I know that the video is older now, but if you "slide the fuse through" there is a chance to damage ignition wire and then you commented that you opened it up and put fuse in... maybe that was the issue
It's not the device getting damp, rather the performance of your batteries at lower temperatures. You are doing the tests during the day, was it at the same temperature? How long was it turned on before firing it?
