  • About this clip: Miranda - for a change - cares for Carrie's opinion on her moving to LA with Che. The eavesdropping rabbi tries to educate the arguing 50 year olds. Later, since Rock acts up and makes Charlotte feel like a loser mom (once again), the latter takes matter in her own hands and becomes "the chosen one" for the "they" mitzvah presided over by the trans-rabbi.

That scene reminds me of one of my nieces. She was not going to graduate from high school, but waited until the last day to tell her parents. They spent money on grad night clothes, bought admission tickets and even hired a limo to take her around to the parties and places. Things they never had. Things they really could not afford, but somehow found a way. She went to all the places and used the limo as though she had graduated. You mean to tell me that there wasn't anyone around to say let's not do this, let's end it where we ended it, and in the best show business tradition, let's hopefully leave the audience wanting more.
    What a shame.

I don’t know why, but Rock’s suit just doesn’t look right. It doesn’t look like it was properly tailored.

I can't tell what scene is more heartbreaking, this part 4:38 or this part 1:38
all this time, and as a culture we, not only haven't budget an inch in the right direction,
the younger generation can't even make sense of any of it, they don't even know how lost we are

They were trying real hard to give Carrie revenge for Miranda’s “what are you gonna do all day in Paris all day, eat croissant?” line from the first series… don’t know why though lmao it’s like they just kept looking for ways to remind people to watch the original instead

Rock is a brat. The moment of the ceremony sure as hell isn't the time to want to cancel it. Considering all the work their mother went through to make it possible. Shameful and disrespectful!

I was annoyed with Roc. If that were my kid, I would have dragged their ass out there and told them to put on their grown up pants on go thru with all the stuff they had me pay for . Sometimes we do things we dont want to do but we do it. My dad would dragged my out there if that is how i reacted at my 15th

@@madrigal7033 if they are paying for all that. Then you have some manners and appreciation. Nobody said Roc had to be the freaking hostess of the year but its one day and you put on your smiley face and do it. My dad taught me well. I dont cry over stupid shit and i dont blame others for things that dont happen and if i want something. I go work and get it

Rock - drops a life changing bombshell on her parents, who bend over backwards to cater to her needs, address her as she likes, spend a fortune on tailoring her Bat Mitzvah to be completely reflective of her and basically support her completely... and yet she still manages to make herself a victim. That's what that community is revolves around. Victimhood.

This is the exact same conversation.. just inverted from Season 5, SATC...after Lexi's funeral...when Carrie said she was leaving to be with "The Russian". The writers lack creativity, imagination, or authenticity. They did the same thing in both movies... stealing emotional catch phrases and recycled thoughts...instead of providing organic growth or expansion for the characters we love so much. 💔.
