Man is it just me or does Genshin (and various other bosses) in the Sigma version have more armor on their attacks? I coulda sworn that generally if you took a swing at Genshin in NG2, he might dodge or parry but maybe outside of his own UT charge he generally wouldn't just armor through it. But I feel like he and Elizabet just armor through things with their combo starters more in Sigma.

3:50 a good way to dispose of the explosive arrow ninjas after the IS / Mage fight is by starting the wall jump on the left side. This way, launching a IS right after the final jump on the wall will go on the right ninja, Ryu launches 2 kunai which kills the ninja and falls back down the wall, allowing you to repeat the proces for the second ninja on the left. The one remaining is way less dangerous then. The same goes for the next trio of ninjas, kill one with the wall jump / IS trick and after that run towards the next one, jump and throw a IS. Repeat the same for the third one. Just dont throw too soon cuz you'll end up landing right on the arrow, the best way is to shoot immediately after the miss you. The archers are static, so no worries of Ryu missing the target.

I agree that RE5 is great. Despite it lacking most horror elements (a trend started by RE4 which people always seem to conveniently forget), it still had really excellent gameplay, and to this day it's tied with the Portal series for my favorite co op games of all time. I'd recommend playing 6 again. It's one of my least favorite in the series, but it does have some merit such as the ability to move while aiming and firing. The game is pretty bloated with 4 full campaigns, but I think it's a worth a playthrough to at least remember the (totally batshit) story.

Years later i revisited the series as a self proclaimed action game aficionado and found your videos... im finding so much useful tech that i had only ever done on accident as a kid. Thanks for helping me enjoy something i always loved even more!

Holy sh@t! I don’t remember if that fight was in hard or very hard, but it made me suffer back on my Xbox in Black..I should have gotten good, gotten better at the game and brought Unlabored Flawlessness. That was insane!! Liked and subscribed, after watching the wind path video I’ve already increased game knowledge from the channel. I think I have found my Ninja Gaiden combat channel to learn from to get better at the game. I just started going through master collection so this is already super clutch for the playthroughs. TLDR text dump I know, sorry about that -cheers and keep gaming!

u can do following: get up, dodge if needed, let him get on the floor with his head and then flying swallow to him into the lava, dragon sword u can do the XYXXX multipletimes until he gets his whole body up for the fireballs etc in this case u go back on the platform, again get up and dodge and do same again, this way i could beat him in a minute i spend like 4 or 5 small healpots and thats it, also works on the 2 fireworms before - when the slam u flying swallow at them + on more hit or small combo and back at the platform, ofc u need some healing for this tactic, but it makes the fights way easier and faster <3 1

Pretty ironic how most modern games hold your hand incessantly, even when they're super basic and yet the flight sim of beat 'em up / character action games has the most basic and unhelpful tutorials I've ever seen in a game! New player. Bumbled my way through the first 2 chapters and I'm stuck on the chapter 3 boss fight. This video was super helpful for basics I didn't even realize. Plan to watch some more of your tutorial videos to help. The game didn't even explain how to use the magic attacks. I ended up getting a fire attack and I kept pressing all the buttons. Eventually quit to the main menu to look at the control scheme to find out you press Y+B to use them. Complaints about not properly explaining things aside, I can see why these games, or at least the original version, are so beloved. Feels like you're fighting sentient enemies who actually want to beat you opposed to just stand around and wait for you to show off!

I don't know about the paying to upload videos on CZcams, but I'm pretty sure they will go down more the route of locking content behind paywalls like watching videos/streams in higher resolutions. They already started doing this with the high bitrate variants of videos and obviously a part of the running costs CZcams will always face is how much bandwidth they use per user

The thing with Fiend Murai is that he's basically the same as the Murai from chapter 1, but flashier and more punishing. If you keep yourself calm and fight him just like you did at the beginning, he won't be that challenging. Thanks a lot for this tutorial series, the first couple chapters really helped me get to grips with the combat and what's important and what I should watch out for. Around chapter 10 or so I gotten everything I needed out of learning the combat and I've only used the videos to figure out where I was supposed to go when I got lost. I'm hyped to try Sigma 2.

I've been doing a thing where every time I beat a chapter or two I look back on this guide and in some cases look at earlier levels in NG Black to see what's different, and when I saw the cat fiends early in on in Black I thought "oh, they must've removed them in Sigma for some reason" and went a good chunk of the game believing that. When the cat fiends appeared halfway through this level they jumpscared me hard

Before I played this game I heard that the Rachel missions are one of the biggest offenders against this game that made it inferior to Black, but after I've played them all myself, I think the only bad thing about them is that they ruin the momentum going on with the plot. I think her gameplay is fun in a vacuum, it's fun to flip over enemy heads and charge up UTs. In a since I'd rather she were her own separate mode similar to the Vergil modes in DMC, rather than sandwiched in the middle of a great story. She was probably rushed out pretty quickly though for the sake of putting another feature on the back of the box, I'd imagine.

I thought I missed some tutorials, had a hard time getting used to the combo system and the insanely aggressive enemies xD I just got the collection yesterday, and I admittedly picked hard mode first. i thought it’d be like Hard/Son of Sparda in DMC, i was not ready 😭 gonna switch back to a normal mode run just to get my feet wet ^^

Yes this turned into a 10 minute video, this is one of those things I never think about while I'm doing it but if you want to get it consistently there is a lot to it. Practice makes better :)
