Your tutorials are the best on CZcams, and believe me I’m following many top riders. Appreciate every upload. Keep them coming
Totally agree
I agree with you, watching it ober and over again, watching from philippines
Agreed. Very good info here.
lol, I agree, and comment the same sentiment,
the top guys put out some great content, but none
of them go into exhaustive detail like Rich, which
makes the instruction very useable. There is one
guy, I'm guessing you know who I'm talking about,
that gives a little bit of info, but it's almost like he
doesn't want to give away all the details to his proprietary
tricks. lol, very sparse with those details.
Excellent, pour avoir 10/10 faudrait les vidéos en français 😅🤣😂
Nice! I’m new to dirt bikes and in my mid 40’s, I have a lot to learn. Thanks for the help.
Crazy helpful. Going to be working harder in the backyard these days. Thanks rich for the clarity and also the audio of the revs. Clutch angle cam was also really helpful. You're on another level with this and I'll be watching again to soak it all in.
The “Jerry Norton” of dirt bikes.
Great channel
It’s not easy to put physical skills into words so that others without those skills can understand. You are very good at that. Thank you!
Thank you Rich and IRC, these tutorials are invaluable.
Breaking down these techniques with slow motion video is so nice. Very good video.
Another great vid! Thank you, I look forward to working on these drills.
For Dual-Sport owners…
Two key setup items that are apparent in the video but not discussed.
1. Use a shorty clutch lever that will clear your ring and pinky fingers at full pull and requires only the use of the middle finger.
2. “High bend” handle bars set on or a little ahead of the steering stem axis. Provides more physical clearance for the rider pocket when the front tire is aloft, and better leverage at the balance point.
Thanks for adding the audio 'breakdown' clips! I really appreciate it. Could be louder, but really soooo much better! :) Thanks
Awesome info! Thanks Rich and IRC!
Thanks for all this info man, it not only helps with my riding, but it lats me get seat time in the yard when I can't go to a riding park.
Thanks Rich. Again, another great vid.
Great vid Rich. You really have a knack for putting your technique into words, keep the vids coming.
Great tips Rich. I’ve already been putting some of these techniques into practice and feel more confident with my clutch control. Practice, practice, practice.
Great video! Helped me so much to handle my Yamaha XT250 in the toughest roads. Still learning
Great tutorial. Chris Birch really breaks down the clutch up wheelie technique. Instructs new riders to ride around in 2nd just compressing the suspension to get used to the feeling of it. Then sit down and get used to snapping the clutch. Then put them together to lift the front while standing. None of this is meant to take away from the great work Rich and IRC are doing. Only to further break down a single drill Rich describes while giving credit to where I learned it. Rich takes it to another level with additional drills to apply the newly learned skill.
Your wisdom is much appreciated.. thanks for sharing.
thanks for the drills!
Thanks!! I’ll definitely be working on these techniques!!
Awesome tutorial and incredible skills. Thank you so much!
I just ordered some IRC tubes & a tire to try, which I never would have had but for your videos-I’ve learned a. Lot from them.
Thanks Rich for this awesome video. Waiting for more 😀
Thanks for the great tips! I just got a bike a few months ago and your vids have helped me transfer my MTB skills to my 500xcw. I was pretty stoked to see you in Truckee at the 306 a Couple months ago. Especially after having watched your CZcams channels recently. Cheers
Great drills! Will give'm a try👍
your really hit the nail in the head with your tutorials, your words are very carefully chosen and so are the pictures, thanks a bunch and keep´em coming bro. you are a star
Enduro & Trials Israel is damn right. I'm a noob trying to see how far I can push a KLX250 EFI , so I got a weak, heavy pig of a bike. I can't get a 2T enduro bike at this point. I've watched enduro pros, tried their tips and could never lift the front wheel (usually without success) without exhausting myself fast. Today I managed to do that with little sweat thanks to your exercise around 4:20: loading the flywheel, compress suspension, quick release to friction point, wow! And all that from a static position, no momentum! Thanks a million! This is the door that will finally allow me access to lots of other techniques. You are my hero!
The slo-mo and simultaneous clutch angle cam are incredibly helpful! As a new rider, I've been trying to figure how to get this timing down but struggling to figure out when to drop the clutch relative to compressing the suspension.
You are such a great teacher! Few know how to break things down conceptually and then demonstrate with practical drills. Thank you Rich!!
Faantastic...as always! Thank you for your super helpful instruction!
Extraordinary tips, right to the point. Thank you.
you got best tutorials! i have learned so much from these videos, thank u!
Really good drills Rich. Thank you.

What a great teacher. Passionate, in-depth, Not full of yourself. Great stuff brother, Keep up the good work!. From a profesional coach in a completely different field and an avid rider trying to get better my riding
Thanks for these vids. 🙏✊✌
Love your videos I am a long-time rider of 70 now and have a good kid that wants to learn to ride (newbie)and I need the refresher course. It has been many years since my last ride. Restoring an xl250s for my rig. Going to be using all your info Thanks
The static wheelie breaks the barrier. I have been struggling with wheelies, pivot turns and the like. Just go for it is the best advice. If a 13 year old can do it at 75 I should be more than capable. Thanks again for the great advice.
Your 💯 correct. Getting down balance point or “static” wheelie as your called definitely breaks the barrier. I call it getting the fear out.
Love the tips-thank you!
Congratulations! Your videos are the best!
Excellent explanation. Thanks
Best on the tube. Thanks.
Heading off to Romania really like your delivery and explanations will be applying as many techniques as I can👍
Wonderful information. TY!
watched this 5x, great stuff, excellent knowledge and motivation

I really appreciate this videos!!! You are great!!! Thanks from Spain. You have a new follower......
Thank you Rick!
Great video!
Now that you have treated us to a close up video of your clutch finger, Would you show us your techniques using three takes at the same ti.e? Clutch, accelerator a full view from the right so we can see coordination with rear brake.
A lot to ask, I know, but you would be the first to post videos this way.
Thanks again for the great up to the point technical very instructional videos.
Saludos!
Thanks a lot for the info.. Good for i (newbies) to learning ... Thanks again!!.
Damn....Your good......really good can't thank you enough.
Good info. Great articulate presentation. I will give your tips a try and if unsuccessful I will ride my ATV.
Thank you for your excellent advice
Thanks for sharing this.
Awesome video.
Thx a lot. Will try to repeat.
You sir are a great teacher
Love these videos
Splendid, squire.
Are you actually pulling on the bars at all when you pop your front wheel up? Or relying 100 percent on suspension and clutch to get up?
Great job thanks
really good stuff
Excellent thank you.
Hmmmmm ... might have to subscribe.
Great info well explained, thank you!
Very good video .... I'm gonna try and improve my skills here... Not looking to be Jarvis but need to get a little better at my riding.
Excellent - Topic and great Video > Brav
great videos
carry on with them ;-)
Sweet video
Love that second drill i think that drill will pay most dividends in real life trail riding/enduro!iam a beginner an that will definitely be my go to drill!
I wish youtube was so developed when I was riding. I really could have used many of the tutorials. In case anyone watching is young and impatient as I was when riding, take time, slow down, and give focus time to each individual skill. Took me way to long in life to learn the importance of fine tuning the nuances of whatever I am doing.
Stay safe and have fun everyone!
Excellent.
Awesome video. I recently broke my arm whiskey throttling over a tractor tire after making it over the first row of tires. The first row bucked me off balance because I had no idea what I was doing. Who has some throttle control tips? How do you move you body forward and backward while standing up without twisting that throttle on accident??
Grip the bike with your legs rather than gripping the bars. I tend to use the sides of my knees as somewhat of an anchor point and move my body based off that
I really love your channel man, thank you for your explanations, hey I wanted to ask you, I'm a new rider and just bought a 2021 yahama yz250fx and I want to learn how to wheelie going slow, what gear should be the best, first or second, thanks.
Thanks a lot !
Great video and practice drills! Will they come with a clutch set for replacement ? :P
You're always preaching what I need to hear. These videos are gold and the best out there. Thanks a million, Rich!!!
Glad you like them!
Thanks all your tutorials. Can you show us what is going on with the throttle hand when doing practices, how to grip etc. Thanks
Thanks for share this skills!
I am from Brazil and don't speak English fluently.
Here we don't have good hard endure pilot's.
Iff we have, they don't share that..
So thanks a lot four that...and keep posting yours videos
🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝👏👏👏👏🤙from Portugal 🇵🇹 thanks for all this information!
great channel. greetings from Poland 👍😁
🇵🇱
Years ago, this is how I taught both of my boys how to use the clutch. With NO throttle and a slight incline, I would have them keep both feet on the ground and to use the clutch (without stalling) walk about 10 feet forward. Then let it roll back to a curb we had that was the initial stop. Also thought them the same thing when they got old enough to drive! Both can now drive anything.
You’re the best bro
Brilliant- you Da man !
Good riding skill exercises even for street only riders. Many don't know how to control their bikes on a steep incline paved road. They spend their riding time going straight and turning right or left onto the next next road only to go straight down the road once again.
Great video tutorial and I learn a lot. One question though, how can I avoid burning my clutch in using and practicing this technique?
I really like these drills. Wish my bike wasn't broken so I can try these out.
Best tutorial ever
Dude, you’re a wizard.
Good video! If you practice this a lot, you might want to change your transmission oil a little more often.
I've been sharing your tips and videos with my 13 year old son. No he doesn't ride hard enduro but he does ride some pretty tuff single track here in East Tennessee. The videos seems to help more than my advice because what does dad know? lol Thanks again man!
That is awesome! Glad to hear it!
Huge thanks from faraway😁🤟
You are very helpful and I cant believe the stuff you do on a bike, I was out today practicing the middle finger clutch technique doing the front tire lift. It felt like I couldn't hold on to the bike without all 5 fingers on the grip, I practiced the slight throttle raise and the clutch drop seated just to get used to the feeling. When you do it standing are you holding on to the bikes with your legs or does your left hand grip just get better with time and practice?
