Scott Parker talking a lot of sense. And Gabriel Jesus is the ultimate number 9 in the modern game, his role is about so much more than just scoring goals, and he has the intelligence to understand that by the way he plays, i.e. his continuous runs into space, the way he occupys defenders while bringing other team players into the game, and crucially they way he keeps on having a go at scoring, not giving up shooting and making runs, even when he hasn't scored for many games.. the near perfect modern number 9.

As long as Arsenal wins in this season, it doesn't matter whether Jesus scores or not. But, when they stop on the winning strike, then everybody questions his goal-scoring ability because he was brought to Arsenal to score goals, not for his movement, or work rate. He has all the freedom he needs to score a goal on this Arsenal team. He is playing every minute with high confidence. I am sure, if he doesn't score 15 goals in the PL, then Arsenal will look for another striker next season. Strikers are meant to score goals, whether they are modern or traditional.

Ok let’s slow down here. Unless City collapses, we’re gonna need at least 92 points to win
maybe even more.
This is a very young team, and we’ll be competing in at least 2 tournaments. We’re also 2-3 injuries away from a bad run with a whole World Cup about to be played and 5-7 of our starters might make a deep run in said WC
and we need to win at least 30 matches to scoop up the title. Is it possible? Of course. But I’m skeptical to call it plausible.
We’ll have to see how we handle the resumption of the league through the end of January I’d say. If we make it to Feb on top by 5 or more points, and get something out of our first match with City, then I’ll believe we can win. I’m looking forward to believing.

Every Chelsea fan seeing the lineup knew that at best we will leave this game with 1 point expect for Potter. Under Tuchel Chelsea was dominating but under Potter we cannot even possess the ball for 5 minutes. Leaving out Koulibaly Zakaria and Kovacic? Playing RLC again and Cucurella by far the two worst Chelsea players this season. Tuchel was a man who could not accept losing and was always fighting for trophy but Potter is an average English player inflated by English media who is clueless, hence playing FIFA every single freaking game and changing so many players. Potter's mindset is still Brighton, hence playing such a defensive game at home against Arsenal. Even against City Tuchel's team didn't play like this. We were 2-0 down against Liverpool last season and we ended up 2-2. Today another 90 minutes would have not brought any goal. Sacking a world class manager and bringing in an average by media inflated English coach one should be fool to expect any other result.

They played an opponent with lots of key players on the side line due to injury and a coach who is just trying to cope with a roughs and toughs of a top football club. He deserves all the accolades coming his way but on a better day he wouldn’t have gotten such a result against Chelsea.

It doesn’t matter the team it’s one game at the time regardless of the team. You have to give it your all every game regardless of who you are playing, you need to match yourself against any team.

As long as someone in the team puts the ball in the net it doesn't really matter whether Jesus scores. He does so much for the team - even though he has not scored in 9 matches he's still probably been the best player (or one of them, at least) and that's worth a lot to us.

Impressive display, exposing some problems with us (Chelsea). We can make the case of having many an injury but the fact remains that this team is far from being able to challenge for the top, as for now.

Rio, the injuries are no excuse for them to perform like that. Potter has enough quality to amass more than 2 points from possible 12. Aubameyang didn’t get a lot of help from Chelsea’s players against Arsenal.
This was a match where none of the Blues forwards were able to burst into life and put Aaron Ramsdale’s goal under any kind of pressure. When Harvetz had a clear chance to cut back for Auba, he decided to shoot tamely not once but twice.
Potter is a rookie when it comes to managing a team like Chelsea. Potter is hired to be a yes man whereas Tuchel is not. ChelseaFc is in the hands of a rookie owner and a rookie manager. We are going to a be midtable team like Man Utd, so supporters must be ready to endure it or suspend their support for now. ChelseaFc is not a try and error club since Abramovich. We hired and if you underperforming we root you out and bring another manger and abracadabra we are working magic. I don't see that happening under Boehly who wants the manager to do his yes bidding something that got Tuchel sacked. After 12 matches under yes man, Potter, we have no identity but under Tuchel after 3 matches we had an identity. If the players ganged up to have Tuchel sacked, then it has backfired on them and may be regretting it now. The quicker Boehly learns, the better for him. Man City have the money, they went for a well respected coach in the person Gaudiola. We have the money now, but went for a rookie coach. We can't wait for three years or more to play Potter football if any. Potter football is midtable football that doesn't win cups. Blimy!
