They softened up the newer models. I owned a 2014 and in sport mode you had to focus on keeping your throttle arm limp and loose on bad roads. One little bump in the pavement and it would turn you into a bobble head with a snappy throttle and instant torque.

Bike that can do throttle wheelies in 3rd gear if you land it bit on the side, things can get scary, had to me once outcome was safe landing. Overall in 39 year's buying streebike, by far it's best city bike,am Kawasaki man. My Zx-14r turbocharged is my perfect cruising missile. Too bad they are retiring the old girl,I waited since 2008 and 2012 for major upgrade,I would've thought for sure they could put supercharger, latest electronics. My reason them not doind it,HEAT in the city when bike was stock, sometimes i look down see if my pants were on fire. This was reason i needed great new bike checks all boxes,Comfortable, torque, doesn't get overly hot sitting at street light.,extremely light, and for V-twin put her in sweet spot runs like inline 4. What's there not to like?

They wear out a bit quicker than other brands typically but you can't beat the 'feel'. Especially the front tire. SC1-SC2 front tire bar none the best♥ï¸

What a selection! So I tested and reviewed the Ducati streetfighter V4s a few months ago, and was blow away by just how amazing it was. I love how much MV has stepped up their game in electronics, yes there's still more to go, but it is a great improvement. I love the sound of the H2, hate the looks haha, the KTM I never really hated or loved, it just was good and that's it. The tuono was a bike I was going to get, but went with it's big (well equal engine sized) brother the RSV4 1100 Factory, but that bike is still the benchmark for supernaked bikes. For me it is between the Ducati and the MV, I want the MV Agusta Rush, or the serie oro, which says a lot being that I have several Ducati's.

I would have rather seen a test that involved commuting, some light touring, and general canyon faffing. I suppose seeing how they go around a track is not an invalid use case but if I want a track bike I'll buy a used R6. I would buy one of these for where stoplights and minivans dwell.

I own the 2020sdr, the semi active suspension tuono and the zh2. These bikes are all great and have a unique character that each other cant deliver. All are winners and bargains compared to the 20k+ club. I did try the SF but wasn't prepared to wait 9 months and blow 20k for one so the zh2 got my money. Zh2 once u add a smaller exhaust u lose the 2nd cat and save about 7kg. Noise is fantastic. So unique. Straight line acceleration has the low down of the sdr and the mid range of the tuono and the top end of the SF. Really is something special. Tuonos chassis is a masterpiece. Its a work of art that aprilia have perfected over the years and shows that even tho 25bhp down its only 0.2 of a second slower than the 200bhp brand spanking new 20k Ducati SF. The sdr now has a chassis to be be proud of. My 2019 sdr was a piece of crap. The 2020 sdr handles as well as the tuono but has the vtwin grunt and delivers its power in its own way making it a difference experience to tuono. Like comparing a fast diesel to a fast petrol. Both fast just different. 2020 is a good year for supernakeds ðŸ‘ðŸ¾
