This isn't just on Ben Simmons but Tobias Harris is to blame as well. Both of them got to go. You don't package them together but trade them separately to different teams and get a disgruntled star and if you can get picks to continue "The Process" in Philly. I would trade Simmons for CJ McCollum like Stephen A said and I would trade Tobias Harris for Russell Westbrook cause he can't win with Bradley Beal and give Embiid a backcourt of Westbrook and McCollum and to replace Harris 's position at forward you get a young forward you can develop in the draft or by trade and this team can win a chip

I never agree with Stephen A. Smith but i HONESTLY agree with him when he said they should trade Ben Simmons for Portland CJ McCollum. It would actually be perfect for BOTH teams. Portland has too much shooting and need more defense and driving inside type of player while Philly needed a playmaker/iso guard who can score and be clutch to complement Joel Embiid. I think BOTH teams get this done. Win win for both cities.
Simmons dont need to shoot in the Trailblazers offense with all the shooting around him while he just plays defense and drives the ball inside.
CJ McCollum is now the MAN perimeter wise to complement Embiid inside force. A perfect 1-2 combo. Plus he bolsters their 3pt shooting and iso capabilities.

As a 10th grader..by MYSELF..I fixed my broken jumpshot over the course of a few months when summer started..and my form was wayyy worse than Ben’s.
This man’s sole purpose in life is to be great at basketball..he gets paid millions to do it..he has some of the greatest shooting coaches on planet earth available to him..He either doesn’t care or he’s incapable of making that adjustment..either way, it’s inexcusable
The Sixers really started rebuilding in 2013 and called it the Process and 7-8 years later still haven’t made a conference finals 😂
And they didn’t have to face their usual rivals the Celtics, Raps or Bucks this year to get there but they choke.

Simmons reminds me of what happened to Nick Anderson in Game 1 of the 1995 NBA Finals. His Orlando Magic vs the Houston Rockets. Anderson in the final minute had 4 free throws attempts. He hits anyone of them, his Magic win Game 1, but he misses all 4 and Kenny Smith (Yes, that Kenny Smith who works for TNT) hits the tying three to send it in OT and the Rockets win in OT. Anderson was never the same player after that. Like Anderson, Simmons confidence is gone and Philly is the one of the worst places to be when that happens.
That McCollum for Simmons deal actually makes a whole lot of sense. Gives Philly a perimeter scorer they need and Portland the defense and size they desperately need. If Portland could land Simmons to play on the perimeter with Covington and then a PF who can score next to Nurkic they would be one of the best teams in the West.
Sizers wouldn’t even trade Ben for Harden what makes you think they’ll do it for McCollum lmfao.

Simmons requires too much work at this point. You have to repair his confidence, teach him how to shoot 3's, jump shots and also shoot Free Throws and also learn a new position. A team like the Magic makes sense but not a playoff contender.
