Maybe I'm wrong on this (wouldn't be the first time and certainly won't be the last) but I'm not sure why not divorcing his wife is a bad thing? He obviously doesn't want to marry the other woman and the marriage is a shield so I certainly get that but he said right at the beginning that he didn't want to get married again so I'm not sure why it's an issue. My ex-wife and I were still married ten years after we split because neither of us were interested in marrying anyone else and we just didn't see the need to rush it? I'm just not sure why it matters in this instance.
