That caboose is beautifully preserved! What a sweet presentation! Ohio has to be the most railfan friendly State I have ever been in! (Dave).

Cool video, Pappy. Nice catch of the train while showing the beautiful caboose. Do you know what that patch of grass on the concrete? It’s not the state of Ohio. It looks funny to me, like they missed a spot. 🤣. I wonder if they ever have the caboose open for public. I’d like to see the inside. Can you get your personal contact to open it briefly for me? LOL. Not sure what that patch if grass is, definitely a funny shape. Maybe just wanted a green space in the middle???? There was a sign in the window when it was open to see in side but with my eye sight I couldn't read it. And the gates were locked so I couldn't get close enough. That looks a great restoration and nicely displayed. A couple of things I read the name caboose could be from the Dutch word for a ships galley, I always wondered why you called them that and thought it must be from a log cabin or something like that, the other thing is Autoracks for construction and building supplies, I always thought they just carried automobiles so is that right or the board info wrong.
They definitely did an amazing job onthe caboose. I never thought yo look into why its called a caboose, that very interesting. And Autoracks just carry cars and trucks. The end opens up and they back it into a ramp and They drive them on and can be stacked 3 high depending on the size of the vehicle. Things like wood and dry wall would be carried on cars we call center beams, the are totally open on both sides so forklifts can load them.. appreciate you watching
@@TriGogglin I read it on one of the info boards LOL 1:34 Bottom right in the box and the info on cars says about construction and building supplies so that is wrong. I have seen video of cars being loaded also years ago I remember on our TV you or Canada had some they carried the cars vertically hood down trunk up. They must of been new from the factory with no fluids in. The center beams look a good idea for fast loading nothing like that over here.

That’s been beautifully restored, it looks like a smaller caboose, length that is. That one sign with the different type of railcars left quite a few out but I guess it got its point across. It’s a shame they did away with the caboose, the RR’s are the most greedy, unethical, companies out there, money is all the car about, keep freight moving, NO MATTER WHAT💰💰. The way the treat their employees is something else, your basically a slave that gets paid very well. Regardless cool video, looks like a nice park👍🏼😎🇺🇸
The auto racks made it look even smaller, yeah I hear horror stories from some railroad people. It's a shame, but a lot of companies are similar on the way they treat their employees.. its a nice little park with lots of traffic. Appreciate you watching Eddie
