Summary: Hazel is planning Josh's christening with military precision. Aware the day has been manufactured around him, Jackson decides that he can't go through with it. In a moment of madness and fuelled by frustration, Aaron takes control and picks Jackson up - ready to drag him to the christening. With the realisation of his actions sinking in, Aaron is forced to admit the truth to Jackson - he and Hazel have seen his diary.
It's cute how Paddy and Aaron always playfully hit each other in the arm.
I have fallen in love with this story and these characters. The writing and the acting are so impressive. Watching a couple of episodes has become the highlight of my day.
Aaron being playful with Paddy and Chas with the toy shark is so cute and loved it when Adam wolf whistled at him!
Aaron's godfather line was hilarious. lol

When Paddie gets into Dad mode with Aaron, always makes me smile and teary eyed. :)
The last scene was just gut-wrenching... The way Aaron just stormed and grabbed Jackson was like OMG is very slow motion... These three actors are simply brilliant...Aaron's frustration, Hazel's concern and Jackson's helplessness is being brilliantly portrayed... I am simply awed... Drama at its best... As everyone said, this is the best gay storyline ever to hit the screen... And must I say the moment between Chas and Paddy was very adorable... I so want a Chas and Paddy in my life...

Truth finally comes out. Hiding it was taking its toll on him. Loved Aarons imitation of Marlon Brando's Godfather. Both looked hot in suits.
Oh my GAWD it was soooooooooooo good to see my cute Adam. He's so CHARMING!!! As well as seeing Aaron in a suit.
I love Adam. As a young guy you must be very comfortable with your mate being gay to whistle at him in the streats❤️

Sorry but this story and actors don´t have a single rival among all the soaps, British and non British.
They slay time after time. It was so powerful again when Aaron started losing it and grabbing Jackson, and the tears... wow Perfection. Is Eastenders going to win it all again? Oh please
And Aaron walking around the village... heaven on Earth! Even Adam couldn´t resist it! lol
I am getting whiplash watching Jackson. I remember this storyline well, but I forgot how bad he was being.
I'm re-watching now that I vaguely recall basically what happened
it is good seeing it all again for a fresh prospective .
We also get to see Aaron grow and mature into the really good person that he is now knowing more about his past because I also got to see before he was brought back to Emmerdale .
The 1st time I only saw after he was already back .right before he met Jackson .
Now in 2016 we found out what his life was like living with his dad .

God I love Adam, how many straight guy's are comfortable at whistling out on the street at any man gay or straight. I miss the Adam/Aaron scenes, there have been very few, short and far apart for the past month's.
Aaron and Hazel need to talk to a professional about Jackson, they can not handle this alone. I can understand Aaron's frustration, when he was seeing other guy's Jackson was unhappy, when Aaron is committed to him Jackson is unhappy, I think Jackson has given up.

@sanyrub even if not a dictionary... they showed start watching this storyline from the very beginning to see the emotional ups and downs these three actors have shown to us through these brilliant characters...

I think Jackson's obnoxious, not Aaron, plus, this one minute up, next minute down stuff, episode after episode, is really getting on my nerves, don't think it's great acting or great writing, it's boring, but Aaron's part is much better & his acting is great. Screaming all the time & saying get out, every 5 minutes, & saying the apology is not good enough to Aaron, when he should be apologizing to Aaron, again, really gets on my nerves, is stupid & it's not a good storyline. I understand what the writers are trying to accomplish here, but it just doesn't cut it, very amateur, just stretching out the episodes, so they have a show.
Again, I'm no professional critic, so what do I know, & maybe they are hooking me & doing a good job, or I wouldn't be reacting so emotionally, as if I were part of the darn story. ha I don't care, Aaron doesn't deserve this treatment, continuously, even though Jackson is struggling to accept his horrible situation. The other side of me feels like telling Jackson he's a selfish jerk, and he isn't all that. His character wasn't developed enough for us to get so involved w/ him, his mother or his father, & he is a real idiot about his 2 year old brother really knowing that he's being "rude" & "insensitive" to his older brother, as if that scene even made us think that. The kid didn't even know Jackson, let alone, is he mature discerning enough to be responding the ridiculous way Jackson accuses him of. geesh!

Rewatching until 8pm episode is up! So powerful. Other gay storylines are no serious competition for these people. They shit on everybody else. Sorry but I feel it!

Tomorrow I believe the shitith will hit the fanith. Im scared. Jackson is barely hanging on, Aaron is barely hanging on. I have a bad feeling about what happens from here. I think Im going to go back and rewatch some earlier happier episodes :( This sucks.

@patroclus33 suicide is the selfish way out. and even though josh doesnt quite kno jackson its the fact that jackson said he wld go to the christening so he made the commitment and everyone got everything ready for jackson and he just backs out. wheelchair or not/suicidal or not it was still wrong for him not to go. plus that event is very important for josh and i think jackson let him down.

Jeez, I thought we'd watch Hazel and Aaron walking on eggshells around Jackson for the next few weeks. I do wish the show had done a better job of explaining/showing Jackson's change of mood between the last few scenes when he was suddenly depressed and didn't want to go.

@sanyrub We have our opinions. On its face, though, a claim that one show has absolutely no rivals anywhere sounds more extreme than that internationally there are a couple of other shows with very different stories but equally fine acting. Imo Emmerdale is outstanding, but it’s not Shakespeare, & in point of fact, Shakespeare did not write just tragedies. Good acting is good acting-Edwin to Anton: "You say that you love me so much. But maybe I have the feeling that it isn't true." Devastating.

I never understood why they call him Paddy. His name's Patrick, so why isn't it shortened to Patty. I suppose it's just phonetics.
@sanyrub -- umm i'm sorry but they do.... Not taking away anything from Danny and Marc because their amazing actors but like it's been mentioned Lucas/Edwin... Ferry and Raynor are great as well, really talented kids especially with the storyline they have right now, Deniz G. and Igor D(Deniz/Roman AWZ) are amazing as well, even if they're storyline has been stuck for awhile when AWZ gives them something they are gold just watch the triangle/AIDS storyline from last year, made me cry buckets

@sanyrub I have been seriously thinking about the acting on the two shows. Lucas/Edwin is not just cute, especially lately. Unless you consider dramatic &/or depressing to be the only vehicle for outstanding acting, then imo a close examination will reveal to anyone w/o that bias that the acting on GTST, especially Lucas/Edwin, is just as authentic & compelling.
As an aside, just as GTST may on rare occasion veer from realism, so Danny & Marc have veered from being gay.

Egg Cups are them cups that look like half of a full egg - it basically holds an egg in it.
I guess they are for hard boiled eggs. they sound like a fancy kitchen item that fancy people would use. Thanks.

I understand Jackson is in a horrible situation, but it's not far to Aaron or Hazel with this constant up and down, lashing out then being nice, then lashing out, it's not healthy and it's emotionally abusive to Aaron and Hazel & very selfish imo

+Suppertimepuss2 The pain and depression he must be feeling makes it easy to understand why he acts out. What happened when Chas found out about the sexual abuse? She immediately contextualized Aaron's own behavior. She understood what had moved him to lash out the way he had.

I find the acting in Lucas/Edwin just as good, although the show, GTST from the Netherlands, occasionally makes a soapy detour from reality. Thomas & Florian (French with English subs) is also excellent.

@patroclus33 Yes & no. Do we ALWAYS give soaps a pass by allowing that their chosen convention is to stretch our willingness to suspend disbelief beyond the breaking point? I'm not willing to set the bar that low. At the extreme, if all characters act like pawns in the writers' chess game and not like real people, we-or at least some of us-lose interest.

That’s not the point that Jackson couldn’t feel it. How ever you want to dress it up it was assault. Poor Jackson couldn’t even fight back. That makes the assault even worse. Can you imagine how scary that must be? To not be physically able to fight back? It must be awful.

Fun fact, Ryan Prescott who plays Jackson left acting and moved in real estate. Adam Thomas who plays Adam joined the firm a few years later.
About the time he left Emmerdale it would seem. Knowing Danny and Adam were always close in real world what do bet Danny ends up there as well. No I do not love this soap and its sexy guys.

till now I really only noticed the blue because he seems to wear it most often .
A lesson some of us can take from him is that even though he isn't wealthy the few suits he owns are tailored to fit him properly .
