    Update: For anyone considering buying this diffuser - please note fitment isn't too great in the corners and after a few months the molding tape will start to gap out/come off a little towards the top of the diffuser. It is a very cheap diffuser, mine is still on after a couple months but I am going to more than likely buy another diffuser later down the road. Would I recommend this to a friend? Probably not if you can afford to go with the actual Stillen brand diffuser this one is a copy of, or unless you are willing to screw down top side of the diffuser with your own screws.
    Thanks for watching guys! Have fun with your Q50 builds!

      CruisePunk thanks for the info man. I was considering this one but after watching this video and seeing your review, I’ll probably just bite the bullet and get the Stillen one myself.

    To anyone reading these comments, DO NOT listen to these guys and Don’t put SCREWS IN THE TOP OF YOUR BUMPER. 1. Buy a urethane diffuser for $30 dollars more and not the abs version. Use real 3m tape, not the preinstalled tape from China. . 2. Scuff the diffuser before applying the tape then use isopropyl alcohol to clean bumper. Then apply adhesion promoter to the area where the tape will touch the car. 3. Heat both then apply with solid pressure. It will hold just fine.

      So mine hasn't fallen off yet, but the 3m tape is starting to peel back a little bit in the middle top area. Sorry for the late response, didn't notice but youtube accidentally held every comment for review on this video lol. Thanks for watching!

    I installed mine but didnt use nuts and bolts.. might use some tomorrow just to keep it on the safe side. . I only used screws. Might not have been smart on my part

      Gotcha, you should be good. My main problem was the top lip part of it, I ended up taking off the diffuser because the top kept losing its adhesion and it didn't sit properly. Lasted about 4 months before it started to fall off lol. Hopefully yours stays on better than mine did!

    Hey guys, looks like the link off Amazon is currently unavailable. If you still want to try this cheap diffuser out here's pretty much the same one for the same price off Amazon. Thanks for the watch guys and have fun :)

    Maybe if you heated the ABS it would have conformed to the bumper in those corners.

      So - I actually did try that, just didn't get it on camera. Didn't notice any difference in fitment, literally heated and bent the crap out of it for a long time lol.

      Thanks! So the "a" just stands for base model haha. Honestly debating doing the skyline 350gt badge swap lol, just because I am a fan a car's real name/domestic name lol.

    What do you recommend for closing the gaps?

    • @CruisePunk
      @CruisePunk  Před 4 lety

      Honestly, it depends on how long you plan on keeping the diffuser for. Small screws would work, or if you wanted to avoid screws you can use like JB weld plastic bonder. Sorry for the late response, all these comments were held for review for some reason.

    Looks good,unfortunately the 3m tape isn’t going to hold. Not today,not tomorrow but it’s going to separate eventually. I didn’t want too but I put screws in it. I found the smallest black screws I could find and put 3 on along the top. You can only notice when your really up close

      Sorry for the late response, youtube held this comment for review for some reason and I just now noticed. The funny thing is, my diffuser is starting to come off right along the top like you said haha. Thanks the advice by the way! I might end up doing that, or I may just end up ditching the diffuser completely.

    How is it holding up so far?

    • @CruisePunk
      @CruisePunk  Před 4 lety

      It's starting to come off a little bit in the top middle. Honestly can't expect too much more from a cheap diffuser lol. I think I'll just get some stronger 3m molding tape and re-do it sometime, should be good for a few more months at least haha.
