Good luck to you. I was really amazed at how much I learned in 3 months or so. You just need to commit the time to regular practice and immerse yourself as much as you can.
I don't know for sure, but I assume so. The 2nd one really helps. The biggest help is the practice conversations with instructors, but Grammarless 2 gives some advance grammar and a little more detail.
