I always get teary-eyed when Jackson & Hazel quarrel. There's been too much bitterness among the boys and their close ones these days. Hazel, Chas and Paddy should sometimes just back-off. Anyways, thanks for slipping in the Betty bits in here. I adore her!

I love the angst in this show. Some people are frustrated by it, but I love drama. It's so emotional and really pulls me in. Intense!! I loved what Hazel said to Jackson. It worked ... to an extent at least. I think Jackson needs to be treated like he would have been had he not had the accident. I think that will bring some normalcy to his life. Had he acted like this in the past - you better as sure as hell believed she would have told him off just the same!
The argument that Jackson and Hazel are having is brillant! But at the same time, that can mean something bad is about to happen. When Hazel mentioned *miserable life and that Jackson needed to think just for ONCE... Other than that, I quite enjoy today's episode because people are having disagreements: Aaron and Hazel were not talking and it's funny how Paddy were yelling AAron when he's just upstairs!
When Aaron says hilarious at the end. OH YEAH.
I think this show has 20 writers, who are all writing a different story!
Thank god, someone finally said it! Honestly, this poor me wrap was getting rather old. Yes, what Jackson has been through was horrible, tragic. But he's still alive, and that's a lot more than some people can say. The question is whether he wants to waste his life moaning over it, or accept what can't be changed and do his best to move forward.
@ludwinlunatics Huh? Hazel is ALWAYS telling Jackson off. Except when she's telling someone else off. She's like an alarm that goes off every 5 minutes.
@xadam2dudex It's about Aaron & Jackson's life and people around them. That is why they are so short. They will get longer, promise you! :)
I'm liking the yelling that's been going on. I don't know why, but it makes it feel so real and makes it more impactful for me to watch.
@alwaysuseless The diagreement between hazel & Aaron at the start of the ep is the follow on from yesterday's ep where Hazel shot Aaron down in flames for telling Jackson he was letting his father down.

There seems to be some argument going on between Aaron & Hazel at the beginning of this episode that we're not privy to. It's as if there's a scene missing. What's going on?
Other than that it's the same old same old, in particular, Hazel being totally inappropriate with Jackson, who she knows is a suicidal depressive, by yelling at him about his "miserable life."
Is there anyone in Emmerdale not suffering from depression or a personality disorder? Besides Adam.

@AlanRM1000 Alan it has been. Even you are saying 'not knowing what you want' is another sympton. So the writers are showing all the states a depressive person goes through. So they did their research about it. And about getting help: we´ll see what else they show in the next episodes, maybe it will come
somehow i hate how the story is being presented now... i think the writers should have a clear mind in telling Jackson & Aarons story..not a roller coaster as this is.. like helping jackson to somehow get a medication that needs something and Aaron will give it despite the probability of risking his life... not a so grumpy Jackson... and now a hold back Aaron... if its going to be like this, itll take a century to finish the story, and we'd all be dead by then......
you know what emmerdale needs... some good ol fashion swearing... that would of made alot more of my frustration go away if hazel would of said... "so y dont u just stop and think about that just for once in your miserable FU*KING!!! life!!!..." u see, i feel much gooder just saying it myself... :) sorry i just spent the last 2 days watching the Ian and Mickey storyline and switching back to this is like disney channel after hours of watching Jackass...
@alwaysuseless Everybody responds to family and frustration differently. Jackson might be depressed, but he isn't a 12 year old. He understand that people get angry and he knows his mother makes sense. You assume that Jackson hasn't responded to Hazel's harshness in the past positively before. What might make him more depressed is if his family treats him differently than they may have in the past. I don't think Jackson's going to commit suicide because his feelings were hurt by his mother!

He was already in a bad mood (like he'd been for the past few weeks). And since Jackson and Joe came in from the bathroom, I would imagine the humiliating thing was either Joe taking care of his poop/urine or Jackson having to be washed like a baby. I know I would hate having someone else cleaning my private parts every day.
