You did get a giant steering wheel and bolt on AC. When I bought my 95 new, I didn’t opt for a radio. Imagine that today? No ABS, air bags, radio or AC. 😂
Soo half the reasons you gave, are the reason we all love them. Some of it is an aquired love like the leaf springs and the rust, on another note how dare you speak of the 4.0 as just a motor. The rennix engine wasn't awesome but the 4.0 high output wouldn't exist if the rennix didn't first. All love of course, keep jeep'n dude. ✌️
Is a good car , but want something way better buy and old LR Defender with the mythical 300 tdi wont go fast but can surely cross anywhere and extremely long distances.

I am more a fan of the carburated 4.2L motor, pushing 260k (never rebuilt) miles and runs like new!
My dad loves to talk about how slow his was lol. He had so much fun with his 4.2 wrangler though
