To new players as myself I just record a Master Ninja rank with these stats:
- Time: 14:04
- Enemies killed: 71
- Essence: 10.203
- Karma: 435.912

I think that if you can defeat the hidden rooms with 11 red ninjas AND THE THREE ENEMIES IN THE CORNER RIGHT AFTER you can do it
I completed MN on Black a few years ago. However when I found out you don't get the lunar in Sigma I thought the level was going to be impossible. What changed it was mindset. before if I saw black or red ninjas I would panic and pray I kill them before they kill me. Your comment on waiting for them to do something and then reacting is what made this level possible. That tiny room with 9-12 ninjas was still a pain, but doable, and once I reached the save statue I knew I had MN in the bag

At 1.40 how dude how do you do it every time to me they do something else this by far the most annoying part of this stage. great video
You have to be very fast on the >Y input to catch the ninja out of the cut scene, takes a bit of practice but after a while you'll get it every time.
Same for me also, this to used be basically a 50/50 gamble whether or not was going to beat the cliff fight within the timer, until learning the >Y on rear guy strat that gives plenty of time to find some way of ending the other guy quick enough. Takes some practice but can confirm this also works on Σ+ (unlike the jump back shuriken into full charge UT to get 2 UTs in the first fight)
I only have 4 challenges to finish on MN but I didn't bother with a MN run yet. I find chapter I the hardest challenge of the game
Are the any specific ways to prevent or reduce the odds of Murai to grab or throw you? Regardless of what attack/string I'm attempting, it can just pop over into Murai's throwing animation without any (to me)visible cue. Awesome MN series 🔥
The longer you stay near him the more likely he is to grab, especially after you block his strings. Generally speaking you only every want to be near Murai when you can hit him and then back off to create another opening.

Can someone please tell me where I get the items he has like the armor of speed and armor of intelligence and so on. I can't find any information on them online

In 15:31 everytime when I do that move he grabbed me..
You have to have essence around for it to work in Sigma. The move doesn't have armour in Sigma.

I actually got to Murai with a single small elixir left. I was nervous i would have to restart, but i ended up scraping by and even got my master ninja rank. Chapter 2 is so much easier compared to this, one mistake here and you're deleted. Those red ninjas do not play around.
maybe you could try recording the fight than recording your voice over to explain that way you can slow down or pause the video to show examples better.cause i know master ninja is hard and commentating at the same time your talking really fast
Can you reload saved checkpoints and get master ninja still or does it have to be done a full chapter at once
It does stack so it doesn't all have to be done in one continuous run.
master ninja is really 90% patience and 10% skill. But don’t try it if you don’t have the 10% skill.

That really depends on how you want to play, for instance check the style of play in this video compared to the recent 100% run. One is me playing in a very specific way to deliberately slow things down to make it easier for a new player to understand and constantly explaining what is going on. The other is me just playing without any care other than having fun and they look extremely different.
@@JayTB123 I meant within context of it being your first MN run of course.
@@jateenkasan6351 Hopefully the progression of these series will help with that aspect. Normal and Hard can be somewhat brute forced due to the high item limit and lack of top tier enemies early on, VH and MN really require knowledge of things like wind run, guard breaks, punishment windows and enemy a.i. recognition. By the time people arrive at this point I hope they have enough of an understanding of those things to where they won't feel so over whelmed.
Chapter 1 VH is no push over but compared to MN I think it's much easier due the ability to one shot Vigoorian ninjas, Flame ninjas are savage when thrown at you the way this chapter does.
@@JayTB123 yeah 100% true. Its the hallmark of ng (04,black,sigma). As you progress through the difficulties you can see your skills improving over time and you keep playing until you reach perfection.
We may never see another NG game like this again
Where is the inazuma spell on master ninja?
How do you unlock "armor of power", "armor of speed" etc? I've completed the game on very hard, but I don't seem to have those. Also, Rachel never seem to find any glasses, lol.
Mission mode
I want to know about the glasses as well lol I've finished mission mode on Normal and I don't have any, I'm guessing it might have something to do with Rachel's survival
@@nelsondavid5510 nah did u do all of the missions? Maybe u just didn’t unlock those missions yet bc I got Rachel’s glasses from some of the later missions on normal
@@Moe2479 Yeah, I finished all mission normal and some of them on hard plus story mission on master ninja
I do not like the fact that the outfits have these modifiers. There is literally no reason not to use the Grip of Murder one. I completed my master ninja run with it + Azure Helmet and Armlet of the Sun mostly. Probably could have done it without regardless, just like I did in NGB. But I was dreading that stadium challenge in chapter 15 (120 Berserkers) which is much harder than in Black. I went with that set up just because of that. And I still did not manage to beat it, because I am just not consistent enough at countering them for an hour. And that constant lava pit attack is annoying. Besides that dreadful optional challenge, it was all fine.
There is a video on my channel for that challenge both with and without equipment if you want to take a look. Equipment is fun in this game but it is seriously over powered, it basically turns MN mode into normal mode but with different enemies. Reminds me of HP1 in that regard.
It would be cool if you could select the costumes and just turn off their buffs.
@@JayTB123 yeah, thanks. I still can take on a group of berserkers, even with that annoying, constant lava pit. But I mean 3 at most. 120 of them is definitely too much for me lol
