WE'RE BACK
Finally. Mondays are good again
AWESOME! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Hobby holes are TIGHT
Let's go!!!!!
I missed this so bad
to answer the question posed in the title: yes
Thank you!! Also, Manuel Neuer is also my favorite Goalkeeper. It started I thought he looked like Tobey Maguire, but he genuinely played amazingly too.
Just what was that edging analogy, dude? You almost convinced me to give football there for a bit and then you blew it 😂
lol that killed me
I dont at all like traditional sports but the closest thing I have to compare it is fighting game tournaments. Made all my friends from the local scenes, it is so fun to watch story lines between players develop even ones you never heard of and the cheers of crowd’s especially from tekken is so uplifting ! :D
I promise you, there are most DEFINITELY places and fans in the states for whom American Football is EVERYTHING.
Particularly in the south/southeast, and ESPECIALLY in Texas- much of their whole way of life revolves around it.
~_~
sorry I think i meant even at a small level, like yeah for sure a big team can meant a lot to people in the NFL, but if a small town had a team outside of the NFL, it wouldn't have the same level as devotion
@@rustagetwo I don't live in Texas but I'm pretty sure the football they care the most about is college-level. As in, the teams that represent the various universities in the state. It's a REALLY big deal, not just the NFL.
Yo, I thought the show might have been quietly cancelled, so glad it is back.
You can get really nerdy about the tactical side of the game when you start to understand and appreciate it. Managers are having these little chess battles through tactical tweaks and substitutions.
Dropping comment before watching to see if my mind is changed: No and low scoring sports with the incentive to fake or overplay injury is just begging to be played as lamely as possible both within its rules and in the culture, timewasting being a legitimate strategy inspired by both of those makes it hell to watch for anyone who truly wants to win. A sport should be enjoyable no matter how much a team wants to win because it has to scale to the competitive level. Im a big badminton, volleyball and basketball fan for ref.
Now I watch, glad you guys are doing a sports episode!
I do prefer Volleyball and Basketball to be fair
@@rustagetwo Me too i have finished the video now, very good discussion. I think its really funny that i chose to type up my comment ranting about football specifically not watching the video only for under 2 mins in youu said "people are gonna think we are just talking about football"
Peak
i've watched an entire down the hobby hole episode about football and still do not understand the rules of football, there is no hope for me. I will never know what this sport is.
Same here
That intro always means we're in for a great time 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That's super to hear from you, would love to see you at the anfield stadium this weekend 🏟️🌠
We're back! Hobby hole always makes My mondays better! Thanks 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
as someone who is VERY casual about Football, it's good to know that Football is EXACT the same in Brasil and England
Ah yes, another episode of Mark “I like this hobby because of Rustage” Shwabadi
I'm happy this is back
Another great Monday thanks to some hobby hole
If you want to see true sports fever look into American football for college. Shit gets wild.
Rustage you NEED to do an episode on cricket
so glad your back
SO happy you're back!
I'm really glad you guys are back! This podcast really helps brighten up my Mondays.
You’re finally back
100% the greatest sport.
The world cup match in 2022 between Argentina and France was the best game I’ve ever seen. In any sport. It was THE perfect sporting event. Never been that happy with a match outcome before in my life. And I’m not even from Argentina.
Rustage got a name for you
Edging FC
Yes, yes it is.
American Chelsea fan. Been following the club since I was 6. Chose them because my youth team wore the same color. 20 years on, I still get chills singing along with the crowds in my living room. Got to see Chelsea in person for the 1st time when they were in the US this past summer. My dream is to visit the Bridge for a game. One day
Basketball is my all time favourite sport without a doubt and soccer is cool I played it for a time but never fully got hooked by it
My favorite podcast!!! ❤❤🎉🎉 its back!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
YO, RUSTAGE. THAT GUY WHO STOLE YOUR CHIP, HE DOES THAT ALL THE TIME. LEWIS BRINDLY FROM THE YOGSCAST HAS HAD HIS CHIP STOLEN BY THE SAME GUY IM PRETTY SURE
remember watching messi score that header against united at rome 2009, been big fans ever since
Shwabadi’s orgasmic expression in the thumbnail makes so much sense now.
~_~
Were back!
So rustage loves edging
completely unrelated to anything but a Roland soong (Library of Ruina) would be kinda cool
🔥🔥🔥
Football(soccer) which ever you prefer is such a great sport, the champions league is a a very great competition. The world cup is the biggest stage for it and its very intense. The fact that it literally is a game of inches where they can miss by inches makes it so exciting when they shoot the ball. I support FC Barcelona but I dont have a local team here in Hawaii. If Hawaii had a football team I would call them Hawaii Aloha.
I can’t wait till u guys get into Gunpla talk 😁
Peak podcast
Get shwabadadi to do a cricket video
"I'm not your favourite football star, I AM Manuel Neuer" Who gets it, gets it.
From an American perspective, I think football suffers heavily from the same issues basketball and american football have, and it's vague rules that leave way too much open to interpretation. The noticeable inconsistency of officiating is offputting and makes me question the integrity of the leagues that implement these types of rules. The MLS is awful to watch because the refs don't call anything, alternatively the Premeir League is awful to watch because the refs call everything and the players milk it. And I don't think there exists a sweet spot where I'd be satisfied. I'd argue that of all the sports I mentioned, football is by far the worst at this (NBA arguably just as bad though). I still go to games, but I just outright do not enjoy it as much as basically every other sport. Honestly, it seems like most of the people at games are just there to get drunk and sing funny songs which is a better reason to go than to watch football, frankly. It doesn't really encourage me to go to games though. I've found if you actually intend on watching games, they are more enjoyable with smaller and less belligerent crowds in general.
Literally inazuma eleven
I never thought I'd ever find any sport interesting at all but Rustage always finds away
And the Goalkeeper skit was comedy gold
You guys should watch Australian football if you haven’t already
Its tied between that and Rugby to be full honest
I want more D&D hobby hole
Ah yes, the hole is back for hobbying that we shall go down.
I did not see this coming
of course
Fun fact, Bob Marley was big into football.
Normally i'm a guy who hates sport and mostly football and would ignore everything that has to do with it... but the podcast were funny
We need another season of only anime quiz
It's coming :)
@@rustagetwo ☺️
Yes it is
Hockey is the adhd sport, moves quick and i like that
You need to get tekking101 and also love all your dnds
UP THE DONS
As someone who only started following soccer 2 years ago and in that time has seen their team fall to pieces and just the other night get stomped by Messi, yes it the greatest sport. Even watching the tragic downfall of the New England Revolution has been an incredible experience. I just wish I grew up playing.
Immaculate review Mr. Greene, now edit the word "soccer" to FOOTBALL or I'll expose your middle name in the comments.
Football is the greatest sport in the world, thanks for referring to soccer as soccer 👍
It’s football not soccer
@@prakharnayyar8935BRENNER
Did not peg him as revolution fan.
Thank God ik wat football is in British lol I would've never pressed on this if it was American football
Yes it is the greatest sport no debate
Cricket & Tennis are also amazing sports but it’s Football by far as the greatest sport. It’s tied as my favourite sport with Tennis. There isn’t much better than a PEAK Football match other than maybe a really good thriller 5 set match in Tennis, Argentina vs France in the WC2022 was what got me into Football
Cricket was once that but supporting the Pakistan Cricket Team is A LOT of inconsistency & ups & downs & it isn’t good for my mental health. I’m an idiot for this cuz I support Spurs in football & that’s similarly inconsistent but even if we lose, I can still be happy cuz we play in a fun way.
Atleast you Called it Football and not Soccer only weirdos say Soccer
Ewww brighton
no views in 31 seconds you really fell off
Also, I need a @markgoldbridge & @shwabadi meetup to discuss solihull Moors
Love how you used Briggs as an example of an american opinion
The answer is no, for the same reason it aint Basket- or Volleyball: cant really hurt your opponents. The best sport in the world is either Handball or Jugger. But as for football - St. Pauli best club in the world ! A trip to Hamburg to see a Pauli game can be cheaper than going to a premier league game.
