Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement METALIZED! - Beethoven

- Metal guitar cover of the Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement by Beethoven. So, this is probably the most difficult song I know. Incredibly fun to play! (My go to song when I pickup my guitar to practice.)
Ignore the almost-accidental-mistake at 5:01 xD
Also yes, I made that entire background in Paint.NET.
Beethoven is one of my favorite composers. Between Beethoven & Bach, it's real close...

Even though you don't have as many views as the others playing this song on guitar, I think your performance of this is easily the best one. It's so fluid, and you actually show emotion and expression when you play this piece and it sounds like it too. Awesome stuff.
Dude \m/
331Erock Wow, thanx E!
331Erock hai eric...
my g
haaaaaaa
I've watched very carefuly the motions of both hands, and couldnt discern how come such an amazing performance played out with so little right hand plucking; sure I must've been eclipsed in the dark side of the moon(light-sonata)
Surely the most beatiful thing i came across this week; my back shivered.
Holy shit, you're a beast, especially at tapping and for creating great arrangements. You deserve much much more views !
This is in my top 3 favorite arrangements of this song for guitar amazing man subbed👌🏻
That's a super awesome comment friend, thank you!
И для меня тоже...шикарно...
Hey friend, the backing track is in the description.
what's no1 & 2 then?
@@KONTURcentrum Top 1 is TinaS for sure!
Even if you dont like classic, this is a great tune. Like you said, a masterpiece. But it is awesome and incredible how (fast) you can play this. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks friend. I'm glad you enjoyed it. =)
EVERY kind of music DOES
You know, what amazes is not the fact that you can play this, but that you can play it so fluidly. It really seems like it's absolutely easy just because in the video you don't show any trouble to play it (at least I didn't see any). Well, well done!
Thanks again friend =) I actually messed up once (maybe twice) near the end, but the note I hit wasn't completely off sounding so I left it in xD
oh hell yeah chills everywhere man killed it again!!
Thanks man! Beethoven had to of been a genius =)
darn good there, you and Tina S got this movement down
To be honest i like the way you mixed this unlike other youtubers. You hear what youre doing and it isnt drowned out by the other instruments. Very nice and love this. You got yourself a new sub! Peace ✌✌✌
Wow, thank you so much man!!
I am in love with your tone. Thank you for the backing track! SUB
Haha, thanks friend! Appreciate it :D
\m/ This is amazing! I always loved metallized Beethoven's and Bach's compositions \m/
Thanks again man! Same here, Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi, Haydn... So many good composers.
I do like your tone! Works very well here ..
Awesome metal shredding!
Thank you!!
Awesome!!! Inspirational...
Thanks friend! Never thought I'd be able to play this song when I first heard it.
wow! love it, impressive... awesome! I thought it was not possible on guitar this master piece. thanks to prove me wrong!
Haha, thank you so much dude!
A HUGE YESSSSSSSS...,!......I DON'T FIND WORDS TO COMMENT POSITIVELY...!....MARVELOUS...!
Everyone, I made a tab. There's a couple minor timing inconsistencies, but should be able to look past.

Holy fuck! Beyond amazing!
Thanks again friend :D
You deserve more views, I will not let this stand....!
Haha, thanks bro. I am working on another piano sonata for a talent show. Gonna do a full version for CZcams too.
Spyder....man....Awesome on a personal favorite Beethoven! So...Bach, too? Tocatta and Fugue in D minor would absolutely Baroque my speakers! My old music teacher (Trumpet) used to say, "Practice, practice, practice....and then, practice some more!"
y u so pro? you definitely deserve more subs
Lol, thanks friend. A lot of people tell me I deserve more. Not sure what I'm doing wrong haha.
Maybe it's what they are doing wrong. Like subscribing to Justin Bieber video channels instead.
Spyder1246 the truth is neoclassical metal is the most underrated music out there.
man, this is effing sweet
Thanks!
this is the best version i ever heard!!!
Joao Correia thank you friend
beethoven would be proud of you.. respect
34 people(people who disliked) dont know how this is hard to play. Good jom man u rock and you deserve more
Thank you bro! It is super difficult. I really need to practice these hard tunes, haha.
Fucking awesome! To me, it is kind of strange how Berthoven wrote those ascending sequences at the beginning of the movement. It's almost like there out of time, behind the beat, yet...they're perfectly in time. Interesting stuff
Thanks bro! Also, yeah, some of those notes are behind the beat. It feels really weird honestly.
Yeah dude sounds weird but cool
Beethoven would be proud of you!
3 am escuchandote maestro y q decir de la de castlevania de la biblioteca pedazo de notas q ases gracias
Красавчик!
Few years later still my favorite arrangement of this piece. Spyder i don't have guitar pro, could you upload a PDF version of the tab or upload it to songsterr?
I could do a tab style video, where it's just Guitar Pro being recorded.
@@Spyder1246 That would be awesome!
this is boss battle music at its best!
Haha, thanks dude!
-Wish there weren't crickets at the beginning- :( but still awesome! never mind, found the DL link =D SWEET!
Lol, I wanted to give it an authentic feeling.
best on youtube
excelente, bro tienesla tablatura para guitar pro?
I'm very aware of the green screen. xD
sick shredding tho

The more i watch and hear this, the more i see some resemblance to far beyond the sun by Yngwie Malmstein
great job, I enjoyed it. I think, that MS sounds better on piano, but this is good experiment.
I think nothing can beat the original masterpiece =)
How many takes did you do before nailing it perfectly?
Hey man, probably about 5. I don't really remember. It wasn't so bad because I was practicing it a ton to prepare for that talent show.
wait what talent show?got any vids?
Oh hey I don't think I noticed this comment. Yeah, I have a video on my channel, just look it up.
Ludwig Van Halen
cool...greetings from 2 musicians (sitar&tanpura) from germany..........(maria&harald,the nectar of the night)....
Nicely done! Time for some Glen Campbell! (Serious, investigate)
I... I... I've got nothin..
wow i love this version! can you share the partition/tab sir!? such a great interpretation! *CLAP*
Thanks for the awesome comment friend =)
I do not have a tab for this. I could make one, but it would take time. It's similar to Dr. Viossy's version though, & there is a tab for that.
When you enjoying your skill
You need to listen to "vitalij kuprij - piano overture"
Written by Dr Viossy. It would be nice if you could mention that.
Ludwig would be amazed...🎸🎶🎶🎵
Even the greenscreen are dead
OST Dark souls 3 Lothric/Lorian ? ( Yes i Try again xD )
Who is the moon?
@2:07 fucking crazy
Does anyone have the tab for this who can pleaaaase share me? Thanks! awesome version man!
Hey dude, tab should be in the description =)
@@Spyder1246 Thank you for the awesome cover, you eraned a sub! I think the link it's broken.
@@Brainblast_edd Here, try this one: drive.google.com/file/d/1eXXNdtdVOMn7XB1fdij_-EosoV3GeVgP/view
Hey bro,do you have tab for this?
Sorry friend, I do not. I usually just tell people to look up Dr. Viossy's tab since they're pretty similar.
Hey, I just finished the tab if you want it: www.mediafire.com/file/l6n4p0bqkr7h72p/Moonlight+Sonata+3rd+Movement+by+Spyder1246.gpx
just made me realise I have a long way to go on the guitar
Don't worry, you'll get there one day man =)
Spyder1246 you think it's possible on a nylon guitar lol
freak!
Thank you Michael from Vsauce, very cool!
Thats it i give up i am selling my guitar
you have tabs?? :D
Sorry man, no. But I mainly used a tab I found online: www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/dr-viossy-moonlight-sonata-metal-tab-s391458t0
Although my version is a little different, it's very close.
Hey, I finished my tab if you would still like to learn it: www.mediafire.com/file/l6n4p0bqkr7h72p/Moonlight+Sonata+3rd+Movement+by+Spyder1246.gpx
ZERO COOOL MOTIVATION !!!
Its the first movement..
My bad
..and saying thanks to Beethoven in the end is just completing this class act. In my opinion the best 3rd movement on electric guitar here on youtube - and you do have competition ;-)
He looks like Daniel Tammet , the autistic savant who can memorize the PI to the 47000 decimal who learned the Icelandic language in 1 week.
Pleeeesae, re-do WITHOUT the damn crickets!
what about if beethoven was a metal head? Shit... if theres any time traveler, please go to his time and give him tons of gasoline, a electrical generator, a great collection of pedal FX, a Marshall monitor and a Gibson SG... DOUBLE NECK!
Lmao, I wish! xD I honestly wonder what he'd think about people transcribing his music into different genres =P
Spyder1246 I can't imagine moonlight sonata in a tropical genre... BTW I was searching for a decent metal version for years, yours is quite much the best I heard around
Oh man, that's an awesome comment friend. Means a lot to me =)
jajaja olvidate de tener novia XD
Dislike from people who can't play even one tone of this song .... :D
so much unnecessary drama, 17 year old Tina S plays a much cleaner, less dramatic version of this.
DELETE DELETE DELETE DELETE
the guitar playing makes the awful cgi forgivable!
Lol, thanks xD Well, it's not exactly CGI, just a photoshopped image I made.
AceRidesBikes I actually thought it was rather creative. One of the reasons I like this channel
fake
Why is that?
Eargasm, just awesome bro...pure awesome!
Thanks bro!
THANKS! I'm in love with this channel
Amazing. Great I just found this video here and I like it. Along with Tina S and other guys... Fantastic job, thanks for sharing.
Cleanest cover i've seen so far, greatttt job
Dude, I wish you good health and luck. May I get to see more from you.
Wow! so cool arrangement!
Alongside Dr viossy's arrangement of the song , this is one of the best .
I love classical music and i love metal and your work combines them both in a superb way !
subbed instantly , keep it up !
Oh wow, I really appreciate that =)
Awesome! Thanks for sharing the tab and backing track dude!
BRAVO! BRAVISSIMO!
This is the 1st time in this cover in whitch I listen the correct trill ( other tend to omit then when they are so fckng important for this movement).
Congrats!
Thank you so much! :D
Great job my friend! Brings tears to my eyes. Amazing!!!
Thanks again friend!!
