The hair dryer is actually bomb. U were way too impatient, hunni! LOL I use it when I'm watching TV after doing a style that needs a lil time to dry before bed. And 10 min ain't NUTHIN!! Neither is 25. Devote an hour, doll. Definitely ain't faster than a regular hood dryer.
and he tied his hair into a low ponytail. the hair needs to at least be spaced out and not clumped together haha
I have that hair dryer. I just bought it last week and only used it once. I used it to deep condition. I liked it. I agree with you he didn't use it long enough
âAir fryer twistsâ đđ
đđđ
PSHHHHHHHđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Pffffffđđ not the air fry twist
Idk why I lost it when he paused after asking us how weâre doing. That shit was so silly. Thanks Will
I have pretty kinky coily fine type 4 hair and I've tried the Felicia Leatherwood brush, the Denman, and the EZ detangler. The FL is by far my absolute favorite brush to detangle with. I try to only comb through my hair on wash day and use my fingers during the week and the FL brush makes brush detangling easier and faster and it lasts longer.
I use this big brush by Cantu. Love it. But, I want the Felicia Leatherwood.
I like the Felicia brush too, but I found that the TangleTeaser for fine hair was easier for me to use, I think the double layer was a bit gentler than FL
The tangle teezer is my favvvv. But have you ever tried the michel Mercier brush? I want to try that one so bad.
I just got the Felicia Leatherwood brush in a hella cheap Cocotique box that was on sale for $10 (plus shipping) but the whole box or products together costs less than the brush by itself so it was a STEAL!! I haven't used it yet but y'all got me excited and I just washed my hair this morning using the Pattern brush, which is just okay to me.
Your editing is everything Will. I love the steamer and detangling brush as well.
Iâll say it, that FELICIA LEATHERWOOD is the truth! And you gotta brush vertically til you get to the root, then brush horizontally.
Preach đđŸđđŸđđŸ love my felicia leatherwood brush
Yes! Homely to get a new one for Black Friday. Current one is about 3 years old.
I use a steamer when detangling my hair before washing it in the shower and it makes a WORLDâS difference. Iâve used the brush as well and it was effective too!
Thatâs so smart! I never thought about steaming before washing to help with detangling. I need to try that!
"The last time I checked the girls wasnt putting ozone layers on their hair" đđ
đ
Did anyone find out what the ozone setting was for?????
As a disabled person, bonnet dryers are amazing. I'm not going to injure or exhaust myself. It's great. I mostly use mine to dry my hair in winter or if I need to add heat to some kind of treatment.
I have type 4b hair and the Felicia Leatherwood brush is amazing for my hair. It gently and thoroughly removes shed hair with a ton of breakage.
Iâve used the Felicia leatherwood brush for 3 or 4 years now, itâs a godsend! My hair is tighter than yours (think mostly coily/kinky, similar to Naptural85) and itâs my favorite tool, I donât even use combs anymore. I think itâs the fact that it is more rigid compared to others, is why it works so well, because my hair has a tendency to âslipâ on other brushes and it ends up taking more effort than what itâs worth tbh.
I use the hooded dryer to deep condition for 45 minutes on high. My hair comes out like butter.
Seems like it has the same benefit of the steamer then. Might just get the bonnet and use it as a 2in1 product. Thanks đ
Lord I almost fell out when you pulled out that bonnet dryer! Bonnet dryers have been around ever sinse my momma was a teenager! She still has hers and I pretty much think she is using still today! Awesome video!
I LOVE a bonnet dryer. Those date back to at least the 50s, maybe earlier...my Grandma had one & she was born in 1915.
Baby girl, where is the apartment tooouuuurrr? Also I gotta say, sometimes watching your hair videos gives me hair depression because I cant help but think my curls will never look that way (4c gang gang) but I've come to really love my kinks and how my own kind of curls pop (or not!). It's really enjoyable to learn how other hair types go about their haircare!
Beautiful statement. â€
Yes will steam! I have that one. The ozone is basically a way to kill any pathogens that may grow in the device between use. You know how they love moisture and darkness
Whatâs the name of the steamer?
It's more so for help with hair and scalp issues and turns into O3 (ozone) helping with damaging toxins, bacteria and free radicals. It enters the hair shafts and helps with overall hair and skin health.
Lol Iâm glad Maui moisture works for you⊠that brand made my hair feel so bad and nasty. The shampoo dried my hair out and the conditioner had no slip in my hair and it was hard to wash out . Are there different outcomes with each line or when It comes to your hair?
Yes it's supposed to be... hence why they say different things...
@@Ariiiyaa2 lmfao okay.. n a lot of hairtubers be lyingâŠhence why I was asking himâŠ
Yes!! So the orange bottles i do not use theyre too much for my hair which makes sense that they work for him bcux he has thicker hair.. the pink bottles and the brown bottles have been my day 1s lol!!! Iâve also tried the green bottles and those are a hellllll to the no for my hair lmao. I say read each one and choose which works for what you think you got goin on!! The pink bottle is a staple I feel like but it does just depend ofc!
Maui Moisture shampoos contain Diazolidinyl Urea, which is another name for formaldehyde.
@@Mookie.Bryantlmao my hair is thick asf too but my hair hates that brand đ I literally was like ooouu these look nice let me try em and picked the pink shampoo and orangy brown conditioner and it was badddđ
I steam weekly and on wash day (about every 3 weeks. I live in cornrows and bonnets lol) and it's changed the game. My hair's growing like crazy because it's hydrated before moisturizing.
Hey ya'lll!!!
Hi Will , I love your videos ! â€ïž
Hi, Will! Iâm loving your personality. I want to give that steamer a try though. đ
HEY LOVE YA
ellaur will
Try the ozone setting on the steamer for a super boost of moisture. It's Amazing!! You won't regret.
Iâve started doing weekly hot oil treatments and sitting under my hooded dryer with a damp cloth sandwiched in between to shower caps
(to get the steam effect) but omg it has literally been a game changer for my scalp! I have seborhic dermatitis and I did not get a flare up for a month by doing this weekly.
I mostly do this steam hot oil treatment when my hair is not ready for wash day (not yet dirty) , it literally keeps my scalp moisturized. After a month of doing this I just now started getting dandruff!
I love the Felicia Leatherwood brush! It makes detangling sooo much easier and removing the hair is just as easy. Someone mentioned to brush vertically then horizontally which is how I do it and it makes a big difference.
I love the personality you bring to your channel!! Keep doing you, youâre helping so many people with their hair thank you đ€
Use the dryer when you're already plan to be sitting.. watching a show, working on the computer, etc.
The steamer is a win for me and I need to get mine out again because it is the truth! I have a hair dryer but I rarely use it, I mean years go by and it just sits there taking up room so air drying for the win even in the winter.
i use the bonnet dryer every time i do a twist out or something and i find that the back if itâs in a ponytail wonât get dry as fast. other than that i absolutely love it! i put it on my nightstand and get in bed after i finish styling, then wrap my hair and count some sheep đ€Łđ€Ł
not counting sheep hahaha
@@WillOnAWhim ohhhh muuhh guuuhhd hey will!! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž and yes they can feel like air fryer twists sometimes but i found that if i rub some oil on them and turn the heat down it helps a lot
The detangler brush is the truth!
Someone or somewhere I read (i forgot ) suggested to use it vertically for the initial swipe(s) then use it horizontally which i found it to be helpful
I have 2 tips. That brush can be bought at the feed store. Itâs a horse brush and itâs like 5$. I love them for my sonâs hair. And for the bonnet dryer, make sure to wear something thick because that hose gets hot. I just put an old tube sock over it because I was annoyed.
Omg! I ordered 2 of those brushes from a horse catalog for $1 like 7 years ago. Now I pretend I have a horse when they send me advertisements and someone sees it lol
@@JonezCee đ
@Dexter they were horse brushes first!đ
@@JonezCee I had someone ask me what kind of horse I had. I was so confused. Funnily enough that isnât the only brush Iâve seen at the feed store for a quarter of the price!
@@Oonagh72 too funny. I had the catalogs sent to my job and my boss saw it on my desk one day...long story short, I have to remember I have a horse named Omar as she asks every blue moon đ€Ł it was easier to say I had a horse rather than I bought a brush for me.
I love using the detangling brush after I apply my leave-in and oil to my hair. It has reduced the amount of breakage and made it easier to style my hair. I prefer using a conditioning cap over a steamer, and I prefer air drying my hair. I have medium porosity hair so it doesnât take a long time to dry.
I just love your vibe periodttttt!
â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Thank you so much for sharing Will!!! All of these new gadgets we're absolutely awesome! It was my first time seeing all three of them thanks to you. I think I'm going to try all three of them to see how my hair likes it thank you so much for sharing you're always so energetic and fun, love your videos as well as the content. God bless you and stay safe. đđœđ€đđđŸ
Just off of this video that I am seeing for the first time; I immediately subscribed and made sure to hit the 'notification bell' so I do not miss any of the great videos that you upload. I love your personality, your content, your entire aura; keep up the great work honey!
Yesss I just heated me up some food and was like, let me see if Will has uploaded anything new!
Best feeling
I just did the same thing after heating up food LOL! Leftover rice, collards, and meat loaf.
Steamers are LIFE!!! Love it for my face but for my hair it's great as well. Kiss makes one that's hooded and it comes with a facial attachment. The salon I go to sometimes uses steamers to deep condition and charge a gang o money.
10:30- Those bonnet dryers we had in the '80s, I am sure the one my sisters had was from the '70s.
Hi Will!
Steamers are awesome! I'm glad you've joined the club! My hair feels buttery after using it EVERYTIME.
You've convinced me to try the other things in the video and I want the scalp massager as well!
Btw, Your hair is beautiful đ
Why he got us replying to the screen like Dora and Blues Cluesđ
I'm early, period. Also this video is bomb as always.
4c and that detangling brush is literally lifeee
I actually have 4c hair and use the first detangling brush!! It really helps me with my wash n gos like you said, and I really love how there are no tangles left in my hair and it really is like a breeze after the first brush. đ
I love that Felicia Leatherwood brush but my daughter has tighter curls than me and she prefers the tangle teaser with the handle. Love your videos!â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Omg, I tried both too! My type 4 hair also liked TangleTeaser better, which made me kinda sad because Felicia is black owned and I wanted to like it more. But I'm keeping bothđ
I would be cautious about using it every wash day. I only use steam once a month, but thatâs just me.
Agreed. The dryer is better for flexi rod sets or something like that where you hair is more exposed. Thatâs pretty much all I use mine for. Or itâs good for a quick deep condition.
âNo we didnât..â đđ the Felicia leatherwood brush is great! I have it in pink, love it. I have yet to use a steamer but itâs definitely on my list
You could use the dryer when editing videos and then you are doing something while getting it dried.
The Felicia Leatherwood brush is everything for me đ but if your hair is less dense and your strands are fine then the EZ Detangler might be better for you sense itâs more flimsy and forgiving
But as for me and my dense and thick hair, the strength of that FL brush gets the job DONE DONE
I Loooveeee The Detangling Brush, I Wanna Try The Shampoo && Conditioner With The Steamer . đ©đ©
I love the soft bonnet dryer. I haven't used that same brand though. It definitely can make your scalp really warm so I alternate between the warm and cool setting on the low air flow. I love to air dry but it's definitely nice to have when you style your hair at night and don't want to sleep with wet hair!
I have the Felicia Leatherwood brush and I love it. I have 4b/4c hair and itâs great for my hair. I still have to be patient with it, but I always get good results when I take my time
I absolutely love your videos you always make me feel like Iâm thereâŁïžI had a great time trying these with you đđ
i use the dryer to deep condition with heat. it takes too long to actually dry my hair so i dont do that
you are a nut! i was CHUCKLING at that imaginary convo! LOOOOOOL
I've always heard not to steam too often. Like once a month is enough
I use the stream to rehydrate throughout the week after applying a leave in. I use the bonnet dryer for deep conditioning
Felicia Leatherwood IS THEEE BLUEPRINT FOR THE DETANGLING BRUSHES 12/10
Hello everyone! I feel like the notification gang needs an official nickname đ€
Edited to say- how about "The Girlies" or "The Gworls" as Will always says.
Also, I'm loving that cow print shirt! đ
The Gworls lmaoooo
Its the not naming the brand and yet still knowing what he means đ
Those twists look great but fr I love these videos đ„°â€ïž
my hair is straight as a board but i love ur personality, ur fantastic ^^
đŁđŁ *WILLLLLLLLLL* ! I use my bonnet dryer only when I deep condition my hair ! I just put the conditioner on, throw on a grocery bag (I'm being real about this lol) and sit under the bonnet dryer while I play on my phone for like 20 minutes đ€·đŸââïžđ I've had mine for 10 years now and use it 2-4 times a month.
That smile while that bonnet is onđđ
Not sure if anyone said this but when steaming your hair be careful you can cause moisture fatigue and mess up your curl pattern.
Everyone who has a facial steamer - you can use it to steam your hair as well!
Will is ROCKING these hairstyles
I have 2 of that Felicia Leatherwood brush and I will always have them in the stash. That brush is bomb af. That's why it has so many raggedy (and subpar) knockoffs.
That brush is tooo sturdy the one I have is mad flexible and literally glides thru my hair
Curl Mix has a detangling brush thatâs less rigid and I love it! I have type 4 hair.
Maui!!!! That Moana breezeđđŸ
Thanks for this review, I literally was just thinking about getting the dryer, but I was worried that I would be wasting my time and money and suddenly this video popped up in my suggestions đ . Keep up the good work: your twist were beautiful btwđ
I steaming my hair, face and scalp!!! Ours is the same texture and it works wonders for maximum hydration.
Do you know what brand the steamer is?
The dryer bonnet matches your jacket
6:07 thank u I was spelling some hot teađ đŸđŠŠ
Lmaooo
That first brush of the BUSINESS
I know Iâm late to the channel and this video, but I am into it!
Iâve been using the EZ detangler for almost a year now and itâs been amazing on my 4c hair. Itâs not as rigid as the Felecia Leatherwood and is super easy to clean (just let the shower run through the bottom of while holding in your palm. Shedded hair falls right out). But Iâll try the Maui line and will give FL her coins, too. Iâve been using Rucker Roots shampoo, conditioner, and leave in, and itâs been great.
The Felicia Leatherwood is my jam but I do like the Wonder brush too. I all was do steam in my salon suite.
I steam my hair a lot but not on purpose per say. My youngest gets sick a lot so I hope in the steam with her.
The steam is amazing!
Hi Will, I would love to see another tattoo edges video. I know you must still have a lot of them left over đ
Watching the transition videos on Instagram I love them with the Halloween theme.
I have type 4 coarse hair. Ive been using THEE felicia leatherwood for years. I use it to detangle my hair while its drenched with water & product for slippage. It thoroughly detangles and provides definition hunnyyy.
That steamer is a game changer đđŸ
I got one my hair is 4c/4b combo and that brush is magical.
BROOOOO ADD ALOE VERA JUICE TO THE STEAMER EITHER FOR YOUR FACE OR HAIR,I FEEL LIKE THAT RIGHT THERE WILL BE THE ULTIMATE GAME CHANGER!!!
Ozone does help with the dandruff problems you May be dealing during winter, that's one of the properties of ozone.đđżđđż
I have thick type 4 coils and itâs really corse but the brush is a miracle đ my de-tangle time is cut way down
Be careful with the steamer - it can easily give you moisture overload!
I have shoulder length 4c hair and that detangling brush saved my life. I do not section my hair or detangle in the shower, I wait until after my hair has softened from at least 2 hrs of deep condition then I wash it out, section, and detangle right before the blow dry. I'm too lazy to do anything else and it works.
I love your hair videos. We literally have the same texture of hair.
Steamers are great for your skin and helps product penetrate better.
That Maui Moisture gel is one of my favorites.
I have dense 4c/4b hair (mostly 4c), and when tell you if it wasn't for that Felicia Leatherwood brush, I would hate having to do my hair.
Miss girl can you pipe it down! đ oh God Iâve missed you WILLLLLL!!! đđđđđ„°đ„°đ„°đ„°
You already got me buyin up scalp massagers and now imma have to get a steamer. I'm not in the right tax bracket for this đ€Šđœââïž
Will be getting that steamer!!
Can you do a detangling brush haul or pro/con. Basically you trying different brushes or giving advice on the brushes you already tried
Love your discriptive thumbnail thanks for not being a click baiter đ
âHave you tried streaming your hair?â Yeah itâs call a showerâŠ..
i love the steamer and brush on my 4c hair x
I love the beads Will!â€
Never tried Maui moisture before !!
I need to try this đ thanks will
I have the same bonnet dryer but I only use it to deep condition every week for 30 minutes. My hair eats up the deep conditioner it works great.
I had high hope for the hair dryer smh but I may have to buy that steamer fasho!
