke 1290 R, Aprilia Tuono V4, BMW S1000R, Yamaha MT10SP, even down to the Honda CB1000R and Triumph Speed Triple.
    Ignoring the price, would you rather have any of those on the road as compared to the MV ?

    It's a lovely bike, if I had the cash sloshing around in my bank account to get this type of machine I guess I'd be very tempted.
    The bit that confuses me is this bike is only really suitable for the track, as you say you can't legally use its power on the road. On the track the upright position and no fairing just seems a bit silly, you'd probably want clip ons and a fairing. So it does make me wonder who and where this bike is for.
    Maybe its place is as a piece of art in the lounge, it does look lovely. People waste a lot of cash on some modern art that in my opinion is crap to look at, this bike isn't . I could look at it all day long. I'd probably be too terrified to ride it, well at least pin the throttle !

    Nice vid Tony. Of course the bike is almost unusable on the road, and if you check out the reviews by the bike mag boys, it only truly comes to life in the 9 to 13000 rev range with absolutely nothing in the lower rev range. Top speed is of little use these days but bloody good torque, acceleration and tractability makes a great usable bike. It is one mother of a heap of money for an Italian bike of any kind and if the £27k was bursting out my pocket I could buy a fully loaded BMW S1000RR which would be far more exciting and useable. Still like it though.👍🏻👍🏻🏍🏍

      OK, I own one of these and let me tell that's BS. The bike is fast from the get go (if you have the cojones). Believe me when I tell you it's a monster under 7k. After 7k is something else completely. Don't believe these reporters that are all day driving 200+ machines. A regular guy will find the Brutale 1000RR like the millenium falcon, not everybody is Marquez or Rossi or a bike reviewer. After riding the Brutlale 1000RR you hope in any stock 1000cc super bike and they feel like 150cc scooters.

    A £27, 000 bike which is probably affordable to a lot of people can not be compared to a £100,000 Lamborghini. It is nowhere near a two wheel version of a Lamborghini. Maybe if you were comparing something like a Motogp bike that would be a more accurate comparison.

    • @mancavemoto
      @mancavemoto  Před 3 lety

      I wasn’t making the comparison on the price, as i said it was more about it being ‘flashy’ and relatively impractical (plus expensive) Making a comparison between a MotoGP bike and a Lamborghini is even more out of kilter! A MotoGP bikes engine alone costs somewhere in the region of £180,000 to £230,000. The wheels are around £3k each, and the carbon fibre used in the fairings etc is ridiculously expensive. Thankfully the FIM capped the price of the front brake kits at €70,000 though....
