    Bloody loved the old football
    You could name a teams line up pretty much so and the grounds
    And re-act on subbutteo
    Man's game back in the good old days!

    One of the bravest diving headers you'll ever see from Mike Lyons under the swinging left foot of Norman Hunter. RIP, bites yer legs.

    Football being played the way it was meant to be played!
    I no longer live in the UK,but i think if there was a channel that devoted all of it's time(pretty much 12 to 14 hrs an day)+repeats of football from the 60's,70's,80's and early to mid 90's of all world football then they would clean up.
    How can todays contrived,packaged f##king expensive BS compare.
    .This has to be unanimous?

      Couldnt agree more...i stopped going to watch everton in 1987 after they won the league..the price was put up to 11 or 12 quid...and i couldnt afford it...so just stopped going...i dont even watch it now...when its all about the 'champions' league..thats the end

      Actually we have had some great keepers . David Harvey ( cocking up in this game ) played for Scotland as did David Stewart . David Seaman ,Nigel Martin and Paul Robinson all played for England . John Lukic is the only keeper to win the title for two different Clubs having played every game in both seasons ( Arsenal in 89 and Leeds in 92)

    • @selby16
      @selby16 Před 4 lety +5

      @@simapark I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID BUT I WAS REFERRING TO THE DON REVIE ERA, WITH ALL DUE RESPECT TO DAVID HARVEY HE WAS NOT AS GOOD AS GORDON BANKS OR PETER SHILTON THEY BOTH WOULD HAVE WALKED TO ELLAND ROAD AT THAT TIME TO PLAY FOR DON REVIE . ALL IM SAYING WAS IF THEY HAD SIGNED BANKS OR SHILTON, I THINK THEY WOULD HAVE WON MORE TROPHIES , AS IT IS FOR ME THEY ARE THE GREATEST SIDE EVER . BUT WITH BANKS OR SHILTON IN GOAL NO ONE ELSE COULD HAVE HAD AN ARGUMENT AGAINST THAT , AND THATS MY OPINION .
