Today Ernie’s prayers finally get answered, we’ve long been awaiting a catback system that is loud but still attacks drone and what AWE has cooked up here for the 2022 WRX is exactly that. Whether you go the touring or track route we’re sure you’ll enjoy them as much as we have.

Didnt really get a good sound comparison when trying to hear the awe touring..didnt hear it idle just fly bys whereas with the track edition you let us hear the full spectrum. Hopefully in the future you guys include idle sound, downshifting sound along with everything else you guys did. Appreciate the content either way boys.
This might just be the best sounding exhaust for the VB.. how bad is the exhaust leak? Everyone keeps bringing those up

This sounds amazing! I don't understand why VB WRX with awe can pop when downshifting...Ming with Axleback almost never pops when downshifting...

Sweet. Was looking at Borla, which claims no drone, but more $ than this one. Link returns 404 though.
is everything else stock on this car? The turbo sounds a bit louder than stock and it sounds like there may be aftermarket headers too? lmk! it sounds fantastic
Rest of exhaust system is all stock, the cobb stage 1 adds a few pounds of boost so that's maybe why :)
Is there *that* big of difference in the cold starts between the Track and Touring models?
I can definitely live with the drone between 21-2500 RPM with music on 10 haha. That said, I live in apartments and work at 5am…
It's a bit quieter with the touring but not by much 5-10 Dbs or so
What brand resonator are you running and can you drop a link for the resonator on the car

Do I misunderstand or are the decibel readings for the track setup barely discernable from the touring?
From this video I don't see a reason to get the touring version.
Track version sounds nicer and is barely any louder, in fact touring hit a higher peak.
Track version is cheaper and lighter too.
Touring just absolutely kills drone, but loudness wise they’re pretty close , I wouldn’t judge it by just a peak because peak noise has some chance involved in it, I’d say average the touring is about 5-10db quieter.
It's all about the Drone...touring will definitely have less drone just because of the mufflers
