I was lucky to see Freddie in concert twice in my life and what a truly great experience it was. A showman, entertainer, and my God what a voice. No disrespect to the other band members and to a recent film , but Freddie was Queen. I still miss him and on many occasion I shed a tear for what we have missed. John Deacon summed it up when he called it a day he said'' that there is no point carrying on without Freddie''. How so true.

You can see him just will the notes out of his guitar....that dedication and determination are not often (if at ALL) seen with all these so "cookie cutter musicians" who dare to call themselves "artists".......yeah right! THIS is how it's done........this is how you entertain your fans. Not electric drum beats and 16 women or men dancing in the background.....sorry, does not make the "cut" God Bless Freddie and the boys...haven't seen the movie yet, though it sounds like I will be disappointed. I hope not.

Recently went to a Queen + Adam Lambert concert in Amsterdam and nobody will ever be able to replace the supremely talented and legendary Freddie Mercury! Most beautiful part of the concert was when Brian May played this song on the guitar and they projected this video clip of Freddie Mercury singing Love of my life from this concert at Wembley.....such a beautiful tribute to Freddie Mercury!
Yesterday I went to the movies and watched the drama/biography "Bohemian Rhapsody" and I must say, it did give me a whole different view of Queen. Because of this biography, I start to appreciate Queen more and more. "love of my life" became one of my favorites
