The sad thing is she never needed the fillers. She looks amazing now. I get aging isn't easy in Hollywood but glad she is allowing herself to be herself.
I did fillers and Botox for a while but it was just too expensive. I'm 59 now and I've decided to just use the best moisturizers for my age, exercise and I try to eat right. I also quit smoking a few years ago. I feel better about myself now than I ever did in my 50s. But I don't knock anyone who does whatever they need to do to feel good about themselves.
@@cmasse64 I love your honesty. There is nothing wrong with doing what makes you feel good. However, it is addicting and imagine if money wasn't a factor it would be easy to find yourself on the other side of it. I hate how everyone is now using a filter on instagram and facebook. When did our regular faces stop being good enough? We all know we don't look like that in person so whats the point? The older I get the more appreciation I have for simply being healthy and being here!

@@AndtherewasJoy13 agree, i think all main cast members and all side cast members should be paid the same, and only the amount of lines determines in which of the two group one falls. i mean they did close to 100 episodes of the series, at some point they all contributed more or less the same content for us
@@rosanneperkins9516 in the first season, she was paid more because she was the main character, with everything revolving around her column. but as the seasons progressed, her column became less relevant (thus her being able to quit it alltogether for season 6). kim insisted with each new season and movie 1 and 2, that the other three should somehow be paid adequately, but sjp and michael patrick king bullied her
@@marykay7878SJP was an executive producer, and she was the best known actress of the series. Of course, Cattrall was in Porky’s and Mannequin, but not many other notable productions. SJP had been working in film and stage her entire life - Annie, Square Pegs, Footloose, LA Story, Ed Wood, Honeymoon in Vegas, Hocus Pocus, The First Wives Club - some more successful than others. While there have been some exceptions, like the cast of Friends negotiating as a collective, that’s not the norm. Most of the time, the star of the show earns more than the rest of the cast, especially if they have EP responsibilities and additional duties. As for the rumors of bullying by SJP, Nixon, and Davis, those haven’t been substantiated by other people on the set. In fact, other cast members like Jason Lewis (Smith Jerrod) have said it wasn’t the case. Cattrall contradicted her own claims in her Emmy acceptance speech. She’s a fine actor and Samantha was a fun part of the show, but love for a character shouldn’t overshadow other accounts of people on set or what the other accused actors recall about their time working on SATC. And now Nixon and Davis are Executive Producers for for And Just Like That, so there is parity with SJP in that respect.

It’s challenging with commenting anything about how she looks because it’s not an attack, but those fillers I think interfere with her ability to speak. Or so it seems. Is it so bad not get fillers?

It's by Kim's own doing. She was offered the role back for a third movie and for season 1 and turned it down. It's all good. Pretty much mirrors real life as far as friendships go as you age.
@@jm7804 Did you see what they did to her character in the second movie? It was borderline insulting. Her character was growing and changing as a result of her cancer and would have never done what they had her do. It seemed like stepping away from the show was the only control she had over what happens to a character I am sure she loved as well.

Sounds like a veneer issue, her teeth. Why jump to a horrible conclusion like pain meds. This woman has never had a history with substances. She worked with the preservation of elephants for years, and adopted children not to mention the 25 YEARS she just mentioned working on SATC/AJLT.

Kim cattrell made this show the show. Each lady played a much needed character but Samatha was the glue… she was the icon… she was why we all tuned in. I probably wont watch anything but Samatha’s one scene. I hope she comes back if there is a season 3, which I’m very doubtful there will be. I’m shocked there is a season 2! I’m sure they got a season 2 based off of connections and the shows prior success. But there wont be a season 3 if there isn’t Samatha. There won’t be enough viewership. Give samatha a spin off though.
If Kim Cattrall could hold a show by herself she would have one. But she doesn’t. This is an ensemble cast, the different storylines is what made the original series work. I don’t watch this either but it’s not bc of Samantha. The way that KC has behaved has not endeared me to her, even if all she’s said was true. I don’t watch bc I’m not interested in them anymore. My interests have evolved and while watching these clips are nostalgic, I don’t care to give them the time it takes to watch the season. I wish them all the best.

I respectfully disagree. Her character was one-dimension and she constantly over-acted. We all have our individual opinions but I don't miss Kim or Samantha at all.

Why is her speech slurred
It's too bad that Kristen has fallen into the ageist trap and is getting Botox. She's slurring her words and her mouth looks goofy. She is such a beautiful woman. She'll be gorgeous at every age if she ages naturally.
It could be a facelift. Sometimes ppl who get them have those problems due to nerves being affected.

It wasn’t Botox. She said in several interviews that it’s filler that changed her face and unlike Botox it’s in your face forever. It’s evil stuff!

All the women made the show. I don’t really think one was better then the other. My fav on the show was Miranda and Sam. They just made me laugh the hardest but all the women and men ( the entire cast ) was amazing

For those who complain about the Patriarchy, she bought into it, by doing an incredible amount of work on her face. Therefore sending out a message of hypocrisy. The only way it will change, is Women making different decisions. Take me as I am, wrinkles and maintaining the precious storylines of our lives. She didn't need it, she is naturally beautiful.

She is such an engaging, charming, talented actress and her portrayal of Charlotte is legendary. So looking forward to the 2nd season of 'And Just Like That...."

No, we live in an incredibly self obsessed society where older people want the same attention young people get. She had her cake and wants to keep eating it instead of settling into the next stage of her life.

It really sucks that you are dammed if you do or don’t. What I struggle with is my face is changing no matter what I do. Now I need to decide HOW I want my face to change? Do I want to modify it or let it be? Either way I won’t recognize myself one day. That’s a hard pill to swallow!
It’s a very hard pill to swallow. Both my face & body are changing in ways that I never would have imagined. In my face, it’s not just wrinkles but the whole bone structure of my face has changed, not in a good way and I haven’t had any work. I don’t recognize myself anymore.

Oh, Hoda, when a cadre of women online expresses our disappointment and horror that a beautiful actress like Kristen Davis has had her face “manhandled” by an aesthetician, plastic surgeon, or other medical professional - we don’t deserve to be “set aside.” Rather, our opinion ought to be considered *in light of* the pressure and discomfort we women all experience as part of an ageist society especially critical of women.
It is no actress’ responsibility to cater to the public’s whims regarding appearance. On the other hand, actresses need to realize that their actions contribute to the very problem which drives them to obtain anti-aging treatments. So at what point do we, as women, stand up and say, “Enough is enough! That looks completely unnatural and ridiculous!” ???
When do *we* get to be heard when robbed of an opportunity to see a beloved beauty like Kristen Davis move into her next phase of life in a way that we’d be comfortable watching and even emulating?
Frankly, I don’t care for the eradication of every forehead line in aging women, as it looks odd. Yes, I’m speaking to Hoda and Jenna. But then again, I don’t care for the gushingly saccharine sweet, pandering and overly-complimentary manner of interview that you both engage in which includes throwing under the bus viewers attempting to engage in a relevant discussion regarding the point at which women should let be what course nature has taken. ☀️ Hey Today Show! There are so many worthy nonprofits throughout the nation, why not give them an opportunity to shine and feature a 3-4 minute segment twice a week and present some of the best. I can recommend many in Puerto Rico -bthere’s one that helps the six specialized public high schools on the island that are geared to help musically gifted students - it’s known by its’ acronym - (APAOSS) 🇵🇷

Her mouth, sadly, looks like the joker and I've seen that in other people that have messed with fillers. They say once you add fillers, they never go away, and to never fill your cheeks, which seems to be what she did. Still love her as a person, actress and for her work with the animals.

These celebrities who are using plastic surgery on a monthly basis don’t help us, every day women with our insecurities, and don’t help the agist problem at all. They make it worse actually. And I don’t see why its so amazingly awesome for a mother to fly to her kids for the weekends with her private jet. That’s like a basic parent thing. Without the jet in in most of the cases 😄.
Anyway I don’t have any problem with her specifically, I only talk about this fake Hollywood world and the fake praise they get for an example to have an intention to visit their kids🤷♀️ am I too negative or do I have some points here? 🤷♀️

…..She lives in L.A. Trends HAVE ALWAYS started there….always will (and New York, London, Paris). I was just in Malibu, Beverly Hills, and Brentwood. ALL of the teenage (LOCAL) girls there had “Prarie” dresses on (like Kristin’s). It’s very current, and NOW. Yes, it does look like “Little house on the prarie”, but that’s the TREND! …..look for it EVERYWHERE in middle America in a few years, when it trickles down!!

It's too bad cuz this show could have been really good if they hadn't gone down the crazy woke train. It's actually insufferable. They should have taken a page from the Friends franchise and let a good thing lie.
I watch re-runs of the original. This series I wouldn't waste my time. Kim Cattrall made the original series worth watching. When I watch clips of And Just Like That I am almost embarrassed for the cast. I am over them using the excuse for the ageist society. I am a 62 year old woman and I am managing to get past the ageist society. You have to learn to accept it!
The reboot STINKS. They ruined it.
