Can we talk about how good you and your hair looked tho 👀
Tip for the community: Detangle and section your hair before you shower (the night before if you want to save time and can) use only a spray bottle of water and take your time. Your hair has product in it and the water will reactive it. Section into 4 or 6 section and then head into the shower. It will help you apply the shampoo directly to your scalp and give you room for your fingers to massage the sections of your hair as you cleanse from root to tip.
2) Lux experience, leave in used with a steamer. A steamer is wonderful to get more moisture into your hair especially during the fall and winter months. Yes it adds some time(you're worth the effort) but it aslo allows for your leave in or deep conditioner to penetrate better which will show up after you rinse with COOL WATER.

@Dexter try African pride’s pre poo. That stuff has so much slip, it’s a lifesaver.
@Dexter I have fine coily strands that tangle up so bad too, and high density but I agree that everything doesn’t work for everyone. For me personally my hair gets matted when I just hop in the shower, especially after a wash and go.

It's protective styles season! Make sure those braids aren't too tight and that you're carefully removing those wigs when it's time for another installation!❤️

I applied my leave-in in the shower last night 😏 not only that, I did an ACV rinse on my scalp, something I haven't done in YEARS. Wait wait not only that, I used Blue Magic to dookie braid my hair 😳. My hair is still wet, of course, but it still feels and looks moisturized and my scalp looks juicy, not a flake in sight.
Now I need to let go of these tiiied ends, then my hair would be living the goodt life.

That conditioner in shower idea is effective in more ways than one!!! 1) Prevents loosing moisture and having to re-wet your hair when you get to styling. 2) Prevents hair from dripping by a lot. 3) One less step in the styling routine 😆
Getting my trims on time has definitely helped me when it comes to detangling, washing, etc.

Heyyyy Willll! Ummm can you PLEASE do a video focusing on beard care. Your beard is always on point. My husband is part of the struggle beard gang. It grows but it's always knotty and kinky. I be telling him to relax it or give it a jerry curl 😳😳😅😅😅

Sulfate free shampoo is cool for me. I always shampoo each section 2-3 times just to be extra thorough so I never have buildup leftover but I don't mind

Yes, sulfate shampoos are a must if you use grease on your scald and alot of hair products. Them moisturizing shampoos are cleaning the hair

I think you should cut your hair based on how you typically style it. If you usually rock your hair curly, get a curly cut. But if you usually rock your hair straight, you should cut when it's blown out.
I usually get mine cut straight and wear it in protective styles. I need to find a curly cut expert

And also people need to realize that sulfate free shampoos come in range depending on what surfactants are in the shampoo, some sulfate free shampoo’s are very clarifying and will clarify your hair just as well as a sulfate shampoo and then there are some sulfate-free shampoos that are basically like a co wash. So you need understand the difference between the surfactants/cleansing agents that Are put in shampoos.
Getting a trim next months to get rid of these raggedy ends. Going to have to dry detangling before washing. Does it not get tangled back up once you shampoo/condition and everything?

What kind of clay washes have you used? I have one but I have not used it yet.
@@s.g.4823 chocolate kinks and curls clay washes are amazing. Aztec clay mask with acv is good too and you can get it in stores like target and walmart.

Did you just said mix acv with water one to one? I always heard it should be a quarter of AVC to the water.
The 1:1 mix is an "at least" ratio! Always important use a conditioner or something with a balanced pH just after using acv rinses!
Once asked a hairdresser about cutting my hair... the minute she said she'll blow it out first I mentally scratched her off my list. You see these curls and wanna cut them straight? In the good Lord's 21st century?
That's how your supposed to cut curly hair oherwise it can come out uneven.
@@catalayatern2251 I wear my hair curly 99.9% of the time. If you straighten it to cut it, it's going to be *very* uneven when it curls back up, due to having multiple curl patterns on one head (which MANY, if not most of us have). The looser curls shrink less and hang much lower than the tighter curls.
@@christyambrown personally i prefer my hair trimmed when blowdied. it just lets the hairstylist see all the damage that has to go. if it really is just a trim and not a haircut, then my stylist just takes the same amount of the end of each section.
update. Yeah, i don't trust blowdrying anymore. I got a few inches of heat damage on my ends, didnt know why my hair was brittle... finally pieced it together that the blowdry i got a few months ago was the cause. I cut it myself now, though still not in its curly state. i cut my hair while wet and take small sections with a travelling guidline.

Increase the heat throughout. That trick never fails for me. Else, you can try shutting the water off when applying products and bring it back to rinse.
