- Finally caught a Ferromex loco. Wasn't sure if I'd ever see one in person. Caught this lash up building a train at the NS Watkins yard in Columbus Ohio. so definitely had to stick around and gaze upon it as long as I could. never know if I will ever see one again. Hope you all enjoy it, and appreciate you watching.

What a killer paint scheme! I like it! 👍
It's definitely cool, thanks Frank, never thought I'd see one this far east.. appreciate you watching
Yes! Congrats on that, love the look. I really like the new scheme too.
@@HistoricBF thanks Orange Hat guy, 🤣 been wanting one if these for ever.. but I'll take another anytime I can get one.. appreciate you stopping by and watching, be safe out there..
Congrats on your first snag of a Ferromex engine. Right in the middle of a sweet three RR lash up. Got some great shots from both sides at a few cool locations !!
@@backalleyrailroading2835 thanks Richard, yeah been dying to see one in person, and it was in a cool lash up. Glad you enjoyed it, appreciate you watching
I really like their paint scheme over all the other Class 1 RRs. So cool it stopped right in front of you. - Jason
It is a great paint scheme, but I really like the KCS southern belle, and the Iowa interstate alot, I think it's the black ad red combos that get me. I was happy I caught it building a train and got to spend some time with it. Never thought I'd see one this far east. Glad you enjoyed it, always appreciate you watching. Hope you have a great weekend Jason.
@@TriGogglin yes, if we were going ex Class 1s, I agree about the Southern Belle and SP's Black Widow. Iowa Interstate I believe is either a Class 2 or Class 3.
@@TheTrainFreak oh shoot, I forgot Iowa interstate was not a class 1.. but I don't think I'll get over KCS beeing gone for a while.. 🤣🤣
Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
For sure John, glad you enjoyed it. Appreciate you watching
Awesome goodfor you ❤👍😎
@@ccrx6700 thanks Dave, been dying to catch one. Ad couldn't believe I got to spend time with one, appreciate you watching
I caugt two of them on an oil visit avfew years ago. They show up on CSX from time to time. Good catch
Thats awesome Jerry, crazy seeing them this far east.. Definitely thought I wouldn't see one till I wet back out west. Appreciate you watching
Becky just noticed that 1832 is the same NS SD70ACC that we just got a week or two ago up here with a blank nose from a derailment repair!
Yeah looked like this one may have been involved in a crossing hit🤔. Love them ACc’s they sound mean💪🏼. EMD 710 🇺🇸💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Thats cool, good eye Becky, love the nose on those SD70s, makes them look mean and beefy.. appreciate you guys watching, Hi Becky 👋
i believe you'll see just about everything before it's all done. those locos show the wear of a life of hard work. nice catches and well done Pappy :)
@@mysticrailroad thanks Mystic, I still have some that keep eluding me, but your right ill eventually get them hope, appreciate you watching, have a great weekend
Cool those ferromex look amazing great catch thanks for sharing
@@cruiservin0212 they sure Do, was definitely cool to see it in person, so glad you enjoyed it as well. Appreciate you watching
Very cool to see Ferromex! I've watched train hopper videos where they ride on the roof of the cars on "La Bestia" train from Southern Mexico all the way to the US border. You would be surprised how beautiful that countryside is.
Bet its crazy seeing folks do that but not seen videos of of them, I'll have to look a few up. Only been in Mexico once, but it was big city, but I spent a fee months in Belize and it wad definitely amazing down there. Appreciate you watching Bill
Nice catch there Pappy
Thanks Digger, ferromex is definitely foreign power around these parts, appreciate you watching
That's awesome. Great catch
@@ANYFINISPOSSIBLE1977 thank you, glad you enjoyed it, was awesome to see it this far east.. appreciate you watching
👍👍
@@thomasharrington5369 thank you Tom, a loco checked of the bucket list, thought I'd have to back out west looking for one..
@@TriGogglin we see them all the time out here. I saw a video recently and it was mentioned that a Ferromex loco can never be the lead locomotive.
Thats cool You get to see them Tom, I don't know but maybe being a Mexican company, I would figure that may be the case, but they are a fraction, not much owned by UP I believe. I been out west several times and still never caught one, thought I never would, and one shows up in my back yard 🤣
Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤❤❤
@@VungQueMienTay very welcome, appreciate you watching, glad you enjoyed it.
good morning dear Pappy great video my friend
best greetings alberto 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
@@Imieitrenimodello thank you Alberto, it's hard for me to see this loco as it is a Mexican company and usually not this far east in the states, glad I could catch it and share it with you, always appreciate you watching
Beautiful catch and in nice sun too! Always great to see "True foreign" power! Have a Great Friday buddy! (Dave).
@@StormySkyRailProductions thanks Dave, yeah this is definitely some good foreign power. Glad you enjoyed it, appreciate you watching
@@TriGogglin you're welcome and yes indeed sure is.
Wow, talk about lucky, Ferromex is definitely rare up north, plus it stopped right in front of you. SD70ACc on the head, looks like it has a new front door on it. Here’s some locomotive knowledge for ya, the SD70ACc rebuild I believe is actually 4,500hp, more than the SD70ACe, which is 4,300hp. Cool seeing them leaser units crossing a diamond, at least I think they were. Awesome catch Pappy🪝👍🏼🇺🇸😎
Thanks Stretch, yeah love the nose on the SD70s, and you are correct they were wells Fargo leasers, was awesome seeing a true foreign loco this far north east.. appreciate you watching
Wow very cool 😎. I've never seen one but thank you for sharing awesome catch 😊
@@momandsontrainrailfans thanks Momma, I thought I'd never see one. Glad I seen it and was able to share it.. glad you enjoyed it. Appreciate you watching, HI Ray 👋 😊

@@KerleyExpress for sure Dwight, thanks buddy.. appreciate you watching, glad you liked it.
Very good catch of that ace man!
@@IsupportVehicles999 yeah that was a beast, focus was on the ferromex, was really liking the whole lash up, appreciate you watching
@@TriGogglin YW!
I bet you could not believe your eyes seeing that come into view. Great video. I wonder how it ended up so far from home in Mexico.
@@cedarcam your right about that, definitely had to do a double take, would of never thought I'd see one this far north east.. glad you enjoyed it and I could share it. Always appreciate you watching
I see Ferromex locomotives and train cars go through my Chicagoland suburb every now and then
@@tonystidham4564 that's cool, thank you, really never seen them this far north east, so that's good to know thank you, I'm at the rails in so many locations and this was a first.. appreciate this comment and you watching
