Motorcycle or not bro, ya boy still going to be keeping up with the vids. Be safe dogg.
thank u my dude much appreciated
bullshit. gypsys prefer we call them gypsy.
@@SmallBrainedAmericanyou shook that dude hands like 10 times
Why you keep being a smart ass saying Salem malekem you know thyre not Muslim and don't say that the first guy told you and you kept saying it you should of got chin for that
Omg I absolutely loved that lady getting you to set up her security camera despite the language barrier that was hilarious 😂
Straight up a sidequest
when she saw his camera she think he is IT guy or he know how to deal with cams ..... hilarious 😂 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 poor grany
As a Bulgarian I am very impressed by how many of them knew english and at a very good level to speak with you. The guys who buy a drink are probably doing illegal business, but does not mean they are dangerous.
probably pimps in uk
Yes , it looks like😅
@@cecotup_😂😂😂
Pimps are people too😃@@cecotup_
Yeah... "good people", I laughed.
In Eastern Europe, if you don't look for trouble, there is a very low chance that you'll be in danger. If you look for trouble and danger it's going to find you. As simple as that
Exactly... We Balkan/ Eastern eu people are chill and like to enjoy life and have fun we are not troublemakers but.. We dont tolerate troublemakers either.
@@lustinlis413 how come I watched videos of vlad obu troublemaking in Romania with no consequences

That can be applied to almost everywhere mate.
I find trouble, even if i'm just minding my business.
You were openly embraced by the lady! She brought you into her home to help her! What that says about the people is priceless (well and you also). Kindness is a part of life and helping is being part of a town; beautiful.
Can not understand how you aren’t getting a much larger number of views. Great stuff.
b/c he's not a Mossad agent? (Yet?)
8:40 She bought security camera because of thieves, but she can't install it. She asked you to help her install it.
I only speak English, but that’s what I was figuring she was asking for help to install it. Wish I was there to help her with it.
Thanks for the explanation.
@@vikingsidwhat a gentelman 🙆😅
7:50 The gypsy was saying in very broken Bulgarian "Camera, camera - they steal - if they see it/to see them" Probably in reference to the security camera you helped install. As far as gypsy neighborhood go, that one was very nice. Maybe some of them even pay for their own electricity!
Y is her bulgarian broken
That part was absurd. She's saying something about the camera getting stolen and Conner just walks into her house lmfao
@@naimhdden4339 Yeah, especially with how poor her Bulgarian is she could be saying "Да видият" (too see, in reference to the security camera?) or "ако видият" (if they see, presumably connors camera?)
Either way absolutely absurd,
I think she asked his husband if he fixed it. Btw, the show on their TV was turkish
yeah I just noticed it was turkish and the guys name is osman probably theyr turkish@@K9____

thanks for watching bro
My friend is Bulgarian and I finally decided to go with him and it’s actually one of my favorite countries in Europe. Everyone is so nice there oddly enough, so many people speak English so it was easy to communicate.
Here's a guy with just the right amount of wit to have the best adventures! This channel is going to blow up, watch.
You nailed it
May the algo bless you my friend, great videos
Maaan hahaha I was so surprise, you went to my ghetto in Stara Zagora, Lozenets, brave and lucky guy!!
Great to find your channel. Scotland here and Georgia is one of my most visited States.
I love the random situations you get yourself into 🤣
A Turkish speaker here. The woman was speaking gypsy language but she was speaking Turkish with that man. And yeah he was trying to show to you her camera for fixing. As far as i know those men also can speak Turkish. The taxi driver said to selam which means hello to you.
Most of gypsies people are Christian in Bulgaria. The Muslim population are less than.
Thanks!
The taxi driver actually said ''Selam Baba'' that literarlly means Hey pops!@@SmallBrainedAmerican
She didn't speak gypsy. She spoke Bulgarian with gypsy accent. Her husband's name was Osman, and the other guy was Ali, so probably they were Muslims, and that's why they spoke Turkish.
Also, most gypsies are not exactly Christian, most of them are a part of a "Christian" cults, which names in English I don't know.
Buzludzha Monument literally looks like a James Bond villain lair. Its circular shape with a 360-degree view, allows you to better admire the world after you've just conquered it.
Even better, it looks like something Ozymandias from Watchmen would build as part of his plans to rule the world.
Love the videos!!!! If you put your mind to it you will achieve! Cant wait to see your next video!
Thanks dawgie. I’ve already made it there mentally. It’s a done deal as far as I can see 😎
America had plenty of monuments to shout “American pride.” The Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, etc
no way you said "the schools" when they said "In America some places dangerous" lmfaoo
Firearm deaths were involved in more than any other cause of child deaths in 2020 and 2021, seemed fair to me.
@@generalmartok3990 schools were not the number one place those deaths were coming from so seems like nonsense to me
Nice video. I was born in Stara Zagora and lived there for 20 years and I have never been in the gypsy hood.
I like this video, I moved myself to Bulgaria, I live in Plovdiv , i never been in these Gypsy areas- Its interesting to watch about areas i never visited. Gipsy people seems laid back calm people.
You set up their security camera!! You are an absolute LEGEND!
Yo bro the big yellow house near the playground i live there so sad i didnt see you there but if you were to go in the upper streets it would be wayy more dangerous i am glad that you're safe
Small world man! Thanks for the tip
Aww man! You literally visited my city! I wish I had the opportunity to meet you and have a beer with you, but alas!
may I ask your opinion on the idea that your city is dangerous? do you find it to be so?
@@katiefair6959 He showed the ethnical outskirt part of roma which is rumoured as dangerous, however it's mostly stereotypical. However the central part of the city can be described as calm, having a lot of straight roads, warm atmosphere/hospitality. Feel free to visit if you are not the "party" type.
Everybody should like your vids they're all awesome
The fall woods views are magnificent
Are all your videos part of the same journey? Did you make it to Japan or are you still on your way there?
Your social skills are amazing
Nah, it's just luck.
Does someone want to tell him Bulgaria wasn't part of the USSR...
Connor continuously confuses the USSR with the Soviet Bloc. He's probably seen a map showing the USSR and Eastern Europe colored in red, and it messed up his understanding forever.
He's been watching too much Bald and Bankrupt.

The coffee guy worked one hour to pay for your coffee😂
I'm not saying Bulgaria is Rich or anything, but that's minimum wage and only 10% earn minimum wage, most people make 1000€/ month which equals to 6$/H.

Nice . Im from Bulgaria i live in Boston now . Its cool see my country from this prospective haha
I gotta ask you what is your impression of gypsies? Why do they have such a bad reputation? and are you surprised at all that they were so friendly to me?
@@SmallBrainedAmerican They are good people . Its just that they have been discriminated against for a long time so you have some groups of gypsies that do commit alot crimes but usually the crime is theft 90% of the time like stealing copper or breaking into hla house and stealing stuff . I would say 50 % of the gypsies in Bulgaria live a normal life just like any other bulgarian but you do have a few gypsie ghettos like the one you visited that are run down . But i dont thing those placez danferous at all . There are alot of videos on CZcams of forigners visiting them and they usually end up drinking with the gypsies and haaving a good time haha . I would copare the situation with gypsies in bulgaria with lets say the latino or black minorities in the USA . Goverment in Bulgaria needs to do more to integrate them in and also to help them finacially , build some housing for them but bulgaria is a poor country still so thats why you have these run down villages and towns where gypsies live . But generally they are good friendly people . Hope that helped ans explauned it little bit . Safe travels and enjoy your trip !
@@SmallBrainedAmerican Hello, the bad reputation is because big portion of them (not everyone ofcourse) are kinda lazy people they dont want to work, steal from elderly people, making babies just for the paycheck and in many cases once they are grown enough they force the kids to beg or if its female even worse and etc.. As i said not everyone is like this but big majority is they are cool people for small talk but rarely you will find gipsy who you can call trusted friend most of the time they will pretent to be friendly only to have some benefit from you.
@@SmallBrainedAmerican It's 2020s not 1990s. People change, even the gypsies. Unfortunately once you got a bad reputation it stays for a long long time.
@@SmallBrainedAmerican In these kinds of videos, they will say in the comments "I'm not racist but gypsies do x, y, and z" and then in the same breath will say "I'm Bulgarian but have never been to a gypsy neighborhood". Maybe we just have to live there to see what we're missing but honestly sounds like ingrained generational ignorance.
I live in Stara Zagora. In winter time the road to Buzludzha becomes a drift track for locals
The schools joke flew over everyone's head

If the probability of being robbed in such place would be 1% per day, a tourist could most likely walk there once few hours and be fine, but a person who would go there everyday would most likely be robbed within a year (97% probability).
That building may well be the exact opposite of ornate. Cool content and very accurate channel name (love that most things are "big ass ___" and most people are "bros", maximum America in full effect)
The Monument House of the Bulgarian Communist Party (Bulgarian: Дом паметник на БКП, romanized: Dom pametnik na BKP), also known as the Buzludzha Monument (/ˈbʊzlʊdʒə/), was built on Buzludzha Peak in central Bulgaria by the Bulgarian communist government and inaugurated in 1981. It commemorated the events of 1891, when a group of socialists led by Dimitar Blagoev assembled secretly in the area to form an organized socialist movement that led to the founding of the Bulgarian Social Democratic Party, a forerunner of the Bulgarian Communist Party (itself a forerunner of the current Bulgarian Socialist Party).

I want just you to know that Gypsys are originally indians who migrated from india on Romania , Bulgaria or all kind of Balkan country.
420 like count!!! sorry I am goin have to hit the like button.
13:22 The epitome of American ignorance. Locals are born and raised their telling you not to go somewhere because they've been around it since birth but a westerner on his first trip there thinks he knows better than them, even though there's statistics that backup what the locals are saying. But we're supposed to think it's just "racism". That's the same exact logic that got the 2 Scandinavian hikers head's chopped off in Morocco when they wandered into an area locals told them not to go but they thought they knew better.
I'm local and I confirm. It is dangerous. We have some ghettos where I'm afraid to go even at daytime.
But he did prove them wrong though. Probably his charisma saved him but whatever

Appreciate the video but an American pondering over obnoxious statues and patriotism is really tone-deaf
Plot twist: Connor is really an under cover American spy.

I'm amazed they speak english this is equal to a miracle
A lot of gypsies in Bulgaria are of turkic or middle eastern ethnicity, but one of the interesting things is that a few of them actually came from India a long time ago and are actually Asians. (Edit: ancestry DNA tests have been done to a lot of gypsies in Bulgaria. A lot of them are turkish gypsies that remained in Bulgaria after the Ottoman slavery ended, but there are a lot of other romas that trace their lineage all the way to India, that's why the turkish ones speak turkish, while the Indian romas speak a language that is very similar to Hindi/Punjabi. I am not sure if Indian people know this, but I'd be really happy if somebody from India reads this, so that awareness can be spread.)
How much you end up selling the bike for? The guy seemed happy😂
Good video, but we were never part of the Soviet Union/USSR. Not sure where that confusion came from.
Ono je to kus od kusu. Já s cikány problém nemám. Znám mnoho super lidí, co jsou cikáni. Bro you need to go a plovdiv (stolipinovo) this is the real getho..... Please chek with Google maps... ❤
3:24 - 3:40 I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with this one, sir XD . Mt. Rushmore, Washington Monument, etc. ... perhaps they started as one thing and in time evolved to symbolize another, but we definitely have those types of things here in the USA. The majority of these monoliths we have have no civil functionality (i.e. hydroelectric dams, water treatment) other than to commemorate a specific person, ideal or era in American history lol.
The St Louis Arch, Willis Tower in Chicago, the Golden Gate Bridge lol the list goes on, he really is small brained
3:36 WHATTT?? You cant be serious dude... What about Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, Washington Monument... etc etc.. ;)
I saw your video on TikTok and I wanted to properly educated you. I myself am a gypsy and the term “gypsy is a racial slur the political correct term is Roma
I think it depends on the region. I grew up in a gypsy neighbourhood in Bulgaria and Roma definitely rubs people wrong at the very least, especially the older population. If alcohol is mixed in the situation you can (rarely) get your ass beaten up. Most see it as westerners dictating their way of life.
Yeah in both Bulgarian and Gypsy the word for gypsy is tsganin(циганин) but most call themselves gypsy in English.
The politically accepted word is Roma

Eastern Europe is very safe in most of their parts, especially where gypsies went outside in places like UK, Germany, France and are well off. They usually dont make trouble at home so you were lucky to stumble in such a place. Im from Romania, where the biggest population of them is and the same is here.
But if you go in sketchy places, most likely you will get picked on and robbed if you aren't careful. But i would still consider black hoods in US way more dangerous than anything Eastern Europe has to offer.
