This video encouraged me to give mixing Lenormand with my first divination love, playing cards, a try. Both decks are the exact same size so it worked out perfectly. I have to say that I love it and it feels so natural to combine them.Thank you so much
You're so welcome, Mary, and I agree 100% about combining systems! It's something that I started with, then got away from it to focus only on the Petit Lenormand, and now that I've returned to it, it's taken my readings and also my interest in the cards, to a new level! Playing cards are a perfect partner!

Kipper and Lenormand go together beautifully!
Way cool! I’ve not explored Kipper but I do combine a variety of other types of “symbol” decks. I think that’s probably very common though, most of which aren’t systems per se. A reader I follow introduced me to how she combines Lenormand with Mildred Payne’s Secret Pocket Oracle (so fun). And I adore the Memento Mori expansion deck. Sometimes I combine Tarot with a symbol or oracle deck (often a simple keyword oracle which is fascinating) but only with my pocket tarot decks. Again probably common so I’m not doing anything unusual. But I haven’t seen combos of Kipper with Lenormand yet. I will have to pull up your other videos on this topic! Thanks!
I have Mildred Payne's Oracle and it really is fun to use!! I don't know of Memento More. I'll check it out.

I love this video! As you know, I’ve been very drawn to mixed-system spreads. I love Lenormand for it’s structure and time-tested meanings/accuracy, and how the cards all connect to impart the message. I was not drawn to Kipper just because of the images on the cards so I thought I’d give Gypsy oracle a go (no guide book with the deck so it’s been a struggle). This Card Geek deck is calling me for sure. Reminds me of the Inner Active cards, but with key words and meanings from an established system. And, as always, I appreciate how you processed this reading -very educational for me! 🙏🏻❤️🤟

Congrats on your new business expansion! How exciting!!! I have a question for you, my friend. I've been asked to perform readings at a private party. I've never done this before other than performing impromptu readings at parties and family gatherings for free. Can you shed some light on how much I should charge and how much time I should allot per person? I will be offering Lenormand readings for simple questions - no grand tableaus. Can you give me a few pointers?

When is the party? I AM curious to see how Auspicious the date is (smile).
I presume you are charging per client, as opposed to an hourly rate being paid to you by the person hiring you? If so, you could charge either $20 or $40 per person, and each Reading be between ten to twenty minutes. For example, you could charge $20 for ten minutes, or $40 for twenty minutes.
Depending on how many people are going to attend this party, as well as how many guests shall have Readings with you, you might be able to offer a client extra time, but if there are more than three people waiting for Readings with you, then let the client know you have other clients waiting, otherwise you would happily offer more time.
Also, make sure to bring business cards and use a timer. I used to use a kitchen timer, but over the last few years, I use the timer feature on the clock app on my smartphone.
I also love the fact that you are spreading the word about a lesser known card reading system. Two nights ago, I offered my very first professional Reading using the Gypsy Witch cards. Learning about Lenormand, as well as playing cards certainly made it easier for me to conduct Readings with this particular deck.

I don't think I've ever performed more than 3 private readings in a single day, so this is going to be very different for me. I'm wondering how long I can go before I feel burned-out.
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 Lisa, it was my pleasure to give you some pointers.
When I AM at Notions-N-Potions, I tend to average five to ten clients a day. When at the Moon Serpent and Bone Markets, between ten to fifteen clients per Market.
I have found that if I have had plenty of rest the night before and the day before, I can "handle" a large number of clients without feeling burned out or exhausted. Then again, your "Start Here" chapter from your first book has helped enormously with that.
I would love to meet with three private clients in a day, preferably three days a week. That would be delovely!
